Doc's Marina Grill

This place is amazing! The prime rib sandwich was soooo good… and free refills on fries were a bonus. Definitely our favorite stop on the island! Charlie at the bar was amazing!

The place is right on the marina and has a great view! The service was super nice as well! The food was delicious too ! Got the ahi tuna tacos and the salmon aglio e olio !

The tuna tacos sauce tasted very similar to the sauce put on sushi rolls. Maybe spicy mayo?

We came on a Saturday at lunch, and although there was about a 25-minute wait, the restaurant is right on the water. There are piers and pathways you can walk on and look at the beautiful view while waiting! They have plenty of outdoor seating that is all shaded and comfortable. They also have indoor seating and a bar if you prefer that! The staff was all very friendly and it didn't take our food too long to come out. The kids got two different coloring sheets which was a fun change. All of our food tasted excellent and were big portions!

Sat outside under a wonderful tree. The service was good, the food even better. I ordered the chicken sandwich. I have to say I rarely order chicken sandwiches, but this on was very good. The chicken was very tender the vegetables were fresh and the fries completed the meal. I also tasted the appetizer clams. Very good.

If you want a place to look at the scenery and have a good meal this is the place.

I am eating here for the third time, and each time is AMAZING 😍!If I could give 100 stars I would! Excellent, fast service with amazing meals. I got the hamburger and it comes with fries. I included a picture because the size is AMAZING. I saw others plates, all looked delicious. With a great meal and a view of the marina you can't go wrong. They have great seafood too. Definitely check this place out!!! Posting new pics today. Burger I had is called the Porter! Tip big and tip cash. All the wait staff work hard. 😉

We spent a lovely Saturday dining on Doc’s patio with a view of the harbor boats. The food was a culinary delight! We shared all our dishes & highly recommend you do the same. The mac & cheese was rich & flavorful, fried oysters were tender and not overly breaded, the tempura shrimp was light & crispy, the prime rib sandwich was hearty & cooked to perfection, and the clam chowder was full of clams-they do not skimp!
A perfect added touch was the manager Juan coming and checking on us. It was wonderful that he made suggestions to our group on what to order. He was spot on!

delicious food! hostesses and waitresses were super friendly. got the salmon sandwich & the smoked salmon mac and cheese. perfect portion sizes and very tasty! would definitely recommend :)

Loved it!! First time there. The hostess was very pleasant.My family and I had great service. I wish I could remember her name. I'm so sorry!!! Prime rib and cheddar sandwich AMAZING!! Fish and chips x 2,broccoli cheddar soup ,clam chowder and the carrot cake is what the hubby and kiddos had. 10 out of 10!!! Thank you.

If you want to enjoy some decent food and beer with an insane view of the harbour at Bainbridge island, then you should definitely visit Doc's Marina Grill. We visited the place on a sunny day during weekend. Had to wait for half an hour to get a table outside. But the experience was well worthy of the wait. We ordered beer, fish & chips and seafood pasta. Loved the fish and chips. I will definitely visit this place during my next visit to Bainbridge.

The staff were very nice. The clam chowder is worth a try and the service was quick. Definitely worth trying if you're visiting Bainbridge island. It comes with a good view too.

Took a mother daughter trip to Bainbridge Island and I was craving some clam chowder so we stopped here. The view of the marina was gorgeous and the food was yummy.

The service, food, and views were amazing. Parking can be a bit tricky, especially if they are busy.

The fried oysters were the best I've had, and the coleslaw was very good as well. The hot buttered rum seasonal drink was exceptional. Highly recommend.

I wouldn't think that I would like butternut squash risotto ($27) but it is something I want to try to cook at home now. The seattle cider berry rose is crisp and delicious. Everything I tried there was great. The portions are decent and there is ample seating inside. The prices are a bit high; if you want a small appetizer, entrée and a drink you'll spend about $60 pp. We can for dinner, so we could not see the view, so I'm sure it's worth it when you can actually see outside.

Amazing food, nice location and good service . Will definitely come again.

Update: We came again on 7/18/2020 and we were very impressed with the food. The salmon and fish and chips were delicious also the calamari and the kale salad. Katie our waitress was awesome

We have been coming here for years-- decades. We like to walk on the ferry, walk the few blocks to this restaurant.
Where other places have had their ups and downs, this place remains incredible. It has always had the best chowder I've ever tasted. That is saying a lot. The Seattle area is so good at chowder that the fast food places beat chowder I've had at "The best" places around the world. This was even more the case when Ivar's had its salmon chowder.
This chowder? Five or six steps beyond the rest. Paprika, anise, green onion, potato, clams, but there is something more.
We have tried much of the food and can highly recommend the calamari, pasta, salmon mac and cheese, risotto, salmon sandwiches, it's all stunningly delicious. The cioppino was good, but maybe needed to gel a little more as the next day it was a-MAZING.
Atmosphere? Relaxed. Kind. Helpful, but not pushy about drinks. The view is the best. Lovely harbor, boats, sun through the clouds, rock garden, trail. Take a walk after to let your dinner settle.

The food was delicious! The batter on the calamari had a savory tang. The Seard scallops were cooked to be tender and not chewy along with a sauce that was amazing! The shrimp were seasoned to perfection.
Price point was expected and the staff was great!

Tucked away the end of Bainbridge Island is a yummy restaurant called Doc’s! It is on the water and surrounded by flowers, greenery, boats, and the cutest shops! We had to get the clams and they were delicious! And we tried some of Seattle’s beers and ciders. The fish was so fresh and good! Make a stop here if you can!

We eat outside by the marina. Wonderful location. The seafood Mac n cheese with smoked salmon was fantastic and the claim linguini was amazing. Service was super and fast. Couldn't expect much more.

Great place to eat inside or out along the water. Had the fish tacos, calamari, and portobello mushroom sandwich. The Calamari and Portobello mushrooms were wonderful. Great service by Morgan. Good beer on tap. Fun atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit but call ahead during prime time dining hours to put your name on the list as it can get very busy.
