This is the friendliest, most helpful and efficient neighborhood US Post Office I have ever used. The staff is always patient and kind and speedy, all features we appreciate in a post office.

Always such great service at the counter here! They keep it moving even when customers are superslow and don't have their packaged wrapped well. The postal workers are soooo patient.

This review is directed at the Winslow office and the USPS in general. I run a small business that involves frequent shipping, most of which I accomplish through clink-n-ship online postage and drop off at the Winslow post office. Now and then I have brief interactions with Winslow staff at the drop off window, who are invariably pleasant and helpful in those short exchanges. I receive mail at my residential mail box and, to date, that service has always been carried out with diligence and consistency.

I have reasons to use all major US shipping companies depending on the size, shape, and insured value of the item. I've noticed over the last five years that USPS shipping times have accelerated, in some cases outcompeting UPS or Fedex. In the last 12-18 months, USPS shipping times have been, on average, far faster than the other two corporate services while remaining less expensive. USPS also has better shipping protection options, and their package insurance is at least as reliable as their competitors.

As someone who has reason to compare the three big US shippers on a regular basis, as far as I am concerned, USPS is dominating the market right now in terms of service, speed, security, and convenience. Keep up the excellent work, USPS!

Update 4/2/2022: I mailed a prelabeled Priority package from Bainbridge Island P.O. to a small-town OH private residence. It was accepted by the P.O. at 3 PM on March 31 and delivered at 3 PM on April 2. Two days from BI to OH! That, like most of my shipments from this P.O., moved lightning fast. Thank you so much and keep up the great work.

I had an outstanding experience at the post office in Winslow on Bainbridge Island. I had four letters returned to me. When I went to the post office to understand the problem, the gentleman behind the counter explained the problem and helped me solve it. He even gave me a stamp from his wallet so I could post an unstamped letter. I am grateful for his clear and kind assistance.

I've had a PO Box in this post office location for 18 months and am very happy with the service. Counter personnel are friendly and efficient. They even know my name and PO Box # when asked to retrieve packages. So I actually enjoy going to the post office and appreciate their service.

I'm from out of town using the post office to mail some books. The person who helped me was efficient and courteous without being overly friendly. Better than my hometown post office.

Dedicated to great ethical service

This post office is in desperate need of repair, but I get that that isn't the fault of this location in and of itself. Sending out mail is always pretty easy to do, and the staff behind the counter are helpful and kind. They have to deal with a lot and in a building without proper climate control. USPS needs to seriously renovate this building or at least fix the broken door and lack of heat and A/C.

I've been going regularly to this post office for years. Compared to the PO in Seattle, it is fine. Maybe heaven has a perfect post office, but on earth this PO usually has short lines, the staff assist you and the place is clean.

Always lost mail OR miss delivered mail. So far since 12/16 I have had over 480.00 worth of packages lost missing or stolen. Never had but one lost in California and that was with UPS..Something has to be corrected...UPDATE 1/2019 WE have a new post master and a new carrier, we have very few missions deliveries now or damaged packages. Thank you!

People in the post office are fine and courteous. BUT WHY IS OUR MAIL AT 11232 PINYON AVE NE BEING DELIVERED MORE THAN 2 HOURS LATER THAN PREVIOUSLY?

I received a nice email and spoke to a manager at the branch who definitely made me feel like they took my complaint seriously. I guess that’s all you can ask for!

Pleasant post office, small but well-organized/cozy space, helpful staff, reasonable hours.

The employees are always kind and helpful. The management seems totally whack however!
