I popped in because the display out front was very cute, despite my lack of sewing skills. There are racks of clothing that have already been embellished with embroidery or patches, or fringe, and other adornments to choose from easily. Or if you want to create your own piece like I did, Karmen has racks of plain quality pieces. The first item I picked up and tried on was an aubergine chore jacket that fit perfectly! I then selected 2 patches out of the many options, and Karmen sewed Morris, my new giraffe friend, on the back after we selected a spot together. I kept shopping down Biltmore Ave and came back when I was done, long after she was finished affixing Morris to my new-to-me jacket. I also selected a small quilted patch with 3 foxes on it that will serve as my first tiny sewing project, I want to put the foxes on a front pocket.

Karmen curated a unique shopping and creative expression experience. With her sewing and design expertise, we were able to create a unique, up cycled fabric collage that I will be using for wall art in my home. A true Asheville gem.

I was visiting Asheville in December and originally popped into this shop because a window planter had caught my eye. And thank god I did because I was even more excited to see Karmen's concept of DIY patchwork hand-sewn onto upcycled clothing. I ended up walking out with that planter and a one-of-a-kind shirt I now live in. Fun, beautiful, unique - I'm so in love with it. Thank you Karmen for all of your patience as I sorted through my creative juices to design this. Can't wait to come back for round 2!!

If you want a one of kind piece of clothing, this is the place to go! Karmen is super creative, professional and friendly! She definitely has an eye for fashion and uniqueness! I love everything she creates!

A lovely space and a great selection of premade items, but the real star of the show is assembling your article yourself!
