I placed an order on the phone on thanksgiving and was notified a few days later the item was back ordered. Came into our local store to see if they could help me out. The people there were so helpful and efficient. Took care of our issue to make sure my son gets his new reel by Christmas. So happy with this company. Excellent customer service. Will be our go to for all our fishing needs from now on!

We were completely lost! We took an Uber from our hotel to get on our dinghy and go back to our catamaran, only to find our dinghy stabbed to death 6 times and the motor stolen. We had no way back to our boat. Well, we have an account at West Marine so off we went. I don't know how we got so lucky to be greeted by Shane Allen but he literally changed our day from hopeless to ok, we can handle this. We came in with a list of dinghy, locks, harness, etc. You know what we needed. Well, he went to work and even delivered the dinghy himself to where we were stranded! He was an angel in disguise and I am so happy that he came into our lives. Completely and utterly grateful, Jacqui and Mike!

This West Marine price matched an aerator for me and saved me a trip and around 20.00. Their customer service is solid and they treat you like family when you walk through the door.

I'm about to go real commercial fishing for the first time, just offshore and on short notice, a bucket-list item. Especially want to figure out how the captain finds and identifies the location, exact type, and catches his schools of fish entirely at night using no hardware but his five senses, nets, and brawn. Knowing I'll be jumping into the water to help with the nets etc, not the safest activity in the dark for a genuine novice, he recommended I wear specific gear. Literally no one in the Melbourne area had it, but was on the West Marine website. Chris repeatedly called their other Florida stores listing it in stock to ensure it would be here within 4 days, usually getting disconnected after waiting 10 minutes, while I was standing there. He called an hour after I left to say he finally found my size Helly-Hansen off-shore bibs in Ft Lauderdale. Everything arrived in two days, in the correct sizes and no shipping. Having the right equipment can make all the difference, and I can't wait to go tonight. That is what I call Service.

Always available to help and answer questions no matter what you buy they always want to help and answer questions or give helpful hints.

Although pricey, they have high quality everything. The customer service is also great. Highly recommend.

A little bit pricey but the service is outstanding the employees are extremely knowledgeable and cordial and helpful and the products that they sell are all top of the line as Good as it gets so you don't just pay for the parts but you pay for the quality and the service and it's well worth it

Shane was fantastic! He assisted me when I purchased a tandem kayak over the phone. When we went to pick it up, it was on the display with a sold sign. Shane had already left for the day but his co worker (sorry I didn't get your name but you were amazing!) assisted with loading the kayak. He also counseled us on it's, gave us advice, and let us know about great places to go with our new kayak. Thank you for the wonderful experience! We will be back soon.

Open 7 days a week. May not always have in stock what I need but with their extensive relationship with hundreds of suppliers can usually get what I need in a few days. A little pricey but but no one else in town can match their service. If I order from West Marine on line and there is an issue I can get a refund or exchange at the nearest store. Been doing business with them for almost 20 years. The biggest issue I see with WM is people wait to the last minute to obtain product for a project and get angry because the product is not in stock. They are not miracle workers, but by golly they try. That's why I always shop there first.

Shane the manager had the honor of dealing with my inflatable boat repair. It was not repairable and had to be replaced. Shane worked with the repair and warranty companies to get my refund in order. Even though we purchased the replacement from another store and weeks passed, he was able to apply the amount of the prorated refund back to my card.

Do be aware when purchasing the extended warranty on boats and motors. If they ever have to be replaced, you only get a prorated portion of your money back.

Great shopping experience at this location. All staff, that I've dealt with, were friendly and helpful. Prices are in line with other retailers, including online sellers.

West Marine, what can I say. They are expensive, everyone knows it, don't complain about it. They have quality products that you need in stock for immediate purchase. That's what you are paying for and they are good at it.
