They have good coffee ☕ and a nice tea selection. I love the avocado toast with cucumber, tomatoes, and feta. They have outdoor and indoor seating. Very cute shop next door.

Ordered a mushroom empanada (no cheese, has caramelized onions), chai latte, and Mexican hot chocolate for here (however the drinks came in to-go cups). Received a 12oz chai latte instead of 16oz, so cashier was kind enough to let us choose a pastry from the display. We went with a slice of banana bread.

Was a bit confused because we were asked to take a number but walked up to the counter to grab both our drinks and food.

This is a great place to have a coffee, some delicious food snd soak up the good atmosphere, or just watch the world go by. Parking is a little tight, but apart from that, it’s a great spot. We had brunch here, the breakfast burritos with the tomato salsa was excellent… not too big and not all tortilla either. The caprese sandwich was huge and very tasty too. The weekend mornings here are crazy so expect a wait… but it’s worth it

What a cute coffee & bakery in Encinitas! I know they have multiple locations in San Diego and this location probably is my fav. The building is very impressive which was built in 1888, and it was very well designed. You can enjoy a nice breakfast or lunch at their patio or balcony under sunshine. Their foods are nice too, I had a lox bagel plate and my friend had a chicken sandwich. Both of us enjoyed the meal. I recommend this cute place for sure.

Our AirBnB was literally behind the Pannikin, and the Coffee and Tea house was a premium delight. Their coffee, tea, and pastries are award winning only to be amplified with a deep and rich history, stunning architecture, and wholesome service.

Such a cute brunch place! You have to stand in line (and there’s a line but it’s fast moving) and order and pay. You get the drinks and pastries right away and they bring the food to your table. We ordered the huevos rancheros, Greek eggs, Veggie pann-wich and the spinach mushroom quiche. Everything was delicious, the weakest being the huevos. The granola with fruit and yogurt was good too. The almond danish was to die for. The jalapeño cheese scone was a bit dry and was just ok. The coffee and cappuccino were very good. Service was fast and there were plenty of tables. I wish there was more shade. And they definitely need to do something about the flies. They were relentless and swarming. I recommend the restaurant gets the flytraps on Amazon.

Great place to get a cup of coffee and a tasty pastry (there are so many delicious options!) in a really neat old train station building. Enjoyed a morning studying at one of the many tables available when I was in town for a weekend. Liked the coffee so much I bought some of their Blue Sky roast to take home (they roast their own beans downstairs!). This will be my new place to get a bite and drink to eat in the morning when I visit.

Amazing place with good atmosphere! My mom has been going here ever since she was a teenager. They have great baked goods and I love their coffee, it is really fresh and the service is really good. Haven’t been in a while but it was nice to revisit, I love the old building it is in.

Delicious! I liked the pastries, and their breakfast is fun. The gluten free options are yummy for those who don't eat gluten. It's in an old train station, with tons of atmosphere!

I drive 30min just to come here for their coffee and gf lemon poppyseed muffins. Great, open atmosphere with local artwork - and the coffee is always good. Highly recommend. If you go on a weekend day, expect a line out the door!

Awesome coffees and pastries. We go there every time we are in the area from Orange County. My wife actually drove there just to get me a rhubarb pie for my birthday. I gotta say... It was freakin delicious. Such a cool historic place. We love it.

Wow. The huveos rancheros were perfect. The salsa wasn't hot but they have different heat levels. Coffee, just right and not too sweet. I recommend you sit outside in the morning to get a little sun and enjoy the start of your day.

Nice local place for a morning cup of joe or tea. Very laid back atmosphere; friendly, relaxing and busy, busy, busy; which is great to see post-pandemic shutdown.
Pacific Coast Highway has hundred of gems like “The Pannikin” along its route. Take time to find them and post them. Looking forward to returning soon for a refill and chatting with the locals.
