I had the good fortune of passing this gem of a bookshop by chance and wisely stopped in for a look. The aroma alone was worth it! Well curated mom and pop bookshops like this are treasures and this one is no exception!

Awesome place to check out. I enjoyed getting lost in their wonderful collection of books! Loved the vibe and super friendly staff.

Picked up a copy of Beowulf yesterday for a very good price. I had a wonderful conversation with the owner too! I'll definitely be stopping here again, and I recommend to anyone interested in myth, spirituality, philosophy, psychology, etc.

Well curated, super sweet, smells great. My only complaint is that i never have time to look at every single book in the whole store.

If Iived in their city I would probably go there every weekend. Shipping is good . Takes about a week to process and 5 days to get to you depending on usps.

I ran into Splendor Solis during a vendors' fair at Quincy Market in Boston and oh my goodness! They had such an amazing collection of beautiful books at their stand. I nearly bought up all of their original D&D adventure books (real vintage ones from the late 70's and 80's!!) but I had no way to fly them safely home so I passed them up for some lovely hardcover books.

I'm SO glad that they have an online shop because it means I can get my vintage book fix even when I'm all the way across the country :)
