Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa, Indian Wells

We only had the chance to stay the resort for one evening, but it was a spectacular stay, with an upgrade to a suite with a view of the mountains and see of palm trees – we couldn’t ask for more. The beds are very comfortable, we had a room with 2 queen beds and a very good shower, that felt well thought out in its design, especially the showers, as they place the handles in an appropriate spot to avoid the shock of water and give you the space to get comfortable. The toilet area did feel a bit odd, because it is closed in, but it adds an element of privacy. The decorated lights on the palm trees gave the resort an ambiance at night that felt tropical. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We didn’t have lights on the tennis courts, because they had a few electric issues, but they were very apologetic, and we just used the other facilities at night. The gym and yoga are very nice additions.

Thank you for a wonderful holiday stay! The friendly, professional, attentive staff really stood out. They made us feel welcome and appreciated. We enjoyed driving up to your lovely palm-lined entrance, the view of the mountains from our balcony, your beautifully decorated atrium, the fresh breakfasts, the s’mores by the pool, the family activities, the train ride through the atrium on NYE, escaping your escape room, swimming and building sand castles in December, live music in the evenings. We appreciate the effort that went in to making our vacation special.

My only complaint is the lack of friendliness at the Place bar. My husband and I went up to the bar separately and each time the bartender purposely went behind the bar and hid? Not sure why? It was very odd.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurants was fantastic. They have an omelet bar for breakfast that we really enjoyed. Our room had fun wallpaper and artwork. We really enjoyed staying at this resort.

The Renaissance Esmeralda is a class-act worth experiencing.

We attended Youth Town Hall there, and they treated our high school students like they were honored guests. Thank you for making their evening!

Our visit was fantastic! The pool and pool bar were the perfect escape from the dusty concert venue.

We had a suite with a beautiful view of the shrubbery on the 4th floor.

The little shop was cute with basics and clothing options. The coffee shop ☕ was godsent after a night of dancing at the nearby venue.

I wish it were closer to the concert venue, but it wasn't too far.

Great experience overall!

Loved staying here in Indian Wells. Staff was very friendly, rooms were updated, and Christmas decorations were beautiful. Great big pool, even had a sandy beach!

Restaurants were great , service and food great, bars over priced, staff excellent, location great. Hallway carpets in areas could use a cleaning. Smokers should be quickly removed from door ways, much further then a few meters as its drawn in and ruins the space for long periods.

This is a great place to bring the whole family. They have something for everyone. Rooms were very clean. Service was great. Staff was mostly friendly. The girl working the bar was not to fond of children which is ok but at least try to be friendly since you work in hospitality.

First time trip to Palm Springs/ Desert and loved our stay. I went with my partner and with other friends as well and we were very pleased with our stay, check-in was smooth. Staff is very attentive, clean and fresh sheets everyday at a timely manner in the morning. I loved being able to call valet from our room, the guys do an excellent job to get your car in and out they’re very polite. Pool has great vibes and towel service. Both bars have excellent drinks and the lobby bar and food is really good!! We enjoyed hot wings and shrimp ceviche and was left very impressed and satisfied with the taste of the food. Overall we enjoyed everyone we engaged with it made our experience so much better to have kind staff around. We can’t wait to be back.

A great resort in the Indian Wells Golf Resort area. Surrounded by some magnificent golf courses the resort itself offers solid accommodations and great service.

Opened as a Stouffer resort this property has had multiple renovations and presents itself very well.

The design of the hotel provides a lobby connected to an area offering a grand staircase design to the lower lobby offering access to the bar, pool area and some meeting rooms. Guest rooms are comfortable and well designed with many offering balconies.

The main restaurant, Cava, offers good food and service with the bar, coffee shop and room service offering other food options. For those wanting to be active, a fitness center, pool, tennis courts and bikes are available to use. A spa is also available. Meeting and event planners will find ample conference space and outdoor venues available for use. A building behind the pool area provides a full conference hall while individual conference rooms are also found in the main building. A sizeable gift shop rounds out the offerings.

The resort is really nice, the staff is super friendly. We did have an issue with our room upon check-in, the lobby was very loud and the location of our room made our room pretty loud as well, the hotel was able to move us within 30 minutes to a room that wasn't directly fronting the lobby and it made all the difference.

Outstanding stay. We took a chance and stayed further away wanting some peace and quiet and that's exactly what we got. Everything was well cared for and cleanly. Staff was beyond friendly and outgoing. Very attentive and engaging in conversation and making recommendations. Breakfast at Cava was delicious and everything cooked to perfection. Kudos to our server, Oscar, who was so nice and made our last couple of hours of our stay the most enjoyable we had all week. We already booked a return trip as a result of such an amazing first time stay.

Awesome Staff! Rooms were very nice. Great location. About 30 mins from the airport and easy freeway access. Shopping like Target and lots of restaurants nearby.

I loved our stay here. The room was nice and clean and the staff were extremely friendly. The pool area is awesome, especially for younger kids. I went with my husband and 6 month old daughter. She had a great time in the pool which was the perfect temperature for little ones. Also, the poolside staff were wonderful bringing towels and ice water when you needed it. Would definitely recommend this resort

I attended for a conference and thoroughly enjoyed the time there. Clean and well managed facilities along with comfortable, spacious rooms create a great environment for meeting, and relaxing afterwards.

This hotel has been our favorite place so far in Indian Wells/Palm Desert. The service is great, everyone is friendly and helpful. They clean and restock the rooms daily, which has been rare in recent years at many hotels. When we needed anything like towels, the service desk was so polite and quick to provide what was needed. The pool area is big and roomy. The poolside service was great. Only downside, I wish there was a jacuzzi for adults only, simply because they have 2, but they are small with a capacity limit and they were always full of very young kids. Other than that, they have so much for families with all ages. We loved the arcade and little bowling alley, the Cafe, the rooms had plenty of space. Great place to stay.

Loved everything about this stay! We arrived the Saturday of Memorial weekend. So the hotel was SUPER busy. We didn't even try to go to the pool until Sunday. We found some chairs, and the pool staff were so busy. However, they kept checking on us and delivered everything we wanted. Apologized for the slow service, but we thought they did excellent considering how busy it was. The rest of the week it was much less busy - had our pick of chairs. Service again was excellent at the pool. Loved the waiter for Breakfast at CAVA. He was great about chatting and giving ideas on what to do. This was a great hotel, and I'd definitely recommend staying here. Great and safe location. Amenities were excellent. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet each morning.
