What I like the most: Fried chicken

This was my second time here. It was really packed because it was the Saturday morning rush! We eventually found a spot at the bar and had really good service.

The fried green tomatoes were good. The pancakes had good flavor but I would want to try one of the flavored ones next time. The chicken and French toast bites were good. But I would put the drizzle on the side next time because I didn’t like hot sauce flavor on my French toast. The Benedict’s looked amazing too!

My family and I celebrated Easter 2024 on Saturday, March 30. We were seated in their outdoor space, which was absolutely perfect. They had umbrellas shading each table and the tables were nicely spaced apart. Our server, Terrence, was very friendly and professional and knew exactly when to check on us-no too much, not too little. Just right! I highly recommend this charming Mobile spot. I hope it becomes a long-standing tradition! The food is scrumptious and the menu is diverse. Lots of unique options along with the fare most folks want when they think about brunch. You won’t be disappointed!

My partner and I frequent here at least twice a month. Sabrina and Andy and many more of the employees are absolutely amazing the food is fantastic! And the atmosphere is quaint with a Southern Charm of relaxation come on in for a mimosa some St Charles chicken or just some good old shrimp and grits highly recommend!

Referred by friends who work nearby at the US Army Corps of Engineers. Spot on review of the awesome tasty dishes. Love the atmosphere (bank building),creative & yummy menu. Also nice 80-90's soundtrack! Thanks for letting us ADD-ers mix & match the Eggs Benny dishes. Love that! Friendly and professional waitstaff. Will return so I check off more menu delights! Don't miss this Mobile treasure!

Had an exceptional experience at Ruby Slipper with outstanding food and impeccable waitress service. The presentation and cook of the dishes were truly amazing, earning a solid 5/5 recommendation. However, our visit was initially marred by an unprofessional hostess who greeted us with silence, avoiding communication and leaving us with a less-than-ideal first impression. Looked at us, looked away, marched off without a word so we just had to follow. Placed the menus down and just walked off.

Travel through and saw all the great reviews. The food was great, and so was Lorraine, our server. I had biscuits and gravy. I like my eggs scrambled to death, so I asked, and they delivered.

Awesome food with very creative dishes you wont find anywhere else. Located in an old bank building. Very cool place.

We enjoyed a fabulous breakfast at the ruby slipper in Mobile. We are visiting for Mardi Gras and decided to try something different. Soo glad we did!! We got the bacon infused Bloody Mary, and breakfast margarita. Both were fantastic! Then the catfish grits and the sweet heat French toast. My goodness everything was phenomenal!! Highly recommend stopping here!

The atmosphere is perfect! The coffee is one of the best i've ever had! Then the beinets! Wow the the lavender cream with lemon, uggghh. Light delicate beinets just perfectly fried. Absolutely astounding! Tye candied bacon was excellent! On to the bene-addiction!!! Wow!!! Just wow!!! The biscuits were a perfect balance of cloudy on the inside and crispy on the outside. We had 4 different benes, the St. Charles Chicken, the smoked salmon, the bayou shrimp, and the Eggs Lechon. All were mouth watering! Bought a pound of coffee because it was that good! Parking is a bit limited, but worth the effort to get there! Good eats!

We stopped here for breakfast during our recent vacation. The space has a really nice vibe and the music was right up my alley! Our server, Hannah, was attentive, efficient and super friendly. I had the biscuits and gravy and my wife had the breakfast tacos. The food was top shelf all around. I mean…delicious. Would definitely recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a great breakfast spot that doesn’t break the bank. Also, the cappuccino was excellent. Will be back when visiting the area.

I'm from Washington D.C. and the Ruby Slipper was not just the first stop on our food tour, but HAD to be our last stop before leaving.

Foods are great. I love our server she is so attentive and so polite. I ordered Spanish omelette. My grits is so creamy, I'll sure follow there idea for grits.

Having been to the Ruby Slipper on Magazine Street many times, we were excited to try the Mobile location while we were on vacation. We were more than satisfied with the food. It was wonderful, but, we were absolutely blown away by the service! We were a party of 6, 5 adults and a 6 year old. Andromeda took care of everything! She was absolutely the best server we have ever encountered anywhere. Thank you Ruby Slipper and thank you Andromeda!! We will be back in September!

What a cool place! It looks like a bank from the outside, but a really trendy vibe on the inside! Maybe a little pricy, but the food was on point! Many gluten free options and one of the only places in Mobile where they offered celiac accommodations. Omelettes, cheese grits, fresh fruit- delightful! Fantastic and speedy service! My only criticism would be that the mimosa flight was lovely and colorful, but I would rethink the proportions in the blueberry lavender mimosa…tasted like drinking a bar of soap. But the watermelon pomegranate? DELIGHTFUL! Thanks, friends!

Came in town for a wedding and googled “homemade biscuits” and this was the 1st place that popped up. The food was delicious!!! We had a variety of items to choose from. My favorite was the mimosa flight, cinnamon roll pancakes, and of the course the biscuits. Our server, LINDA was AMAZING!!! The service was quick and fast. Although they do not accept reservations, you can place yourself on the virtual waitlist. Everything was great!! 5 out of 5 for me. You should try it

I love a good hamburger. Their hamburger was FANTASTIC! The seasoned fries were spot on. If you are in Mobile, you must eat here! Will return with the wife!

You can never go wrong with Ruby Slipper in any city or at any location. They are always on point and a great franchise. I thoroughly enjoyed their brunch and always make it a point to stop by Ruby Slipper whenever I'm nearby one.

Trifecta was amazing and the bread pudding pancakes were great. Hanna was an awesome server. Great experience.
