Pier View Coffee Co

I came to this coffee shop two times and had their great latte. James greeted us and made two lattes for me and my husband. We enjoyed the ambiance and our coffee very much. James said they open the store in 2006.

Downtown Oceanside is full of coffee spots but I would say this is one of my favorites. My number two would be Campfire Coffee. Pier view has a great location with street parking both free and paid, with a very short walk to the pier and beach. The view from the coffee shop is great with lots of good people watching . Seating and decor inside works really well, with black and white photos of the original Oceanside. They have a good selection of bagels and breakfast pastries. But I come here for the iced coffee and Lattes. Both are exceptional and the price is right for the area. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Even when they’re packed we don’t wait too long for drinks. They also have gelato and beer/wine on happy hour. Cheers!

Great coffee with seasonal drinks, breakfast sandwiches and pastries.

This cafe has outdoor seating just a quick jaunt from the beautiful, scenic Oceanside pier. The spinach in their begal breakfast sandwich was plentiful and fresh, and the bacon was crispy.

I have always wanted to go here when I lived in Oceanside but due to certain circumstances I never got to. Got to check this out while visiting shortly and found that it is a great little spot. Had a breakfast sandwhich and a smoothie. Both were fresh and tasty. Back when I live un town you could actually see the pier, buy things have changed with the booming of housing. Still, this is a great spot to go to.

Adorable atmosphere, and very good danishes!! The iced coffee is more like a frap, so more on the sweet side. But very still tasty. And if you’re at sunset market, this is a good place to get water!

Cozy spot for working and enjoying some special and local handcrafted coffee.

This is me and my good friends go to spot for coffee and conversation. Super cozy, friendly and efficient staff. I feel they earn more tips than what I've seen in their little jar but I am all for tipping for great service.

We found this cute store today. They were out of mango gelato unfortunately. We did get scoops of mocha rum and strawberry. Both were delicious. The staff was very polite. We would visit again! They have lots of types of food. We only did dessert today.

Got the white chocolate mocha...DELICIOUS!! Parked like 3 blocks away and got to see some idyllic beach side scenery on the walk there. The interior was super cute a d the art decorating the menu and walls was so cool...like classic beach town paintings of aquatic wildlife that add to the seaside vibe perfectly.

Love their coffee and teas. I'm not a vegan but they have the best vegan cookies. Great service as well

This is a great spot to work or study by the beach. Although you don't have a view of the ocean anymore due to all the new highs rise buildings, it's still a great spot to bring a laptop and take in the ocean breeze.

I had a delicious caramel coconut roast hot coffee, really uncrowded and interesting atmosphere with lots of curios to look at

This is my go to coffee shop when I visit San Diego. It is so cute. It has great coffee and food to enjoy while working or watching people go by. Can't wait to go back.

Great small business with a good coffee and pastry selection. The menu has more to offer, but I haven’t yet taken that opportunity. The vibe is nice. Staff is cool. It’s a great spot to relax and people watch.

Awesome breakfast sandwiches--we went here two mornings in a row, had the Perfect Breakfast Sandwich first morning, and tried another one the next day. (can't recall the name!) Both were awesome. Delicious coffee! Highly recommended.

Great customer service. I have been there a few times. The coffee and the teas are amazing. I do have to say it's a little bit pricey. I want to try their happy hour. r

Massive sandwiches of excellent build and quality. I came in hungry and had leftovers. Their coffee is good too and the ambiance is nice here. Service was quick and friendly
