Alexis was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Helped me choose 3 games to purchase and play during my winter vacation. She also explained to me how buying a membership would benefit me individually. Sold. Purchased 3 games and an annual membership. Haven't had an annual membership in over 5 years. Looking forward to return again soon and preorder Last of Us 2.

I had not stepped foot into a GameStop since they closed down my Del Mar branch. A long time! I went there to find some Switch games, and needed some pointers, and was so glad to meet Holly, who spent time helping me, and recommending games, both for me, and for my niece. She was thoughtful in this, and I was very impressed by her level of customer service. She signed me up for the Power Up Reward service, which legit saved me 25 bucks on my games I bought, as well as got me a free GameStop shirt! Holly was very knowledgeable, and showed no judgement towards my lack of current games, and even found some old classics from my day for me! She laughed at my dumb dad jokes and made me feel welcome. She is a tremendous asset to your team, and I will be back soon for more games! Thanks much!

This is now our permanent home Gamestop location. Today being Thanksgiving. The crew is working hard and being super professional during this Holiday. This store should be the prime example for all other stores. The reason is how knowledgeable every employee is. You know on Thanksgiving it can be a little hectic. This location had a system that works. Organized line. From the point where we waited to the check out experience. As we waited inline. You can hear the cashiers be informative at checkout. Explaining warranties, additional accessories and other suggestions. With absolutely no pressure. Other Gamestop in South County. Will push and push. Not this location. On the contrary they explain everything thoroughly. Today's experience was so amazing. I got everyone's name. From Angie, Mckayla, Zaid, Benjamin and J. They all helped each other if something came up. I love giving credit to teams that deserve it. Yesterday I got my Switch and today I got my Oculus quest 2. I don't mind spending the extra money. When you get the service like this Gamestop delivers. Bestbuy who!? Remember those times you went to a Blockbuster. The clerk would give you suggestions. They knew you by name like the show "Cheers". That's how I felt these passed two days. Thanks Oceanside Gamestop team! And to Angie. Give it the beans!!! 😀 continue delivering excellence!

I can't tell you. This Game stop went above and beyond the call of duty. They called another store to help me locate something I've been looking for. Just going the little extra for me. It meant so much to me. I worked in retail. I know when I did that for my customers. They appreciated it. Well it comes around. They did it for me. Please who ever is the District leader or Manager to this region. Please PLEASE give kudos to Angelica and her ASL who helped me today, and also George! Spoke to George over the phone several times. Super polite and professional! THANK YOU GEORGE! I had some up and down experiences at different G.S locations. This location as well as San Marcos. You have my loyality!!!! This Gamestop is clean and organized. This is in a nice location. With plenty of parking. Nicely located near food and shopping. This is now my home store! ❤👌✊

AMAZING! I’m one of those parents who is not excited to see my kids gaming. But I finally relented and let my kids check out the Nintendo Switch. We came to GameStop and Ryan answered all of my son’s questions. He also backed me up on the importance of keeping school #1. He was beyond helpful, friendly, and professional.

Head to the bottom if you want a summation. This store’s shift lead or assistant manager (young girl), was super informative with Gamestop’s policy on getting collector edition items. I reserved the MK 11 collectors edition but a week before RE2 I had caught the existence of a collector’s edition which I had to nab. Sadly I was too late but the female employee had informed me what I should do in case someone does not pick up or if they cancel. She walked me through step by step and I was very happy with the service and her accommodation.

Summation: This store has honest employees that are eager to help which does not go unnoticed. Great customer service!

This GameStop is amazing. The staff is super helpful and friendly and definitely go out of their way to help in any way they can. Very informative. Great selection and awesome collectibles. My favourite GameStop by far! About the same size as the others I've been to but prefer this location for the selection.

They were very friendly. I want to play Mario cart ____. Hey don't actually write that into your review. Your ridiculous. What, do you have voice to text on? Its gunna take 12 minutes to install just dance, which we just bought with our $5 off for being a member coupon. Ah it comes with batteries! Unexpected fun! So this is compleatly wireless! Huzzah!

I called to inquire if GameStop carried old-school ps2 controllers. Ryan answered my call very quickly, not leaving me on hold for too long. He informed me they didn't carry controllers that old, however provided me with other local game stores that may carry them. Very helpful and was very appreciated.

So I just brought a friend but he looked like he was happy with the transaction...they actually have him money for what he had... usually it's "uh sorry we can't give you more than a penny...on store credit" not today! Thank you Gamestop for upping your game (no pun intended)

I came in to get a used controller end up not working came back and got another one came home that one didnt work too came back to game stop game and they end up helping me get brand new one this game stop always help me out and they are always friendly to me Larry and alexis and Andrew and Ryan, jorge always very helpful .

My experience at this gamestop was outstanding

Alexis was the assistant manager and was more than willing to help exchange a defective item perchused previously through the store with no extra charge, I was expecting an additional charge due to previous stores experience and already willing to just go buy a new one inplace of pre-owned to save the hassle but that was not the case at all.

This store is great. There should be kids running around all excited, There should be some unanswerable questions ( game developers and system developers can change things hourly ) about gaming, I don't know any all knowing Great Gazoo do you? I've been using this location as my home location for as long as it's been there. The location has a very large gaming community all around it on both sides of the 76 and College. The staff is knowledgable as to finding info for you and checking other Game Stop stores for availability. I go sometimes to discuss trends and a staffs point of view, it's great. Everyone has a personal prefference on systems and game genre and the staff is very aware of this. Very proffesional and they stick to the job...people and gaming. TY GS Elderaryot aka Mark

Everytime i go in this gamestop they always help me out . The employees are always nice to me and they always answer my question s i have and they time the time to show me around when i need help with games . best game stop been in i cant ask for more . on the employees .

This is the most awesome GameStop. Ryan is super cool and was a big help when I came in. No wonder this is a prestige location. Side note: Bring back Alexis.

Thought I'd rate it positively because it seems people only rate when they have a bad experience. The location's pretty useful because the next-closest ones are pretty far off by the Westfield Mall (which is stupid because there's two in the Westfield and one right next to it). I've never had a problem with service as some of the others claim to have (also, notice the flaw in the one star rating with no name. They say that the games are "very scratched" and "sometimes unplayable," meaning they must have been there to buy games multiple times, and yet they say that they "will not go back to this location again," implying they've been there once and their experience was bad. Contradiction! Just thought that was funny.) I've preordered pretty big stuff here, recently Pokemon Black and White, and the lines weren't too big (although it didn't matter to me because I was first anyway). What I liked most is that it opened on time on that day. When I asked about the release date of the 3DS a few weeks ago, the employee also suggested that I pre-order because it will most likely sell out. I asked about the games it will have upon release, and they printed out a list for me. That was pretty cool.

What can I say, this store has the best employees, very knowledgable about game genres and just overall excellent customer service. Kudos Gamestop I'm glad your doors are open again!!

Managment knows all about customer service andthe ability to hire well. Nothing but perfection at this location. Keep up the great work!
