Took 4 of my Abu Garcias here and they did an amazing job repairing and cleaning them! Definitely plan on returning with my saltwater reels soon.

These guys are the best. Have had reels cleaned and repaired as well as rods fixed and they always do a great job. Needed a rod tip replaced today the they did it while I waited. 10 minutes and done. Thx so much.

What a great service!!
I have new shimano stradic, and straight from box having issues with reel spinning. Been to few places as i didn't want to either return it nor send it for repair service. One look and after few min getting the washer the right way, working like it suppose to. And didn't charge me either!!
Will be only going to Mathews with my reels and rods works to Mathews.

Took them some older reels one of them I have had sense I was 8 yrs and I’m 50+ . They called with the repair estimate which I was thinking it would have been astronomical but With that said I was floored on how low the price was . It more then fair . Picked them up got them home put them on some rods went down to the pound and the first cast with my antique ( lol) and it was completely amazing smooth and quiet wow and even caught a bass . Have several reels that are worth more than $300 each. This reel almost cast as good as those no bull. So guys keep up the good work.

I had a broken guide replaced on a rod. Repair work was done in the time frame estimated, price was fair and the work well done. You can't tell the difference between the pole repaired and one brand new in the store.

I needed my rod guides changed out/repaired and they were very honest about which guides I should use for salt water and informed me that the repair costs would be more expensive than what the rod was worth. Gave me an estinated repair timeline. Appreciated the honesty

Great folks here. Very friendly and willing to share info/knowledge. I'm particularly impressed that they're willing to show you the replaced parts to your reel when you return to get your reel. Gives a very honest tone to the experience.

Went in with a drag washer problem on a
Curado. Fixed it in a few minutes and parts and labor were very reasonable

One of the best fishing shops in town! Can't rave about this place enough! The guys here are great to talk to, they know their craft and are open and honest about every thing! With that being said what does being a wounded vet have anything to do with fishing? I can't stand people who use their military service to demand hand outs!? You should feel honored when a company offers a military discount, because they recognize your sacrifice and patronage to this county. To demand it is "absolutely ridiculous" as a army vet myself, I feel ashamed knowing there are people out there like this. Go see Matt and his crew I promise they will take care of you!

Not only does Matt clean reels, he builds rods too. He built me a custom rod. I got to pick every part that went onto it. Looks slick! Quality, quality, quality. Will go back again.

This is the place to have your reel serviced or repaired! Thankfully they have been able to fix all but one that my kid destroyed over the years. Saltwater rods and FUJI guides, you can't find better work and sure won't find better conversation!

Excellent place for reel/rod repair. Great service at a great price. I have had 5 reels serviced in the last 3yrs and all are still in excellent working order. A+ shop!

very very very helpful when i walked in the shop, Matthew was building a rod and took the time to stop what he was doing and give me some good knowledge about getting in to rod building. will always go back for my fishing rod needs and supply's.Great customer service and a life time customer
