Yiayia's Cafe

This cafe was right across the street for our motel and became my breakfast spot during our trip to Newport. They have great iced coffee and very fresh food. I had multiple meals but would highly recommend the omelet and home fries. The fruit was fresh. Most importantly, the food wasn’t heavy and the staff was accommodating to my allergies. The young waitress was also very nice.

Delicious food, beautiful ambiance and most importantly great hospitality. Haley was friendly, personable and attentive and the owner Lecza was very welcoming and cheerful. If you are looking to travel to the Greek, Mediterranean shores through your taste buds this a the place to go. Enjoy!

So pleased with Yiayia’s Cafe. The food is so incredibly fresh and delicious. The service is perfect and the atmosphere is calm and relaxing. We had avocado toast and Yiayia’s homemade Greek yogurt. 10/10

I absolutely love this local cafe and lodging place. Can’t say I’ve slept here but sure will share with family when they visit. I have eaten here a few times and am writing this review because I have found the most noteworthy menu item here - and I ate every bit of it!!! Sooo delicious! The menu is loaded with American fare but also legitimate Greek culinary specialities which are prepared exceptionally well! After dining on the greet meatball pita for brunch today — I’m sold! Coffee was hot, porch inviting and service was excellent! I wasn’t rushed, was greeted warmly and enjoyed the comfort of home dining but outside my home! This was a perfect late morning retreat that will keep my
Body — and mind satisfied all day.

Excellent authentic Greek food. We went for lunch and had a gyro and a Mediterranean panini with side salad of watermelon and feta. The homemade desserts are amazing. They are located in the Sea Breeze Inn. You can sit out on the deck and look out over the pond.
Our server was excellent and the price was very reasonable.

I got the vanilla cream iced coffee which was delicious. The prices were very reasonable and the staff was very friendly. 10/10 would recommend.

It is a cozy place with good Greek coffee and baklava.

Wonderful breakfast spot with excellent food and with a warm welcoming atmosphere. We come here about twice a month and our crew of 6 is always treated like family. The kids (all under age 8) are always doted on and are constantly asking to go back. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, clean place for breakfast with smiles near First Beach.

Came for lunch and it was so good! We got the tuna melt wrap, green salad, and veggie burger! We loved all of it. Best salad dressing I’ve ever had

I had the fortunate experience of visiting this café today and let's just say everything was amazing!! The clam chowder was fresh and my gyro tasted as if the food GOD himself made it. Not to mention how clean the place was along with the friendly staff. This place will definitely go on my steady rotation list.

Outstanding. The family who own this Inn and restaurant could not be kinder or more welcoming👍😀 The food here is delicious!!! The entire establishment is spotless and beautifully decorated. They even have a lovely garden -- which I am sure finds it's way into their delish food🌸 can't wait to go back!!!😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀

I'm not sure how to pronounce the name of the restaurant, but I can pronounce the food outstanding. The menu features several Greek dishes as well as traditional breakfast fare. At our table we had both adults and children. Everyone enjoyed the items we ordered. The kids are until they could eat no more. When that's true, I know the food is great for the most discriminating palate. Thanks to the staff for a nice meal.

This is a great little restaurant. The food is so fresh and delicious. We had grilled Chicken with lemon baked potatoes and brown rice and accompanied by the best tzatziki I've ever had.
The Greek chicken rice soup was great.
The owner is so friendly and welcoming.

The ladies that work here (Maria and Liza) are so sweet and make you feel right at home. The crepes were airy, light, and crispy. The grape leaves tasted so fresh and authentic. It’s located inside the Inn and it’s cozy, clean, and relaxing.

Breakfast was very good. I Cannot say anything bad. Will be back when I get back ☺

The other night my wife and I had dinner at YiaYia’s Café, and it was one of the most memorial dinners we ever had in Newport County (we are locals and try to visit different restaurants in the area). They just started serving Dinner and the food is amazing. The menu is authentic Greek cuisine which was great. I had the Greek Lasagna (please don’t make me spell the name or pronounce it!) beside butchering the name the dish as 5 stars… My wife had the Lamb Chops and she didn’t want to share any of it, it was that good. The owners are long time locals that where so nice they made us feel like family. It is BYOB so go get a nice bottle of wine and visit YiaYia for a great night out.
