Citrine Cafe

Taking the train up the Hudson to reunite with an old friend in Garrison we decided to get out in Cold Spring for a wander and a cup of coffee. As walking about with two heavy suitcases proved rather cumbersome we cut our exploration short (charming town though!) and picked a place at random. We lucked out – with a warm welcome by the charming guy manning the café (allowing us to bring in our luggage), we settled down to wait for our pickup. Best cup of coffee during our trip to the States that was, followed by some hot chocolate (out of curiosity) which whilst not as tremendous was well made and hit the right notes, too. Spent the rest of the stay chatting, exploring the shop and generally having a good time. Thoroughly recommended.

I work in town and end up getting lunch to go from here once every week or so. The staff behind the counter are always so nice, and the food has been amazing every time. The pesto chicken sandwich is SO GOOD. They have a small menu, but there are multiple options for different dietary needs which is great.

I have been going to Citrine since the first day they opened. The drinks are delicious with high quality ingredients and thoughtful preparation. The staff is also what makes this place a gem. So kind, generous and always welcoming. Thanks for being a local jewel!

Unique and beautiful cafe in the heart of Cold Spring. Amazing variety of coffee, matcha, food and beverages. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The cafe is inside the historic building that’s home to Ascend center, easy walk from the train station. I highly recommend making Citrine part of your visit!

This place is really cool! Perfect spot for a date or just chilling. I walked past it a few times but it's on the corner of rock st and main st.

This place is still the bomb! Came in here on a depressing rainy day, got my hot chocolate and I already feel better! If you are in cold spring, you MUST stop in here!

My favorite coffee shop in town!

Delicious coconut matcha drink. Also had a yummy apple pastry. The food is great with the view of the mountains. Staff is friendly and the indoor decor is warm and aesthetic.

Random visit to Cold Spring. A local merchant recommended this as a place to get a healthy “novel” lunch. My meal was absolutely delicious- did not disappoint. I met Eve, one of the owners, who was absolutely lovely. I highly recommend you visit this novel restaurant/boutique!!

Super friendly and knowledgeable. Top notch coffee, tho not in a Portlandia sort of way. Onyx Costa Rica was the No. 1 best pourover I have had ... I'll be back to see if Brad and co. can beat it.

Fantastic coffee and delicious food. They use Onyx Coffee which is top tier. Salmon and Goat cheese toast, Fig and Ricotta toast, Pesto Chicken. DELICIOUS

Love love love Citrine! Best coffee bar in cold spring and set in the the amazing Ascend Collective. A must visit.

Food was amazing and the cardamom latte was out of this world good.

What a lovely spot! I tried the rose cardamom latte (subbed cinnamon) and it was really tasty. Owners are so warm and welcoming. We’ll be back the next time we’re in town.

Citrine serves Onyx coffee, which is among my favorites and very difficult to find in the area. Baked goods are delicious too, especially the homemade gluten-free bread.

Cool new place! Finally some awesome coffee in town! Really nice staff, and quality bites and great coffee for a great deal. I’ll be coming back for more.
