Oceanside Ace Hardware

I went to 4 different hardware/plumbing stores to help with my weird dishwasher problem. All of them turned me away except for this store & Nathan spent time helping me! Thanks for making a frustrating day for me into a peaceful one with your help :)

I love this hardware store. It is still the classic small town like hardware store that I used to love going into with my dad- long before the big conglomerate warehouse stores like- well you all know their names- the selection is great for a small store and always fun and unique items as well.

Logan went above and beyond to assist me with verifying stock on a hard to find reverse osmosis fitting, I am really impressed with the service I received to say the least.

I have an injury where I cannot drive for a little while and I planned to send my wife to the store to get this part. As any husband knows, sending your wife to the hardware store is kind of a gamble. Best case scenario there is a strong probability you may not end up with the correct parts. Worst case scenario, frustration or a potential for an argument could be the end result.

Thankfully, Logan was able to locate the part, and set two of them at the counter with my wife's name on them, which completely alleviated any potential for mishaps. Logan even went so far as to use his personal phone to text me an image of the part to ensure it was correct, it was correct, he knows his stuff. This young man deserves a raise, the customer service I received was far beyond the call of duty and there is no way you would get this kind of service at Home Depot or another big box hardware store. A+ Logan and A+ to Oceanside Ace hardware. Thank you!

Bought an EGO trimmer it worked for 5 minutes had a faulty battery, it happens. I tried to return it the next day with receipt in hand. I got turned away because I “used it”. Since I paid with a credit card, I couldn’t be helped. Perhaps if I was a cash customer I would have been treated differently. Even though ACE has a 30-day return policy. No refund, no exchanges, and they couldn’t call EGO for a warranty because “their closed”, even though it’s open Saturday 10-4 EST, during the time I visited the store for the return. I left the store with a non-working product, no refund, no exchange and receipt.

**** Later that day the manager called me and provided me a refund, said that his employee was just confused on the policy from recent changes. Thank you for making it right. ****

I usually go there for their hardware. They don't have as much as Home Depot or Lowe's but the one thing that I do like is that I have found some special hardware that the other two stores didn't have. Since then I have been mainly going to this hardware store. Also the staff is super friendly, nice and willing to help you as soon as you come in.

What!!! So sweet I actually forgot my wallet and b4 I ask if they have the tap...they said it's no problem we make the customer's key if they bring the key so no charge because I brought the key!!my car key!!that ford said would be 3 million dollars for 2...so Ace you guys rock!!!!

Amazing service from Logan! He was so kind and helpful when I called. He then followed up with more detail. Because my item is no longer being carried, he proactively researched and supplied another option. This is just the kind of customer service that builds customer loyalty.

This place really holds up to the slogan (ace is the place with the helpful hardware folks)! I go here frequently and am always greeted by a friendly worker. They are always happy to help and go the extra mile. David the manager has always been incredibly helpful!

Wow I don't know if I got the owner or manager or what, but as soon as I got in the store I was greeted by a man. He asked me if he could help me find anything. He took me to each item on my list, surprisingly they had every item. He was very pleasant and when I was done paying for my stuff another man carried them across the street to my car for me. It felt like I was back in the 50's with the kind of service I received. Very kind atmosphere. I don't live in Oceanside but if I can find a reason to return I definitely will.

Very convenient location and with the friendliest and most helpful staff. When I need a particular screw of fastener I almost always can find it here. They also have some fun household decorations and a few pieces from local artists.

Exceeded expectations, very helpful and friendly . They did not have the tube I needed so they went next-door to the transmission shop and got the small piece of tubing that I desperately needed. Very friendly and knowledgeable.

Great store! I loved it, employees are very friendly and helpful. Dog friendly and not only is it a hardware store it's also a gift shop and can pick up essentials.
