We’ve all had terrible post office experiences however, today I had GREAT interaction and felt compelled to leave a positive review. Anwar helped me with an envelope that was returned to sender, and another package that was a gift for a friend. Anwar took the time to insure both packages arrived on time (peak holiday season) and at the most affordable rate. You put all these negative reviews to shame, Anwar. THANK YOU!!!

mostly I have found the staff helpful and friendly, and the location is convenient, no problems parking.

Went around 4:40 and they assisted with some mail I needed special tracking information on, as well as doing my passport photo.

Don’t waste time trying to do yourself or going to other shops. I had tried to do myself (picture wasn’t clear), then went to a local shop to get it done and was told I had to pull my hair back and have a neutral expression (it was the worst mug shot ever). Thi did the photo and said I could have my hair forward, just out of my face and a neutral smile. She did a few shots for me and even assisted with making sure the application was correctly labeled (almost missed putting my birthday on the check)!

Just come BEFORE closing and they will assist you with whatever you need.

Store hours really fit my schedule (opened earlier than other offices). Service was professional and they were able to solve my problem quickly.

I point out that the majority of people writing negative reviews have self created problem with the US postal system. My 30 plus years with this post office has been nothing less than excellent.
This office has always been as prompt, even during last days of Christmas, courteous and helpful as they can be. It is always well staffed and fully functional.
Anyone who has complaints about service here needs to look at their own problems with time management.

Good Customer Service Experience

Very good experience!

I've gone to this USPS a couple times in past years. It's by no means a fast experience, but it wasn't bad. Looking at different USPS locations across northern virginia, it seems most are rated 2/5 or worse. So if you're trying to find a well rated location, you might just want to go to the closest one instead. They are all pretty poorly rated no matter where you go

UPDATE: As seen below. I have written some terrible reviews about this USPS location and their inability to deliver to our Apt. Locker system. Their has been a complete turn-around and all packages are being received on time ! I gave 4 stars because I want to make sure it lasts. The telephone customer service is probably still a joke but thankfully due to the improved deliveries I have not needed to call. Thanks.

This place is a bad joke, If you have delivery issues, which you will, just hope that you if you are able get through to their office {Very difficult} you are lucky enough to get Matt on the phone. He seems to be the only person who actually resolves issues,

I went here for around five times, and each time I am satisfied with the service. This USPS office is always crowded but the waiting time is not long. But I really cannot understand that why no pen provided.

I’d say that the workers at this post office are relatively better than the most of them. Usually they care less how many people are waiting in line or help the “customers”, but this one has staff who cares. Overall customer service at the usps need to be improved though.

Long wait, but service was fine.

I come here every month to make a money order and the staff are always helpful and kind. They don’t make a fuss over the obnoxious amount of cash I make them count either, which is sweet of them.
