City Kabob

Super nice place. If you live in Fairfax and want to support local business that’s a place to go. Kebabs are amazing and so are the sandwiches. Their falafel is really good. I ordered several plates for family gather and it was exceptional!

Food was excellent. It’s an Afghan restaurant, and the menu reflected what I expected. I had the lamb kabob, my daughter had the beef kabob. We both had a vegetarian kabobs as well. Both were spot on. I had the eggplant side, which I thought was wonderful. My daughter had the chickpea side dish. I wasn’t too thrilled by it, but she liked it. We both had baklava for dessert. Absolutely yummy. Service was great. We definitely will be going back. I highly recommend it. The restaurant itself is pretty unadorned and in a big open space, so it’s not really designed for intimate dining. But the chairs are like modern living room chairs and are very comfortable.

I started to write a negative review after discovering when arriving at the restaurant they had missed my online order, placed about 1/2 hr prior. Online = convenience and timing, so to have to wait 20 mins for the order to be cooked was a huge disappointment to say the least. HOWEVER, they were very polite the entire time and as I watched the cook make our meal, I was impressed and felt in awe to get to witness the prepping. There's way too much negatively nowadays to be nit-picking and reviewing about waiting 20min. This restaurant is extraordinary. The mix plate and shawarma sandwich we ordered was out of this world tasty and fresh. I've ordered from a ton of middle eastern eateries, these guys are at the top in pricing, options, service, and quality. Would not hesitate to order from them again. And I'm sure the mistake of not seeing my online order come is one in a hundred times.

Incredibly fresh and delicious! Even though it also has hookahs, the ventilation is fantastic, and you don't even notice the faint aroma. But the very flavorful food is the best reason to come here!

To be honest , I don’t know what to say because we have really enjoyed here with my family.
Space is super big for kids, the foods are amazing. Funny thing is they know how to make customers happy with theirs special offers and delicious foods.

I do recommend this place for everybody.

I came here before but it was totally different foods and attention but now it has changed as new design with new owners and chiefs.

Me and my family give them 5 starts and I do hope that we will definitely come back soon!!!

Great experience. Soup was excellent and the service was impeccable. The meals were wonderfully seasoned. The food took a bit longer to get out than expected but the Atmosphere was so cozy and comfy it was a pleasant experience.

I would love to give 10 stars for the food the service everything is amazing to whomever is looking for a middle eastern food I will advise this place they have the best shawarma ever .

Best hookah bar and restaurant in VA I have been to. I don’t know where to start. Hookah was perfect. Food was amazing, service was excellent. Place was very clean and comfortable. Price was reasonable. Waiters were welcoming. Everything was👌. We will be back again for sure.

The food was excellent with everything hot and fresh. The service was excellent in terms of knowing the type of food we were looking for after we described it to him which was nice.

I had a fantastic time with my wife at this place. The place is roomy, so you don't feel crowded, and the vibes are cool. The booths were really comfy and hookah was spot-on. We also enjoyed their baklava, which was sweet, nutty, and moist. We’ll definitely be back!

This place just opened up. Every one was super friendly and the food was good. I really like how large this cafe is. It’s not as cramped as other cafes so you can have larger group gatherings here!

I love it here as it feels like a place to come and wind down and sometimes get some work done as well... they also have some nice events from time to time, it creates a great atmosphere of happiness and joy!

This place has super amazing friendly stuff, one of the best kabob places in DMV. Their mix-grill is super delicious. Loved the music, and the sitting environment with amazing temperature balance. Highly recommended with friends, family or significant other.

I love hookah here, and the atmosphere is incredibly fun. The food is really tasty and always fresh. Some of the best hummus in the area, by far. The grill is also great.
