Went in for the first time today. Sonny was very knowledge and down to earth! He even offered to shuck out oysters when he heard me tell my husband I wanted some but didn’t want to do it myself LoL

We will definitely be back!

I'm officially in love with this fish! I don't normally like fish but occasionally force myself to because it's so healthy. I've only lived in Dearborn for a few days and just happened by this place, so i stopped in, thinking i would find something mild to take home and grill. To my surprise they not only sell, fillets, whole fish and shellfish, but also prepared dinners! I was so happy because i didn't want my place to wreak of fish. Speaking of, the place was so clean! It didn't smell fishy at all! When i asked what had the least fishy flavor, the man cooking recommended the Lake Perch for a mild flavor and, to my astonishment, it was AMAZING!! It is by far the best fish I've ever tasted! The only thing I've found that comes close is in Israel on the Mediterranean Sea and i think this may have even been better!
Local, clean, well-priced, nice sized portions, and absolutely delicious!! I will actually go treat myself to fish now instead of having to force feed it to myself. All this for $11!! You've got to try it!

Not your average "you buy we fry". This place has stood the test of time. Great staff, great service and great food. My absolute all time favorite place to get fish. The lake perch dinner is my favorite. If you haven't tried them you need to, bottom line.

All the fish is fresh, also the fried dinners are great, tasty and is considered a big portion

My husband called the day before Thanksgiving to see if they sell boxes of oysters and I am so happy they did. They are nice medium size oysters too. So so good especially with the spicy chili sauce. And yes it is cooked.

This place is a gem and if you have time stop in you’ll only need about 5 minutes . The fish is excellent the service is great. I received a cup of soup while I waited. There was no nasty fish smell. I’ll absolutely be back. This place is on Schaefer

I drive 45 minutes to get to this market. Freshest seafood for miles!
Clean shop and excellent service!

Stopped in for lunch. They have a solid variety of different fix options for lunch. The scallops and trout were excellent. It came with fries and coleslaw.

If you need to buy fresh fish to cook at home, this is your place. Everything was nicely displayed and looked very fresh.

It is just south of Michigan Ave on Schafer. There is free parking right next to the market. Enjoy!

My grandpa Norm always takes me here when we want fish dinners and it's always so fresh and the batter is DELICIOUS. I love supporting local Dearborn restaurants/businesses and this place has so many options for fresh fish and seafood. We will always come here when we want fish it's a place you really stick to once you try it

I eat at this place once a week very clean and the guys are great thank you.

Excellent place to shop for seafood and fish. Very short Sunday hours but I'm glad they were open. Very friendly and knowledgeable with fair prices. They also have oils spices and batter... everything you will need. Even fresh lemons...

Always a great experience at the Fish Market. Why get your house smelling like fried fish when you can have them prepare it to your liking. If you are looking for a specific fish they will more than likely carry it.

Great place and will definitely be back. The guy took care of us from the start. Fresh and great tasting. Hard to find a place like this in 2023.
