My two boys ages 7 and 11 love this store! They always find a new Lego set when we go. Def recommend for kids of all sizes. They even have some fun adult stuff too like desk puzzles etc.

Such a cute shop. Unique and high quality toys. Worth a stop if you’re in Asheville with kids. I, as an adult, wanted no less than 15 stuffed animals for myself!

Not enough can be said about this marvelous magical place!!! For starters, the shop is quaint yet bountiful.

We visited Curio while vacationing in Asheville. The snug layout is wrought with character, and the toy selection is impressive for such a modest space. The staff with whom we interacted in-store was fantastic. They had lots of product knowledge and were accommodating, interactive, and informative.
One lady introduced us to some new toy brands we didn't know and got down on out toddler's level to play with him during our shopping adventure.

What really blew my mind was 2 weeks later when we were back in our hometown 100s of miles away and noticed a defect in one of our purchases... 1 phone call to the store, and an exchange/replacement process was underway.

This level of service is amazing and a joy to experience these days!!!

We loved how many classic style toys they have in stock and the cleanliness of the whole place was remarkable.

If we had walked in the door just to look around and play I genuinely believe we'd have been treated just as well, so this place is a "must-go" whether you're buying or browsing.

Seriously... Curio has that old school intimate neighborhood nook shop appeal with a modern age fun twist. Do yourself a favor, and pop in! ESPECIALLY if you have kids with you.

I love this store. So many fun things for toddlers and for younger kids starting school. I love the fact that the items they sell aren’t just toys but more on educational tool. Just visiting from a different state but will definitely come back when we are around.

Such a cute shop!! Has things I've never even seen before! The prices are pretty reasonable, the smaller stuff especially. Great place to find gifts for anyone, no matter the age.

I just visited this little place with my girlfriend and enjoyed looking around at all of the neat stuff. Particularly enjoyed a hilarious exchange with the two staff members at the counter, both people were pleasant and funny which I appreciate.

Curio is the happiest, friendliest toy store in Asheville. I have been coming here with my children for years and have always been treated with kindness, consideration and enthusiasm. The staff here genuinely love children, so the atmosphere is light hearted and fun. The selection of toys is great, especially for a small store. I also love that the store it’s on the small side because my children don’t get so overwhelmed or tempted by toys way outside our budget. Its location is fabulous because we can pop in whenever we are downtown. I can also get my children to go to art galleries with me if I promise them we’ll go to Curio afterward! Since I’m an artist this is a huge perk!

This store is well worth a visit! Lots of soft cuddly plushies and other assorted toys and games. Our cashier, Vea, was so kind and friendly! I definitely recommend checking this place out :)

Store owner was so helpful and genuine. She didn’t mind my son actually playing with the toys. So many stores want me to keep him still and quiet. She let him bounce a lighted ball down the stairs and he was so happy.

Cute little shop with great toys. The staff clearly loved kids and greeted our one-year-old first. She didn't mind the stroller (a little tight, but we have a small one) or her kicking feet.

First experience and certainly not our last. We visited this evening and the two ladies working were absolutely amazing. They were patient and kind when our almost two year old had to check out every toy. Often boutique toy stores in my opinion can be a bit overpriced but this one was very reasonable and our son left with a few toys to entertain himself! If you find yourself in downtown Asheville, stop by!

I have stopped here many times over the years since its opening. I've bought a few things here and there for my daughter since she was 2 or 3. I just bought her a Van Gogh painting set of The Starry Night today, she's 9 now

This is the loveliest toy store run by the most helpful, enthusiastic people. All I asked was what they had for 2 year-olds who love dinosaurs, and within minutes my arms were full of various unique options. You can tell that the people who work there have knowledge of children and really enjoy what they do!

I was recently in the store, shopping for toys for my special needs daughter. She has a very rare genetic mutation that causes seizures and developmental delays. It makes it very difficult to shop for her because she can't tell me what she likes. Upon walking into Curio, we were instantly greeted by the girls running the store that evening, Via and Morgan. They had previously been helping my mother with things to get for my daughter. They had gone and specifically ordered numerous toys that my daughter would like. It was an absolute pleasure meeting them. In this day and age, it is refreshing meeting others that love my kids the way I do. It genuinely seemed that they feel just that. I will most certainly be going back to Curio as they have gained a lifelong customer. Even my husband was excited about these cool new toys, and he never gets that excited about anything! Absolutely amazing store with even better staff. Thank you Via and Morgan. You will never know how much this meant to me.

The owner greeted every person that entered the store and helped us a great deal. We were on vacation and after driving three hours home, found that one of the toys we bought was missing some pieces. I called and the owner actually offered her personal pieces as replacement, but we were too far away, so she helped me contact the company and the our missing pieces and "a little something extra" are on the way.

It is an absolute pleasure to visit this store. I have a beautiful special needs granddaughter named Miranda, and it is very difficult to find toys for her birthday and Christmas. Via and Morgan are absolutely amazing. They truly care about their customers, and are incredibly knowledgable about the products they carry. They go so far as to watch for toys that are safe for Miranda to play with, and they call me and let me know. I am a customer experience manager, and their customer service skills are unmatched. Thank you so much for caring about Miranda the way you do. Curio customer for life here!

I love this toy store. Every birthday, Christmas or special holiday this is my go to toy store. My daughter loves it when we visit. The lady who has been there for years is so helpful and kind. So happy this little store exists.

This is the cutest shop with very unique toys, etc. The manager was so helpful shipping a birthday gift for my son. It arrived as was expected and it was even gift wrapped!

I had some trouble ordering online in Malta, but a sweet staff member helped me wrap and deliver a present to my nephew with a custom note over the phone. Thank you. I am very grateful. Great and easy experience, highly recommend!
