Ray's Steak & Lemonade

I got the fried steak philly and it was delicious! Good flavor, hot and filling, and our order took maybe 10 minutes to make. The fries were nice and crispy and the mild sauce they recommended for them was really good too. The strawberry lemonade was a personally a little too sweet for me, I typically like mine a little more on the tart side. I would definitely suggest checking this place out!

The girl working the front is always so sweet and kind: she very obviously cares for her customers and the store’s reputation! The guys working in back care about their business also! From my understanding this is a small, local, family run business. Give them a chance and you will be coming back! 10/10!

Ordered the chicken sandwich and it was really good I’ve had it twice now. I tried the wings and fries which were also good, food is prepared once ordered. Can’t wait to continue to try different things on the menu. Not a lot of flavorful places around this area to eat so this place is very refreshing to have around.

The Steak Philly was absolutely delicious! The lemonade was also delicious! I think they just opened but they definitely have my vote!

My new favorite restaurant! I could eat here every day. Family owned, fresh food, excellent customer service. I highly recommend!!!

First time eating here!(08/30/2023). I drove across town on my lunch break, about a 12 minute drive. Once I arrived I walked into an empty plain Jane dining room. That was fine with me sense I was taking it to go anyways! The thing that really made me happy about the dining room was the pleasantly waiting lady at the counter with a smile. She helped me pick out something that would be quick and fresh, and thanked me for stopping in. The cheese steak was amazing and super flavorful! I really enjoyed the the lady's customer service skills and kindness.(small town vibes.) The Bernie mack show on TV was like the icing on the cake, I enjoyed watching it while waiting the couple minutes for my food. A series of folks seemed to be doing online orders too. I don't know why this place isn't busier!!!

Stumbled across this little hole in the wall randomly and decided to check it out. Service was great; the girl working the counter was a sweetheart. The Philly and fries were fire. I love to support local places like this that are killing it. Definitely going to be back next time I'm in Blo-No. Keep up the great work!

Sooo good! I got the Fried Steak Philly with cheese fries and a regular lemonade. The food was hot and worth the 10 minute cook time wait.

Since moving to the Bloomington-Normal area been looking for authentic Chicago food. And found it here the Italian Beef was amazing asked the guy to make it the way he eats his. It had mayo cheese beef dipped the add nacho cheese with hot and mild peppers and the portions was just phenomenal. Best sandwich in town definitely a hidden gem. The fries were crispy and lemonade was on point not too sweet just right. Looking forward to trying other stuff on menu.

Foods always delicious here. Would recommend anyone to come here for a good Philly.

We ordered take out and got the Italian beef sandwich (without cheese) extra hot peppers and they were so kind to put extra gravy in a condiment cup! The Italian beef sandwich was so flavorful and the meat very tender, best Chicago style in the Bloomington-Normal area! The pizza puff was as expected and crispy! My husband ordered the gyro sandwich he says it’s one of the best he has tasted! Overall, we recommend Ray’s for their delicious Italian beef, pizza puff and gyro sandwich.

This is the best little hole in the wall restaurant I have ever been to. Was all excited to try all the local places in town, but after 1 meal here I have literally not been anywhere else. Friendly family joint and best Philly steak and gyros I've ever had. You're missing out if you don't try it.

I got the fried Philly cheese steak and it was the best Philly I have ever had! They also have amazing lemonade.

Everything I've had has been delicious. The fries are phenomenal and crispy. Would definitely plan on taking it out, but if you have to eat in you can.

Crinkle cut fries. Philly meat had really good flavor and tender. The pink lemonade was sweet but really delicious. Highly recommend!

Great Gyro - fast, friendly service, clean interior, and awesome prices

Many take out. Food is fabulous and probably the best lemonade anywhere. The chicken Philly sandwiches rock. Gyro and gyro burgers are incredible!

If you need a sign to tell you to order from Rays — here it is. Post Covid had me craving flavorful food in the worst way so I took a chance on ordering from this new place. Did not disappoint one bit, hands down the best authentic Chicago style food I’ve had in central Illinois. Can’t go wrong with ordering anything from their menu. Happily a returning customer long after Covid.

I tried this place a couple months ago and got their fried Philly cheese steak.... And when I tell you this thing was good, I mean GOOOOOOD!!!! I've been craving this Philly cheesesteak just about every day now.. if you're ever trying to figure out what you want for dinner DEFINITELY try this place!!! You won't regret it, I promise you that

Got the fired chicken Philly, Buffalo chicken rolls, and the strawberry lemonade. Everything was absolutely delicious. I don’t normally drink lemonade because it’s too sweet, but this lemonade was truly amazing.

It should be noted that the prices on their website and Facebook page are not the same as the in store price. Most things on the menu in store are a couple dollars more than what shows online.
