I took classic guitar lessons as a kid; years later I started playing again and Santiago has been a great teacher. He is very patient, knowledgeable, and very well versed in jazz, rock, pop, metal and classic music so it has been a joy to practice and talk about music with him. He explains music theory in a simple way, and the exercises are challenging but fun. I have done lots of YouTube guitar lesson videos and after having individual classes with Santiago, I can say that the advancements in my playing are notorious vs the online videos, if you put the time and practice daily, a guitar teacher is the way to go.

He has a deep understanding of music theory, technique, and the instrument itself, and he is able to convey this knowledge in a way that's both engaging and understandable. Santiago has been the best guitar teacher ever! I came in with no ability to play the guitar whatsoever and after a couple lessons with him I became super comfortable and improved the few songs I knew tenfold. He’s everything you could want in a teacher!
