Smyrna Cafe

We were a bit skeptical walking in to the cafe since we were the only ones eating but figured that we were at a breakfast place at 4:30 on a Sunday lol. But the food we ordered was AMAZING! The host was very hospitable and friendly. I ordered the Hot Chicken and Waffles and it was juicy, spicy, and fresh! So delicious!!! Would definitely come back!

Thoroughly enjoyed the food! We’ve been looking for a breakfast place that doesn’t taste like the food came out of a package and we finally found one. It’s our new go to breakfast place! Everything we ordered taste homemade and fresh. I don’t usually like potatoes but theirs were excellent! The owners are friendly and service is fast. Not to prices are reasonable.

We were looking for a place to eat and found this delicious spot. The food does not disappoint! The staff is very friendly and the service was great!

We've been wanting to try this place for a while, and finally stopped in.

Walking into the place, we were the only customers there at dinner time on a weekday night. Not a good sign. Hopefully it wasn't because of the food!

I ordered the Hot Chicken sandwich, got the Corned Beef Hash for the wife, and Pancakes for the kiddo (available all day long).

The chicken on the sandwich was abviosly beaten out, because it was thinner, but larger than a normal chicken sandwich. Overall, the heat was decent, and the sandwich was delicious. I really liked their fries as well.

Wife enjoyed the corned beef hash, and took about 1/2 home to have the next day!

The pancakes were large, like dinner plate sized! The kiddo enjoyed them.

I'm guessing the reason for low attendance is just marketing/advertising. The food was good, the cook and our server were the husband & wife owners of the place, and they were very friendly throughout. So, the only thing left is advertising; people actually knowing about this place.

I would definitely recommend checking them out!

A true hidden gem!
I've lived in the area for nearly a year and never knew Smyrna Cafe existed. The service was truly gracious. The corned beef hash was delicious and obviously home made. The breakfast potatoes were crispy on the outside, fluffy in the middle. Nothing was greasy. I will definitely return!

I had my second visit to Smyrna Cafe today. I meant to leave a 5-star review after my first visit, and it slipped my mind.

I absolutely love this place. First, the people there are so friendly and kind. I always love a place that makes you feel welcome and like old friends when you visit, and that's what you'll get here.

Next, the food is delicious! That country fried steak today was so fresh and the with best, crispy exterior! The mashed potatoes are the best of any restaurant I can think of, and the meatloaf we had on our first visit was also fantastic.

Many of us are looking for something different than the countless chain restaurants that saturate our area. If that is you and you appreciate comfort food and kind people, you really need to visit Smyrna Cafe.

Excellent breakfast items. Great for families. The food was hot, portions were worth the price and the service made me remember what customer service should look like.

Just moved here and had to try out this cafe and WOW! The owners, servers, cooks were all soooo nice, quick service and the food was INCREDIBLE! Must try it. We will be regulars moving forward!

We had the eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, crunchy French toast, coffee and potatoes!

I had the Chicken Alfredo Pasta dish and it is AMAZING! The sauce is so creamy and flavorful! & also had the Jalapeño 🍔- it brings the heat but just enough and it’s still enjoyable! Can’t wait to come back!

Lunch was delicious and the service was wonderful! You can tell the owner really cares about his business and his customers. He came out and talked to us and gave us recommendations. The food came out quick and the prices were very reasonable.

I wish I had taken pictures of the food! Excellent!!! I had the omelet and my man had the breakfast burrito. Large portions, and the potatoes that came with the meal were so good! The coffee was amazing, they grind their own beans and no bitterness at all. We will be visiting again. Thanks for the amazing food and conversation with the owner!

Our breakfast this morning was the best we have had in Smyrna since we’ve been here. I had the eggs Benedict which is a weekend special and it was special, delicious and worth the drive. Family owned business and inviting, everyone works hard and treats us as special friends. It’s a nice hidden gem, try it out.

Stopped by today on the way home from Nashville and decided to give this place a try. Food was hot and fresh, and our server was incredibly attentive. Had a great experience and wish this local business continued success! Hope to come back again!

Had the most delicious breakfast - Eggs Benedict, which was the special.
Best I’ve ever had. My dad and I scarfed it down before we could even take a picture.

Fantastic experience. Had the Reuben sandwich. Homemade for sure, and my wife had the corned beef hash.

My wife had picked me up from the airport in Nashville and every breakfast eatery was packed. We found this place on google and thought we would give it a shot. Wow. I had the shrimp and grits not only was the portion more than any normal human should be able to eat it was delicious. My wife had the eggs Benedict she said they were great also. We will be back to try the burgers and support this family ran business.

Listed a 4 bedroom rental in Smyrna today and stopped in at the Smyrna Cafe for lunch. My husband Robert N. Hoff had an excellent Jambalaya with a good spicy flavor. I had Nashville Hot chicken tender salad. Good burn delicious flavor. Great hidden jewel.

We love Smyrna Cafe! Today I had the corned beef hash and my husband had the meatloaf! So delicious and home cooked! My kids love the chicken and waffles! Eggs Benedict are great too! All around a great place! The man and women working here are always so friendly and welcoming! They’re the best! We’ve never had a bad experience here!
