Kevin was exemplary. I stopped by to mail a package. When I left, my car would not start (28 degrees). Kevin saw me with the car’s hood up and came out in the cold to offer assistance. Unfortunately, car would not start. Later, I tried again, and again Kevin came out to assist. He was polite and friendly at all times. If I owned a business I would want someone like Kevin to work with me. He was outstanding. Thank you Kevin !

My husband and I needed to have documents notarized that required 2 witnesses. We called and set up an appt and then called to see if we could arrive earlier and they ensured they had two people there to witness and everyone was very friendly and helpful.

I recently visited The UPS Store to send a book and a keychain to Connecticut, and my experience was nothing short of exceptional. The service I received was an absolute 10/10.

First and foremost, I want to give a huge shout-out to Najia and Hafasa, who went above and beyond to provide me with the best assistance possible. They helped me choose the most suitable shipping plan and made sure every detail was taken care of. Their expertise and guidance were invaluable.

As a student on a tight budget, I mentioned my financial constraints, and to my surprise, they didn't charge me for the packing service. This act of kindness truly made a difference in my day. It's not often that you come across such thoughtful and accommodating staff.

The best part of it all? The delivery was a complete success! My package reached its destination in Connecticut without a hitch.

I am reading the reviews and I conclude that I am not the only one that I had the same horrible experience in this UPS. When I asked a simple (and probably dumb) question to an employer named Nicole (according to my receipt), I received an unnecessary and very rude response, just because I wanted to make sure about the delivery address. I was wondering if you guys have any problems/ issues receiving people from different countries/ backgrounds in your store ... We are in 2024, remember that.

I had a devastating experience after I made the mistake of trusting a fragile and expensive heirloom item to the staff at this store. I'll save you the details and just say this: if you do business here, you are on your own. Neither the franchise owner nor UPS Stores will accept responsibility if there is an issue with your shipment or your transaction. They are not associated with, or backed by, UPS. Call UPS and ask - the first thing they tell you is they are NOT responsible for anything that happens in a UPS Store.

The staff here is untrained. Their mistake will be your loss. Double check EVERYTHING. Read the CONTRACT they are having you sign (and not telling you about) when you pay. Keep excellent records and document EVERYTHING. If they try to give you a receipt that is incorrect, MAKE THEM CORRECT IT. Don't be nice. They won't be nice to you when they mess up.

As far as the "Pack and Ship Guarantee", I paid a premium for them to pack my item in their own packaging and it was not labeled as FRAGILE, or, apparently, handled with any care, and it was destroyed. The "Guarantee" is just words - MAKE ABSOLUTELY SURE YOU BUY THE EXTRA INSURANCE!!!

Or, better still, just go somewhere else.

This place is an absolute scam!!! If you prefer not to be cheated, find another UPS nearby. Most horrible UPS experience twice: this seemingly kind and chatty lady will chat you up and add multiple items and charges without informing. She starts pressing to pay for expedited service quoting four five times of the regular basic ground shipment. This time, I needed a box to pack my items, she offered to pack. I insisted I would pack, she said no-no I can do it. At the register, I see that she added multiple charges for packing service and materials, I did not ask for. When I finally agreed to pay $20 more for packing service (in the interest of time) she set the bag worth $500+ in the open and said she’ll pack it later and I would get a confirmation the next day after 7-8pm. I refused to leave until she packs. She insisted she was busy with other customers and continued serving other customers while I already paid for shipment and packing services. I gave her sufficient time and waited until the last customer, she started packing and blaming me in distrust, and warning of additional fees she would have to charge for packing in front of me. The next customer came, she stopped and attended to that customer. In the end, I asked her to reverse the charge and asked for my items back. This lady and this UPS location is a scam, be aware!
I shipped it from another UPS store for much less and it is to be delivered next day as basic ground shipment. I am not clear how UPS is handing out franchise to scammers without any accountability.

Today, December 4, at 1:52 pm, I went in drop off a package and take passport pictures. I knew that this location offer this service because previously one associate had mentioned that to me. She had said that should I need that, UPS was there for me.
Today, once the associate processed my package, he asked me if I needed anything else, like tape off the wall. I mentioned to him that I also needed passport picture and he said that just give him two minutes.
5 minutes later and with him processing over 9 boxes from the customer who was behind me, I had no choice but to tell him that I was heading over to FedEx.
What made is worse is the fact that I there was at least one other associate who could have prioritize customer flow over anything else… I also knew that he had already indicated that the others in line were to be processed before taking my picture.

Riped me off and made me purchase a box for a Amazon order that was not needed. Will never return to this location. Same lady scammed me as other reviewers. perhaps I will also write to corprate. Earlier in the week I returned another of the exact item to the Greenbriar location where I usually go and was not charged the fee. Proof that she is a scammer.

Avoid this location at all cost! The store owner is a miserable, awful woman with horrible customer service. She will scam you with unnecessary packaging fees when you try to return Amazon items. I’ve reported her location to Amazon as well as UPS Main office. UPS deserves to know that this hideous woman is ruining their good name with scams and fake charges.

oversale, $16 shipping fee for docs + $4 per envenlop +$6 box +another $6 for basic pack materials and pack services. She tried to sell the $80 next day air, which I declined.

I was told the shipping was $16 which was reasonable and I needed to scroll down to agree the service. after that, she started the bunch of add on of all the additional material fees and packing fees.

I told her just give me the $ 16 shipping label and I would pay for the envelopes since I already packed everything in, and I would take care of the rest myself. I was told they had to do it and charged me for the packing service, which is absolutely a scam. I understand you need to be charged for material but this is really absurd.

The only reason I chose this newly opened UPS cuz it is close to home. I returned to cancel the service as I do not feel comfortable about the service and other people packing my sensitive legal docs only to be told everything was shipped. She said she would refund me if I didn't get the same charge in other UPS stores. Honestly, it is my first time got charged a packing fee for documents...

Update:

2 weeks later, all my docs were rejected and returned to me due to one crucial page missing. So I had to reprint and resign everything and re ship it.

I went to a diff store down the street. The only thing I had to agree on the screen was the address I was sending to and I was shown the total price including material fees. The clerk in the other store put all. my docs into the envelop, put the shipping lable sealed it in front of me in abt 2 mins. Same address, same ground shipping, same docs, the receipt is for your reference.
