This was an amazing experience! Wonderful service, extremely friendly staff, delicious lavender latte and yummy sticky bun! I am so excited to have discovered this place! I can not wait to go again!

I love coming here for multiple reasons:

Coffee here in the mornings is good and I can focus on my work in a comfortable environment. I do some of my work on my laptop and feel this is a great place to do that.

For dinner, the food is delicious! You pay for what you get here. The quality is very good. I recently had the wings and they were fantastic.

I’ve come here for a beer or cocktail every once in a while too. They have a nice porch so you can enjoy the weather as well.

If you’ve been thinking about trying this place and haven’t yet, you’re missing out! Give them a try and you won’t regret it. You’ll wish you had gone sooner in fact.

Great little spot! Good food, the bagel was a little greasy but I asked for bacon 🥓 🙃.

Friendly service and a floor plan that was super accommodating. I sat at the bar and had house coffee.

Clean bathroom and it appears this place turns into a bar at night.

Wifi was a little spotty and slow, It could be because of the rain.

They normally have water you can stay hydrated with and various condiments are available to compliment the meals.

Coffee was delicious 😋

Lovely little place that we just happened to stop at for a quick coffee on our way to downtown. Seemed like a neighborhood spot with a lot of locals. Great menu and service!

Coffee shop, eatery, bakery, bar - they seemingly do all of these things very well. The cappuccino was just the right bitter to foam ratio. Vast selection of teas. Homemade fresh pastries and granola along with sandwiches rounds out the food menu. Great place to visit for friendly service and good food and drink.

There are plenty of good coffee shops in Asheville however if you’re looking for a great one look no further. Limited parking may be the hardest part. Everything else though fantastic. From the breakfast sandwiches to infused lavender iced mochas you’ll be happy you stopped by. Plenty of seating inside with separate rooms and a large bar area. Also a fair amount of patio seating both in front and back. Group favorites include egg cheddar smoked bacon sandwhich and really any of the fresh baked goods.

Love this place. Great breakfast and coffee spot. Had their quiche and spinach pastry, which was amazing. Found out they have dinner, which was exceptional as well. Compliments to the chef! Will definitely be back for both the great customer service and food!

Great atmosphere, great food, some gluten free options, and great coffee. Need I say more? We were not disappointed, and I highly recommend!

Very cute spot. Decor is fun but elegant, almost feels like a friend's living room. Good coffee and chai and pastries. If this place was downtown or in WAVL or RAD it would be packed all the time. I am grateful it isn't because it's become my fave spot for coffee and a snack while working or studying. Haven't been at night yet but I love the concept. Drink menu looks fantastic and look forward to grabbing a cocktail. Will update!

Wonderful place. The food was delicious and the service was great. The place is charming and cozy. We had a vegetable wrap and a veggie stuffed baguette accompanied with an oat latte and a fruit smoothie. We highly recommend this spot. Lots of vegetarian options.

Passing by the enticing facade several times throughout our vacation we could resist it no more! Got pastries to go for a shared birthday celebration, and they truly had something for everyone. So delicious! Especially enamored with the lemon chiffon cheesecake! 😋

Fantastic spot for gourmet dinner at a reasonable price!

After several frustrating restaurant experiences in Asheville (2 hr waits, etc) we had the good fortune of meeting Josh, the bar manager of Filo/Post 70 at another Asheville haunt. He assured us that he could make reservations for us at his restaurant (rare for Asheville) for the next evening, and described their menu (rack of lamb, braised short rib, lobster mac and cheese, etc). We gladly took him up on the opportunity. He did not disappoint!

Josh had a uniquely charming table ready for us and suggested some great wine and cocktails to start. We enjoyed his refreshing enthusiasm, professionalism, and menu knowledge so much that we ordered 6 different appetizers / entrees. They were all fabulous! The mushroom risotto and short rib over over farro were both to die for, as were the wings (jumbo, homemade sauce) and lobster mac and cheese (generous lobster, great consistency!). The rack of lamb was perfectly medium rare, and the chef came to the table to introduce himself. The friendly owner even served one of the courses himself.

Overall, a 5++ star experience at very good value for travelers hungry for a top notch experience. This visually appealing and service-oriented restaurant has a true gem in Josh and their chef, and we'll be making several reservations for Post 70 for our next trip to the Asheville area. Thanks for everything Josh!!

Still amazing. I tried their egg and cheese croissant today and it was killer. The scramble was perfectly soft without being undercooked. A total deal for $6. Their iced chai is also very good - flavorful without being too sweet.

Their sweet little patio area in the back is great for a lazy breakfast hang. Birds, flowers, and sun peeking through the trees. What more could you want?

Delicious, fresh, great staff, and inexpensive. I walked out of there with one pre-wrapped pimento cheese deli sandwich (pictured), one stuffed croissant, an amazing molasses cookie, and a drink, for $14.
The fact that the deli sandwich wasn't made to order and the veggies were still SO fresh and crisp, and the mayo hadn't made the bread soggy is remarkable.
I've only ever ordered from the case, so I can't speak to their menu, but everything I've ever had from the case has been stellar. I'm not usually a cookie person, but their cookies are excellent.

We discovered the place by accident but were very happy that we did so. They serve very good breakfast, we got the perfect strength for our roadtrip ahead. We had the everything bagel, one with feta cheese and the other with smoked bacon. The cappuccinos are also good.

Walk up and step into a castle in Asheville, NC. That is what is feels like to open the door and enter Filo. I had the double espresso macchiato with caramel. It was the perfect afternoon pick me up. This is not Starbucks! Filo also features a full bar. Most of the baked goods are homemade. There are several gluten free options. In the evening it’s a wine bar with craft cocktails and small plates. The house was full with people in line during the mid afternoon. Throughout the facility are separate tables and quite spaces to talk, work, or study. It’s the perfect coffee shop. You literally feel like you’re sitting in someone’s luxurious but cozy castle home! Way to go Maria and team! You’ve got a hit happening right here. Go and ask the staff to let you ride on the sliding bar ladder. Talk about a nice and unique feature! Check out and like my photos. Let me know what you think! It’s located right off the Blue Ridge Parkway on Tunnel Road in Asheville, North Carolina. Biltmore Estate is nearby. It’s less than 1 mile from I-40. Take the exit! You’ll love Filo!

I love Filo! I live right up the road and have never had bad anything. Some people need to understand. Filo...like many other eateries is short on help and deserve a break and need more help to get your food!

Absolutely fantastic. Depression set in when we found out they won't be open for us to return tomorrow, but here's hoping we can get back for Monday. Best coffee joint my wife and I have ever stumbled upon. Good drinks, good pastries, awesome ambience!!

Super cute place, the employee was sooo friendly and welcoming! The croissant was delicious and perfectly baked, crispy on the outside and buttery and soft on the inside with the perfectly baked bottom. And the baklava latte was SUCH a treat! What a wonderful creation! Had a great time- it was clean and friendly! We will definitely be back!!!
