I sent 2 of my children here and we had a phenomenal experience for both of them. My daughter started at 2.5 and stayed until she started Kindergarten at age 5. The staff was always so good to her and she LOVED going. We of course had the occasional toddler fight about not wanting to go, but by pick-up she didn't want to leave. My son started at 4 and stayed a full year before heading to Kindergarten and he also had a great experience. My son is definitely a trouble maker but the staff handled him fantastically!! This was definitely the best daycare/pre-school we have used (we have 2 older children but they were way past this stage by the time we moved here). I can't recommend this place enough and if, God forbid, we have another child they would definitely be going here! We will continue to use them for summer daycare because they were so great.
Thank you to all the staff for helping us raise our children while we worked. They would not be the fantastic kids they are now without you!

Young scholars has been the best place of learning! They have had wonderful teachers and support staff. They were great with communication and making me as a parent know they were being cared for! We love YSA!

I have three great grandchildren attending Young Scholars Academy. The 3-month old baby just loves it there…you can tell by his big smiles. We know he is being well taken care of and supported with his early development.

The middle great grandchild has been attending since preschool. You can see the growth in her not only educationally but how they channel and cultivate her interests and energy.

The oldest girl has been in the school since kindergarten. She struggled her first year to be apart from her family, but with the staffs caring work and help she is becoming a well-rounded child and does not want to miss a day of school.

The older two love the interesting educational field trips. And I love that they not only get individual attention at the school, but they are encouraged to do their best during each group activity throughout the day.

Thank you Young Scholars Academy!

I wholeheartedly recommend Young Scholars Academy to parents or grandparents seeking high-quality care for their children. My grandchildren have been attending this daycare for some time now and the level of care and attention they receive is outstanding.

One aspect that truly sets Young Scholars Academy apart is their dedication towards educational growth. It isn't just a place for my grandchildren to spend their time; it’s a constructive environment where they have been learning, growing, and thriving. The staff here ensures they introduce these young minds to a diverse array of educational places outside the daycare premises.

They have organized various visits to places, turning these outings into valuable learning opportunities. These activities have helped my grandchildren gain a practical perspective on what they learn, piquing their curiosity and expanding their knowledge about the world around them. Not to mention, this has significantly enriched their experiences, which I believe is an essential aspect of their holistic growth... My grandchildren come home with new stories of their day's adventures, and it's such a delight witnessing their intellectual and social growth.

The team at Young Scholars Academy is commendable - they are warm, friendly, and most importantly, patient. It’s clear they take pride in fostering a safe, nurturing and educational environment for the children.

I’m soooo glad we were able to get two spots here for my kids. My daughter started at 2 and my son at 5 months (now 4.5, 2.5)

As a military family, I knew we would leave at some point and I knew that would be the hardest part of moving, leaving this center!

Not only did they do an amazing job at managing daily operations, they always went above and beyond to give the kids the best of early education. They made us feel like family.

I never felt like this was a daycare as they truly do so much to help your kids learn while also having so much fun. Other day cares just keep your kids alive while I felt that YSA actually helped develop my kids and built bonds with them. Evidenced by my kids running to the staff for hugs at drop off / pickup along with all the amazing skills they’d show off at home.

If there were any issues, the staff were always there to help. Even if it was just concerns I had as a mom leaving my kids. Very understanding and compassionate people.

We truly miss you guys!!! Thanks so much for all you’ve done and having such an amazing place for kids to grow!

My daughter (4 years old ) and my son (2 years old) have been attending YSA since they were infants.
YSA has been such a blessing to my family and I and its great knowing that my daughter and my son are both in a safe , loving environment. Not only do they do the absolute best for your children, but your children also receive the most high quality education and positive brain development anyone could ask for! If you want your child to learn but also have fun then YSA is definitely for you!

I wanted to come back and follow up on my original review.

My daughter has been at YSA for almost 3 years and it’s been an amazing experience! We’re about to start Kindergarten and are so sad to graduate from YSA. These last 3 years have truly shown what a parent or caregiver should expect out of a daycare. Honestly, calling it a daycare doesn’t seem adequate, this has become a family! My daughter has learned so much! Some Spanish, sign language, a devout interest in books and reading, and her social skills are advanced beyond where I’d expect for a 5 year old. The preschool curriculum has been such a blessing in preparing her for Kindergarten and I have no doubt that she will be academically at or above where she needs to be.

The summer camp experience has also been amazing! There were 2 or 3 field trips a week, a water day every Wednesday, themed days for dress up and decorations, ice cream trucks…

For Easter and Halloween there are facility events for the kids, and at Christmas Santa and reindeer come to visit!

The staff are all helpful, patient, thoughtful, supportive and as invested in your kid’s development as you. It’s clear that the teachers working here are in it for the right reasons.

If you are considering this center for your littles I cannot recommend them highly enough! Get on the waitlist, call and check for availability… whatever it takes to get your kiddo in here is worth all the effort you may have to put into it! Any waitlist is proof of the commitment of the families attending!

We’re so excited to move into school but so sad to say goodbye to our YSA family.

I wanted to take a moment and give you the perspective as not just a parent with children that attend YSA but as an employee. I have worked at my fair share of centers here in Colorado, the admin weren't nice the staff didn't treat other staff or the familes and children with respect where here you become family and I'm not just saying that, I love getting up and coming into work everyday! Not only that but here we all support each other including the admin! That's not something you see everywhere. I am very grateful for Ms. Jen, Ms. Jordan, and Ms. Tenesha for the confidence I have gained in myself as a teacher because of them, I can honestly say I've seen myself grow a lot. I've been to more then a handful of interviews and they always seem to butter you by saying they help and support you, you will get teacher time and the supplies you need for lessons and all this other stuff where here they keep to that. They have our backs, we actually do get teacher time, we do get the supplies we need for lessons. When I had a family emergency they were understanding and let me go early so I can be with my family and I didn't get reprimanded for it where I have at a different center.

As a parent with 3 children that attend YSA I can't say enough good things about them, my youngest one is 4 months old and I know he's in great hands, I trust and love his teacher Ms. Charlie I always get updates and pictures through brightwheel and it makes me feel better not being with him all day. My middle child is 5 and I was worried about her joining cause she can be a little hard to understand and she's very strong spirited, at other centers I worked at I would walk past her classroom and see her just sitting in a corner not participating and I can see in her face she just wasn't happy, where here I know she loves it, when I walk past her class she's playing with the kids or even just sitting with her teachers talking, she started kindergarten this year and loves going and I can say YSA helped her to love going to school, on the weekends she says to me I want to go back to school! I have seen a big change in my oldest child who is almost 7 and started 2nd grade this year she's my very timid, emotional child and since attending YSA she's gained this confidence in herself I haven't seen before and she's become quite the spitfire. She used to cry everyday when it came to having to go to school, and now she has no problem with it. I thank Ms. Dotty and Ms. Brooke for the work they put in with my 2 older ones.
I Love YSA and don't plan on going anywhere else, they have become like my 2nd family. I definitely recommend YSA as a parent and an employee!!

The outstanding teachers and workers forming the staff here definately know their crucial role in shaping kids and sharing in this learning environment. Their patience, love, and commitment allow my family to feel secure and safe in these early stages of life and learning. We appreciate this opportunity and this school.

Young Scholars Academy has become family to us! Our children have attended YSA since we moved to Colorado Springs in 2017. We moved to Peyton 8 months ago and still drive out of our way to take our daughter there. We can’t recommend this daycare enough! The staff has been great over the past 5 years! They truly care about building a great relationship between the children and parents alike. Their curriculum is great & very diverse, and truly prepares your child for Kindergarten and beyond. They are consistent in their teachings, and enable/encourage your child to be independent. The fact that we see most of the same faces of the staff over the years tells you what a great environment the children are in, with low employee turnover. Their breakfast, lunch and snack menu are very diverse and the children are taught to take a “no thank you bite”, which helps us tremendously at home getting both of our daughters to try new foods that they might otherwise just tell us they don’t like, without even trying it. I’m jealous of their summer camps, they have so many activities for the kids, they are NEVER bored during the summer months. I am retired military and have had experience with quite a few daycares, including some home daycares with 3 of the 4 kids, and would place Young Scholars as #1 on my list of centers we’ve attended. Their hours of operation accommodate almost all schedules, their teacher to child ratio is great, and the fact they make Best of the Springs consistently is no surprise. My daughter loves to go to “school” every day!

Even just spending a year here, my son has thrived once starting school with what he gained at young scholars. Thank you for all you did for him and our family!

Young Scholars Academy is a fantastic school for little minds. My son attended for 2 years and is now prepared to begin Kindergarten with excellent academic skills as well as social skills and proper classroom etiquette. Young Scholars staff treated my son like family and helped my son and I both through a rough time we had in our home. My kiddo and I are both grateful for the experience and knowledge that was gained through Young Scholars.

The staff at Young Scholars Academy really cares about your family and your children. I contacted them back in 2013 on short notice because I had a hectic schedule and needed to find care for my children immediately. They were able to schedule me a tour of their daycare facility that same day, and ever since, we have been EXTREMELY pleased with the care we have been provided with. The staff really goes the extra mile with your children. They have engaging activities for your children, and are attentive to your child's needs. They invite you to trunk or treat parties, Easter egg hunts, and other fun outings outside of their normal business hours. They get to know your needs as a family and are accommodating to every one of them.

We are not always enrolled with Young Scholars Academy (our schedule is constantly changing) but we have continually stuck with them for our needs if we ever need care for our daughters. My husband is in the military and if we get a last minute notice, they have always been able to fit us in. The facility is very clean, and during the holidays, the building is decorated, the fireplace lit, and the food from the kitchen fills the air. The whole atmosphere is cozy.

I know my children are safe at Young Scholars Academy and we will always give them our highest approval. Thank you to the team for always being so wonderful!

Our son has been going to Young Scholars since last summer and we could not be happier with our experience with this school. The staff are so friendly not only with the families and children but with each other as well . It is great to see the employees work well together and act so professional especially with all of the difficulties with Covid making such an impact on everyones daily routines. Our child is learning so much at this school and really enjoys the different learning centers and all the story time. We are so grateful for this school!!! We have been to other daycare centers/preschools with our older daughter in town and they cannot compare to Young Scholars!

When my husband and I started to look for a child care center for our daughter, we weren’t exactly sure what we would find. We looked at commercial centers, home centers, and private nannies to make sure we found the best fit for our family. As soon as I walked into Young Scholar’s, it was like being welcomed into a friend’s home. We knew this was where we wanted to be. Three years later and we’ve never second guessed our decision.

When we got pregnant with our second child, we knew right away where we wanted him to go. Because our daughter’s teachers are still there (which is amazing for any daycare center), we know who our son will have in the future and can’t wait to watch him flourish like his sister has!

They’ve handled the pandemic better than I could have hoped and I have no reservations about sending my kids there every day. Even though we can’t go into the classrooms, teachers have been great about communicating through the Life Cubby app. We love Young Scholar’s and are thankful every day to have found such an amazing place!

We had a poor experience with another daycare in town during covid and needed a new center. From the 1st day my son started it has been an amazing experience. He used to cry when I left everyday at the other center. He has never cried at drop off at this center. He comes home and tells me how much fun he has had. They have been fantastic with potty training and very laid back unlike the other center. They have a great curriculum and he comes home singing and talking about everything he's learning. They post photos and updates to their portal and there is even a camera you can watch to see your kiddo on the playground or in the classroom. I adore this center!

We absolutely love YSA!! It's by far the best daycare/preschool/summer camp we have been too..The staff and teachers are so friendly and hands on with the kids. My son has been going to YSA for 2 1\2 years, the connections he has with his teachers are amazing. They are now apart of his family. He has learn so much that I don't even worry about how he will transition into kindergarten. Because YSA has prepared him well. My husband calls Young Scholars Academy the Harvard of Preschools because it is just that good. We will miss you guys!!

We have been at YSA for over 4 years now. My oldest started in the two year old room and my youngest in the infant room. Next summer, my youngest will move on to kindergarten and I’m not ready. YSA has been like family over the years. My boys love going. They’ve supported me during some rough times, as well. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a place your kids will be loved, well fed (I’m constantly told I don’t cook as well), will be encouraged to grow as learners and as people, and will always have fun!

We have LOVED the YSA family! They have been so sweet and attentive to us and our child. You don’t feel like just another person there~ every time we enter the door, you are greeted by name and with a smile. They know my child and where she is at all times which is important to us! We are given access to the room’s camera and an app that logs all of her activities throughout the day . We thank them from the bottom of our hearts for taking such wonderful care of us!
