Medal of Honor Park

What a great place to take a child and let them play. I took my 4-year-old grandson and he played really hard for 2 hours. This giant playground is awesome. I'm used to a rope hanging from a tree and maybe 2 swings. This place is like a kids dream.
There are benches for the adults to sit on. I had a hard time keeping up with where my grandson was. Look at the pictures and you'll see why.
I highly recommend you take the kids here.
There is a water fountain by the gate entrance.

I would say this is the best park in Mobile. There are a big and small dog park, soccer and baseball fields, tennis courts, walking trails, a splash pad, an absolutely wonderful playground, and even a disc golf course. I bring my kids here all the time and have held and seen many birthday parties at what I consider the main pavilion (there are 2 or 3 you can reserve though through the city of Mobile's website or app). And very often there are 2 ice cream trucks in the afternoons. Highly suggest this park, especially for kids of all ages.

This is the best park in Mobile for kids. This park offers so much. My understanding is that it is 80 acres total. Wide concrete walking/running path. You could roller blade, too. Also there are trails in the wooded areas and half of these trails have a disc golf course. There are multiple tennis courts available. I think a small fee is asked. Summer time, you have a splash pad for the kids. Soccer fields, baseball fields, and football field. Let's not forget the two dog park areas. One for small and the other for large. Please pick up after your pet's and if they are unsociallized, it would be best to take them when there are not many there.

Took my grandson to the splash pad and he really enjoyed himself! A lot of kids were falling because the painted pad was slippery. I would suggest wearing swimming shoes.

The park is clean and my beagle Katie Belle 🐶loves the dog park.

Attended a pet event with outstanding turnout. All the dogs was on leashes and the owners cleaned up after their pets.

This park has everything: Football, Baseball, Tennis, Gymnastics, Walking Trails, A playground, dog park, restrooms, large parking lot, and the woods. Plenty of people walking, jogging, or with their dogs. I think this park has the best playground in Mobile, it is five times the size of other playgrounds. Great place, and safe.

This park is so cool, the structures are great for nearly all ages, I really wish I had a park like this when I was a kid, I absolutely love bringing my little here and meeting other families here, the hiking trails are so nice too, it's cool in hot weather

I love the very shady dog parks; nice to let them run free, and have water available.

Awesome park and there is plenty to do. Lots of parking as well. They have a paved walking track, a playground, restrooms and a nature trail of sorts. They also have plenty of space and parking along with large open areas. Very enjoyable. Very safe. Exciting.

Favorite park to go jogging. It's always clean and the route for joggers is safe. Just don't feed the ducks

Small/ BIG dawwwg park, play park, and splash pad. Of course there's a trail for walks and jogs.

The play structure was enormous and super fun. The covered shelters had plug ins to charge. The Kona Ice truck was there and it made the visit extra special

My grandkids love it..we almost always have their birthday parties here..plenty of parking and plenty of things for the kiddos to do..also tennis court and walking track..

Such a Fantastic park in Mobile! There’s a little bit of everything here - playgrounds for the kids, baseball fields, soccer fields, lots of walking and running trails and - for us, a couple of great dog parks where your four legged family members can interact with others! Super nice people here - everyone is friendly, respectable and out going!

My kids love this park! It's usually pretty packed but we usually find a quite spot to picnic and let the kids play in the back field area.

Very nice for all of the kiddos! This is a great park for everything fun for the family outside! There's a great walking path to get those steps in. People were doing yoga, playing tennis, baseball, having picnics, cycling, football, and more with their families! It was great to see all the people and families out on such a beautiful day.

The last time we visited, the park didn’t have a splash pad but this is such a brilliant addition! Plenty of shade and benches to sit at for parents that don’t wait to frolick in the water. Safety gate so little ones won’t escape. The ground of the splash pad is a slip resistant material which is safer. The playground structure is huge and great for kids of all ages and adults. This park also has fields, tennis courts, walking trails through the forest, AND a little Free Library. We could have spent all day here! Just needs food trucks stopping by 😉
