I wanted to change my family plan to individual.. but because the prepay month has run out.. I called boost who instructed me to go to store.. upon entering the marumsco store, I heard a voice hiding behind a computer.. how can I help you?...I went counter and saw a heavy set foreign guy on the phone.. he asked what did I want and I explained. Without hesitation he said he couldn't do it..I said on line told me to come here.. I said account was suspended and he said pay the bill.. THIS IS PREPAY!! I asked him to call boost ..he said no pay your bill.. I left and went up the street to another boost retailer who help me in less than 15 mins..
I have worked in retail over 25 years.. Never have I seen worst customer service..

Terrible customer service and scams customers! I was lied to & told it was necessary to add & pay for additional equipment when I chose the free phone. I was also lied to & told my service would be activated within 4hrs but 3 days later I still didn't have service. After being disgusted with the experience I requested a refund & was told to just come in to receive it only to be told that they didn't do refunds when I arrived. I demanded & eventually received a refund. I went to another Boost Mobile up the street & that's when I found out I had been scammed with those bogus charges & additional equipment. I took a picture of my receipt before turning the equipment back in for proof.

The date is Sunday 11/19/2017. Store opens up at 10am, I got there at 1015 and door was locked. I looked inside and saw two females who made eye contact with me and completely ignored me. I waited another 10 mins outside the door in the cold and then knocked on the door, again they looked up at me and still ignored me. Even if they weren't open and I was there at the wrong time, why couldn't you acknowledge my existence? I'm a local business owner and it's a true shame that you treat your customers with such disrespect. How is this store still operating? Definitely will drive the extra distance to dale city and give them my business (which is 15+ lines I intend to buy for my small business) 1.5 star rating really makes sense now and I'd give it 0 stars if I could. Hopefully they can figure out their issues, I don't want to see a failing business because of something so simple as customer service. Good luck to the owner!

Disrespsctful staff ! WHO THE HELL ALOWED THEM TO WORK THERE ? Someone called me & hung up on my face from this store / number and since i have called back 6 times the first 2 times they picked up and hung up on my face , the other 4 times they have not picked up. I no longer wish to continue my service with boost mobile. This is not ok and judging by the other reviews clearly this store and management has ISSUES .
