I read lots of reviews about the passport service here so my expectations were low. BUT I kept an open mind. We came on Saturday morning during walk in passport hours and arrived right at 0900. We had all the correct paperwork and we completed 4 passport applications with photos without issue. Maile was fantastic and very helpful. I honestly think some people just don’t read instructions online and don’t come prepared and expect magic. Come prepared people! They don’t make the rules! I watched as more people showed up without the required paperwork/documents and with less than pleasant attitudes. Thanks Maile for all your hard work!

Had a great experience with the woman who processed the application for my daughter's first passport. She couldn't have been nicer, was efficient in the process, and patient as she took my daughter's photo.

In and out quickly for mailing critical documents. Staff was polite and friendly. No issues. I’ve seen the other reviews but I was not here for passports so maybe that’s the problem.

We’ve been going to this local USPS since 2012. The staff have always bent over backwards trying to be helpful. In particular, Rose always gives personalized attention to customers by explaining how different services work and assisting to make sure each transaction is processed with optimal efficiency. I’ve learned a lot from her over the years and am very grateful for her commitment to ensuring shipments to AP adresses for military families work smoothly. Even management took time to assist our HOA last year by working with us to ensure uninterrupted delivery when our repaving project interfered with automobile access to the community boxes.

It’s just heartbreaking to watch our USPS being abandoned before our eyes by the current politicized administration. So many examples:

Our Express mail floundered back and forth between Dulles and odd sites in VA before finally arriving 31 hours late at its location in TN last week, in spite of leaving Oakton in the usual timely manner.

How demoralized our hard working postal workers must feel each day to even be greeted by the site of this once honored establishment’s well cared for building now being left without simple general maintenance. The outside is becoming littered with trash and nature is taking over the building, grounds and lot. It’s starting to look like an episode of Life After People.

For those with eyes to see - we are witnessing the Constitutional Canary in the Coalmine which harkens the smothering, systematic murder of our Republic. Should we just stand here watching in silent tribute to a coalition whose publicly announced aim is to burn down “the establishment” (with us all trapped inside the resulting demolition)? Or can we at least step up to show appreciation for the people who are our civil servants working against all odds to faithfully fulfill their duties in this fight for survival?

I don't usually post reviews, but I met MaiLe today and she is wonderful! I recently had some questions regarding Non Profit mailings and she was so helpful. She was patient, knowlegeable and took time to answer my questions. MaiLe was so kind, a bright spot to my day.

QUAN QUAN QUAN- What a sweet lady she is, such a gem. She is friendly and knowledgeable and it was a very delightful experience in this post office. Quan helped me with detailed information and bright smile. Quan must receive a bonus or a pay raise for her wonderful customer service. I wish I could give her 100 Stars in this review. Thank you Quan, you were splendid.

Mail service is great! They always have at least two employees working, so the line never gets too crazy. Clean and easy to get to.

Two postal clerks helped us with our issue, really took the time to explain everything and made sure we did it right this time. Service was so much better than in DC

I drive out of my way to go to this post office location instead of Fairfax's post office because the employees here are very polite. I've never had an issue at this location.

Great post office, great people, if you have an attitude or are in a big hurry go-to Merrifield for a bigger PO
