Chaunie’s Coffee

Can’t believe I just found this hidden gem not far off of Thompson Street! One of the few coffee shops open at 7 am with a variety of coffee/espresso based drinks, hot cocoa bar, and breakfast tacos.

Got a dirty chai and egg/cheese burrito - both of which were MUCH tastier than the big name chain shops.

Mimi, the barista, was also super sweet and told me you can order ahead on their website making it a super convenient coffee/breakfast run.

My husband and I stopped here on our way out of town and loved our experience. The ladies working the truck were delightful and so friendly. I’ve always enjoyed how Asheville prides themselves in local businesses. They knew their customers names, drink orders, and seem to really care about their customers. I got the honey lavender latte and my husband got a peppermint hot chocolate. Both were delicious. Definitely returning next time we come to town!

Absolutely phenomenal! Atmosphere was amazing and MiMi made the experience even better. We are trying all the places while we are on our honeymoon here in NC. Hands down the best we have had yet. Plus the tacos!!!!!

Service with a smile! They're super friendly and the drinks are delicious. I love that the oatmilk and syrups are homemade. The CBD floaters are unique, and I love it! The Illustrator is my new favorite (cold brew with lavender & CBD floaters)! It is definitely along the pricier side for coffee but it is made with great quality ingredients and excellent customer service.

Do you love amazing breakfast tacos? Do you love incredible coffee? If the answer is yes to either, stop reading this review and head on over for a great breakfast and friendly service. Picnic tables with umbrellas, water, and a small pet area will be there for you, too. Asheville’s food truck gem!

Chaunie’s Coffee is awesome! The best kept secret in Asheville. They make their own syrups for flavored drinks. The breakfast tacos are delicious. Mi-mi and Nan (?) are really great at what they do and make each visitor feel welcome. I hope they get so busy that they “have” to get a brick & mortar location downtown where everyone can enjoy their menu every morning. The truck location has a cool vibe, but I can’t wait to see what they do with their own place to decorate.

Great place to come to in the morning to have an excellent cup of coffee. Hot or cold, the coffee is great. Oh and did I mention the fantastic breakfast tacos. And to top it off, they love dogs 🐕 ❤

Chaunie’s not only has delicious coffee and killer breakfast tacos, but also the best service. Chauntel and Mimi are so personable and make the already wonderful experience even better! We are visiting the area and it will definitely be top on our list when we come back!!

We had a day trip in Asheville and searched Google for "coffee near me." The results returned Chaunie's Coffee and we decided to give it a go. So glad we did. What's not to like... Personable hosts? Yup. Secret menu? Yup. Breakfast tacos? Yup. Handmade provisions? Yup. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a local business rather than a national chain - You'll be happy you did.

We look forward to visiting again on a return trip...

Stopped by this great coffee & breakfast taco truck and we were very happy with our choice! Matcha, lattes, espresso, CBD floaters, tacos - everything was yummy. Even my picky toddler loved it. The owner/baristas are fantastic to boot. Give this place a try, you won’t be disappointed!

After searching many coffee spots on our fly-by trip through Asheville, we came across Chaunie’s. The coffee is delicious, my little one said the lemonade is “sweet, yet sour and still cold 2 hours later, way better than at home” and Chaunie is the nicest human being. Stop there and only there on your trip through Asheville!

Huge fan! Super nice workers, best chai and dirty chai I've ever had - it's amazing! 10/10 would recommend! They also have the cutest outdoor seating area, so perfect for a coffee rendezvous with friends or your significant other.

Really good coffee, super chill people. They make all their flavors in-house. I've never had something here that I wouldn't order again. There's a nice sitting area too. I wish they were open every day, but they deserve a break. I am a loyal fan.

So cozy! The gal's are super friendly and creative! Love the overall vibe. They seem to have a steady stream of regulars, also friendly. The breakfast and Matcha tea were SO delicious! Highly recommend! Definitely will return.

Best in town. Great hearts 💕 as well. Visited my brother in the hospital a regular in the morning for his hot chocolate.
