GOODONYA Organic Eatery

My wife and I have wanting to try this place out to see what the hype was about. My wife appreciated all of the gluten and dairy free options, and enjoyed her meal. I enjoyed my meal as well, I got the protein scramble, and while it wasn’t bad, it seemed like it was lacking flavor/seasoning, but the fact that everything is organic, regenerative, and clean-focused, I was able to overlook that. All in all, definitely worth a try!

Great little diner right on coast Hwy in Encinitas. It’s small with a little organic store attached to the side of it. The staff are really happy, bordering on delightful.

Food is solid and consistent. Standard American fare, organic style but not hippy dippy with a few decent twists.

Pancakes are amazing and the bacon is good. Breakfast sandwich is easy and tasty. Great drinks, outdoor seating and some inside. Separate counter for to go orders - smart owners.

2 clean bathrooms - one has a changing station if you bring the kids. North County San Diego is full of wealthy people with has mostly horrible restaurants.

This one stands out far above the rest. Definitely worth a shot if you’re considering.

A unique resto+market service top notch organic foods catering to all audience, Vegan, Paleo, Keto, Vegetarian and Pegan. You body naturally feels good after eating a clean meal. Top the food off with their Kombucha. They even got a small marketplace behind the restaurant with a small bakery in it.

Goodonya is a great restaurant with a wonderful concept - everything on the menu is organic & non-GMO. I had the fried egg plate, and it was very good. The Iced Naughty to drink was AMAZING! My wife ordered the turkey sandwich with cranberry relish, and she loved it. My daughter had the chicken salad sandwich, and my son had the kid's corn dog with a side of fries. Everyone was happy, and we ate everything! The next time we're in Encinitas, we'll be back!

I would come back to this place just because of Athena, truly. She was the first face you saw and spent so intentional with each customer yet so attentive to the others coming or in line. She was so knowledgeable & helped me narrow down what items I purchased. The products are top notch, & there is a PLENTIFUL variety of products from health foods to self care to home decor. Definitely stop in! I was roaming the store for 30min

They were able to accommodate us with 3 lil kids who like to move around! We were grateful for their patience. Food was delicious and the service was attentive...thank you for a positive experience with kids!

Came for breakfast. Ordered the Protein Scramble with bacon. I wasn’t blown away. But the staff was very friendly and made the experience very pleasant. Definitely plan to come back and try something else.

My wife & I live in Nebraska, but fortunate to “winter” in Oceanside. We love to patronize ‘Goodonya’ 2 or 3x each year, and learn volumes about eating and preparing healthy foods and coffees from fine, organic ingredients! We highly recommend you visit this wonderful “iconic” Encinitas eatery next time you crave fabulously healthy/tasty food & coffee!

Great food! Service was kinda bad the day we were there. Our server forgot about us a few times. The gluten free quesadilla was fantastic and I loved the mocktail!

Omg. Their new dinner menu is off the charts awesome. I got a sneak taste.

I am also a wine club member. They have the healthiest wine ever. Start your meal with their GOODONYA Hydrate drink!

So I've been to this restaurant a few times and I'm always impressed with both the quality of the ingredients and the staff. I have become an absolute addict to GOODONYA Hydrate. It's a drink that they make from a premixed powder and filtered water. You can buy the packs of water in the store or online. The drink itself is slightly sweet and has a little hint of lemon. It's just the best thing to drink when you feel dehydrated, but also BEFORE a night out. The salt in it helps you hold onto water in your body. I saw these pics up on the wall while waiting for the bathroom. I highly recommend visiting when you're in Encinitas!!

Excellent clean healthy choice in S Encinitas close to Swami's. . Service was impeccable, one of the cleanest and freshest places to eat on the coast. Their pizza is definitely recommended, the Chicago is my favorite, the California is a little too hippie for me. Their salad is incredibly rich with delicious pickled onions, super ripe tomatoes and crisp cucumbers. The Wild Shrimp salad for 18 bucks in my view was way too much considering you get 4 meager size shrimp. Sit down table service with a nice outdoor patio is available too. Wine and Beer is you want to imbibe. Locally sourced conscious ingredients. Exceptional food.

These folks cater to any fashionable eating trend your in to right now — keto, vegan, organic, CBD, etc. Lovely organic food at a reasonable price. Service was impeccable, friendly and informed. They even have bone broth! TIP: communal outside tables are nice for a community feel.

Absolutely LOVE everything about this restaurant! The owner, the staff, the food, and their newest product HYDRATE! It was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend this as a must stop in Encinitas.

The environment is perfect to refuel after a run, bike ride, surf session, or a walk with friends. And don't forget to ask about HYDRATE...It is the perfect drink to have with any meal at GOODONYA or after a few glasses of their delicious wines! ENJOY!!!

My favorite breakfast place in Encinitas!!! The menu has a bit of something for everything. The ingredients are healthy and fresh. They also have a great wine selection available on site. The menu can run a little pricey but, totally worth it for what you are getting. My personal fav is the Breakfast Burrito on the gluten free coconut wrap.

Food here is always good. Highly recommend the spicy quesadilla with chorizo. Service can be hit or miss but this is always dependent upon how busy they are, this is not a knock.

First time here and east pleasantly surprised with the high quality food. Service was fantastic and I look forward to my next visit.

This eating experience was phenomenal. I ordered a salted caramel latte which needed a bit more sweetness, my lovely server (Amanda?) gave it a kick, which was perfect. This is an ocean friendly restaurant and does everything to save the environment and Mother Nature...we'd do well to follow this example (please see photos). No compromising on taste; they accommodate every palate in an ethical and sustainable way. I had the veggie scramble made with coconut oil and GF pancakes, both very delicious. The approach is what absolutely clinches it, and it's my belief that GOODONYA needs to approach other markets. As I saw bees working so hard to pollinate nearby flowers, I thought of what we collectively need to give back. Nature gives us her beauty, and it's free...but only for so long. Please support this establishment and pay it forward; they are making our planet better and truly, saving all species.

Pretty delicious avo toast-Caprese style. Had a latte as well. Super friendly staff and neat little place to stop in for a bit. Across the street you can stroll over to more little shoppe in this cute area. Lots of choices for veggie and vegan!
