High Five Coffee

Quick stop for coffee. This is one of the best lattes I've ever had. We got the cesspool of cinnamon and the flavor is amazing. Perfectly steamed milk, house made caramel, and pretty latte art on top. Balanced ❤ Love the cozy atmosphere. They have food options too. I love the options for boiled eggs and quick protein.

The croissants are huge, coffee is very good, just make sure if you order a latte to specified if you one one shot or two of expresso since this will make a big difference ( normal is 2 and is very, very strong)

My absolute favorite coffee place downtown Asheville. I’ve tried to hit all the coffee shops downtown, and this place tops my list ever so slightly. It might not be overly excessive in any realm of coffee or foods, but it hits all the right spots perfectly for me. Open early, offers solid morning breakfast sandwiches, and the coffee/espresso is super delicious. The staff are super friendly and nice to everyone who stops in.

Right across from the parking garage to easily stop and grab coffee and go before your hour time limit is up in the garage, it’s also a super convenient location whether you’re already downtown or needing to drive through. If you’re looking for that quick morning boost, this place is great and reasonably priced.

Came on a Tuesday around noon. Reasonably priced, gender neutral restroom (only 1). Staff was kind. Cortado was great, as was the Golden Milk. Seating seems to run up quickly, but nice other than that. More tucked away on a side street. Didn’t try the food, but it looked pretty good.

Amazing coffee, unique specialty selections along with delicious breakfast options. Including a vegan creamer cheese/pimento cheese. Offers alt. Milks. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Very clean.

It is also a victim of its success with sometimes it being so busy there is little space to sit and crowding to move around. High five is the real deal!

My favorite has been, "The Storm" double espresso, hot with oatmilk and a kick of Cayenne.

Phenomenal coffee! Tried the Weather Report one day and the Vanilla Bean latte the next day. Smoothest espresso I have had in a long time. Both drinks were subtly sweet and had the perfect balance of milk, espresso, and sugar. Highly highly recommend this place. I have tried a lot of Asheville coffee spots and this one is definitely my favorite

Solid place.
I've written a lot of reviews of coffee and I'm beginning to think there are more good coffee spots than bad ones. That, or I'm just really lucky or good at finding the good ones. This place is no exception.

Tasty pastry! Highly recommend the ham & cheese croissant. My kids loved the blueberry muffins and chocolate croissants. The staff was super attentive and welcoming.

This place is PHENOMENAL! I want to say this is the best coffee house I’ve ever been to. The employees were nice too. If you’re stuck on which place to choose that will serve an AMAZING coffee to won’t regret this one. 10/10. loved it.

This place has a very good vibe. I love the decaf coffee I recommend the mocha. The place is also clean it just is a great coffee shop the place is also pretty kid friendly.

I was visiting in Asheville and the hotel concierge suggested this place for coffee and it was OUTSTANDING! I got the Cesspool of Cinnamon and it was so good I got a second and then came back the following day before I left town. The staff was super friendly and accommodated my special request. The shop itself is cute and has plenty of seating. There were great pieces of art decorating the place, many of which were for sale. I wish I lived here and could make this my go-to coffee shop!

Excellent coffee house! Great beans and solid coffee all around. Great place to work from.

Stopped in on a whim this morning and we're so glad we did! The baristas were so knowledgeable and even humored my husband by giving him some latte art lessons! The drinks were most delicious to boot!

Had my 1st experience at High Five coffee, in downtown Asheville, today.
5 stars across the board, and wished I would have gotten over here sooner. I ordered both the Cubana & the Diablo, as well as a "medicine ball" and their sweet scone.

The Cubana is a 8oz Americano with 2oz half & half. Seasoned with raw sugar & sea salt. It tastes mild, smooth & sweet with an *almost honey aftertaste.

The Diablo is 8oz Americano with 2oz half & half. It has raw honey, sea salt, cinnamon, & cayenne. It definitely has a cinnamon taste, with a mild kick from the cayenne.

The sweet scone had hints of all spice and chocolate chips. It was a nice pallet cleanser between the 2 coffees. ☕☕

The medicine ball has a coconut oil fudge flavor in the middle, that will melt on your tongue.

Go drop if next time you are downtown!!

Worth the 2 hour drive!!!!!! Sooooooooo good, unique flavor, is like an elegant flavor that you will only experience there. Coffee with sea salt anyone???? You must try this place, 10 out 5 stars!! Not to mention the warming welcome and super friendly staff❤.

Top notch cortado and accompanying hot chocolate for my boy. Really pleasantly surprised at the espresso quality here. Will come again. Kids enjoyed the choc chip cookie also.

Great espresso in a slightly hidden spot. Cool location with high tables and a La Marzocco machine! Definitely would try again. Love there sign describing the espresso drinks!
