I got the Varraco Latte and it was so rich; so smooth; the froth on the top was so thick and creamy. It was not bitter at all!! This is a small and cute Filipino cafe that you should try, if you’re into coffee! Their coffees are different, which you can taste. They also have good pastries. Nothing special about them; they’re pastries; they’re tasty. I tried the cream cheese danish and it was good, but it wasn’t anything special. BUT!!!! The COFFEE, which is why you would go here, is absolutely fantastic. It’s right up my alley, so I recommend it!

Heard about this coffee spot that uses beans from the Philippines so we decided to check it out. It looked really modern inside, nice and clean too. Not a lot of places to sit, so plan accordingly. Was going to get plain coffee to see how it tastes but ended up getting the Banana Q Latte not really expecting it to taste like the actual banana que in the Philippines, but it surprisingly does! Well done! They do have some pastries too which were really good, don’t be deceived by how little there are in the display case, they do have some more stocked in the back, just make sure to ask. I ended up getting some beans to try out at home, which were really good.

It is a great place and a great location. It’s a small coffee shop, yet the service is high-speed - plenty of stuff is working there—fantastic food and pastries, sweet and savoury, hot and cold. The milk choices are also lovely; I love it when there is a pistachio milk option.
Delicious matcha and friendly service! Thank you so much; you made our morning perfect!

Great Filipino Cafe!

I ordered an Ube Latte that was very tasty! I also ordered the Spam Sandwich, Adobo Pandesal, and Ube Bibingka. Everything tastes great! The spam sandwich was good, but I would not order it again. The pandesal and bibingka were great. Would definitely recommend and return!

Go try their coffee, it's smooth, rich but not too strong, and naturally silky. The Ube Latte is excellent, not overly sweet. The beans are sourced from Philliillpines which they also sell. The minimalist mid century decor adds to the PS vibe. They carry some Filipino pastries as well that are very tasty along with some other more familiar items like croissants muffins to be enjoyed with your coffee. They have a few tables inside and outside tables with umbrellas. Give it a try, it's excellent coffee drinks that you've never had.

The best coffee in the valley. I ordered cold brew- black! It’s strong and has rich flavor. My kids really enjoyed the Brown Sugar latte. The empanadas are really yummy too! The Adobo pandesal is big enough to share. I will probably do less Starbucks now and get my coffee at Varraco and support small local businesses especially if they’re really good.

Excellent coffee! They are sourcing their beans directly from the farmers, so we are happy to pay a bit more for this artisan/community approach. And the pastry!! I’m now addicted to Ensaymada & Bibingko, delicious!! This really is by far the best coffee in PD. Go treat yourself!

As soon as you walk in to Varraco Coffee Roasters, you feel like you’re in a coffee shop you’d find in Seattle or San Francisco. The aesthetic is effortlessly cool, urban and minimal. Everyone who works at Varraco is pleasant, knowledgeable and welcoming. It’s easy to cozy up, kick back and have great conversations at this little shop.

What I love most about Varraco is the tangible passion the owners have for art and craftsmanship to make a great cup of coffee. They source their beans personally from the Philippines and roast in house. They stay true to honoring their roots while adding a modern approach to their selection of coffee and pastries.

Varraco is not a traditional, trendy coffee shop, it’s more than that. They provide an authentic experience into the Filipino culture. Their story and passion is what drew me in and their fantastic coffee is what keeps me coming back from more. I’m personally addicted to their brown sugar latte.

I saw reviews discussing price, however a portion of the sales go back to the farmers who provide the coffee beans. So I gladly spend a few extra dollars supporting a business that supports their community, staff and farmers.

Needless to say, Varraco is exactly what this desert needed: an effortlessly cool coffee shop with artfully crafted coffee.

Wow! What a unique and pleasant coffee experience… we had the Ube and the Pandan latte and they were amazing… the coffee is very smooth, no bitterness and very vibrant…. Really enjoyed the flavor… we also tried a Ube Bibingka and it was delicious… the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and I can see this place getting very busy for people who like great coffee…. Looking forward to going back

Great little coffee spot I came across while searching for a “real” espresso cafe in PD. I visit this area annually and quite frankly haven’t found many great coffee cafes until now. Varraco delivers great quality espresso drinks! I’m here for a week and I’ll definitely be back several more times!

Best iced vanilla oat milk latte I’ve had in years! So smooth, the vanilla is perfect and pure- not too sweet. Varraco got me through Coachella 2024! See you next year.

I was curious to try out this new Filipino coffee place that just opened up and I was not disappointed. It's really nice to see kababayan (fellow Filipino) businesses in the valley. I got the Varraco Latte with Oat Milk and the Milo Ensaymada. They don't add any sweetener to the coffee so I just added one brown cane sugar packet from there. The espresso in the latte was pretty strong and rich to me, overall really good. It was strong but not bitter or watered down, I can't pinpoint how to describe it exactly but flavor really shines through. Their Milo Ensaymada was chocolate-y, light, and fluffy. I liked it and hope to try the rest of their pastries.

Normally $6-$7 for coffee is pretty expensive for me, but I appreciate how they source coffee beans directly from small farmers in the Philippines so I understand that. I'm happy to support both small businesses and farmers internationally. The owner and barista who served me were very sweet. Will come back here again :) Maraming salamat!

The beef emanada was a surprise. It's crack...

I asked the batista to surprise me with my coffee (I've never had terrible coffee, so what's the worst that could happen) and he prepared me a hot Ube Coffee. DELICIOUS!

And watching the care and love he prepared everyone's coffee with... was a pleasure.

Come here! The vibe is awesome.

Update: without fail, no matter how much I prepare myself, I have to race home to poop. The coffee is THAT good.

Wanted a good coffee place while on holiday and discovered this. Treats aren’t too sweet which i appreciated. Loved the Ube matcha! Wish this place was in LA! Looking forward to visiting again when I’m in the area.

The decor is great in this cute store. The staff is really friendly. Their lattes are wonderful, as are their lemon raspberry muffins! My daughter wasn't a huge fan of their chai (she said the powder is better than the liquid mix).

Two things brought me here:
1. My love for coffee and coffee shops.
2. My appreciation for Filipino culture, as my wife and children are Filipino.

The staff is super friendly, real clean and nice environment, and I love how creative they are with their Filipino inspired drinks and pastries.

This is an awesome joint to visit, even if you are not a fan of coffee or don't know anything about Filipino culture. I highly recommend it!

High quality espresso, absolutely delicious! Had a great time talking to the baristas. Vibe is chill + minimal. Went 2 days in a row; will be back next time I’m in town.

Checked this place out on the way out of town and wish I’d come sooner. Very friendly staff and some very tasty drinks. The banana latte was so good my friend went back in and bought another after the first sip on his original. Highly suggest checking this new joint out
