The Barber Shop and Shaving Parlor

I brought my two sons in yesterday for haircuts with Spencer and I was very impressed! Spencer took a lot of care and did a wonderful job. My boys look awesome, even after sleeping on their cuts overnight. We've tried several different barbers around town and these are by far the best haircuts they've had. The shop is large, bright and fun. I love that I can book online with Spencer. We'll definitely be back!

Jessica Stenson has been the best barber I ever could have imagined! Listens and does amazing work. Will always highly recommend her!

I had a great first experience here. Nick was very welcoming, he took his time and did a heck of a job. Best haircut I’ve gotten. 4 years in Bozeman and I finally found my spot. 10/10

Ash Beardslee is by far the best Barber/hairstylist I've ever had. I went here in a whim because someone recommended this place. The Barber shop has that fun uppity vibe you seen in movies. With random pictures and with my bad terminology and description she knew exactly what I was looking for and nailed it. It's my first time ever being excited to get my hair cut. She took my personality into account which I didn't even know was a thing. I've been coming back for almost 2 years. Just one of those people who you hope gets the recognition they deserve for the effort and care they put into their profession. Would give more stars if I could.

I would highly recommend Terra Elder. I decided to change up my hairstyle, and she was very kind and compassionate. I asked for her advice on her styles, and she helped me reinvent my look with great suggestions.

Terra is very considerate of your hair, and will let you be in the drivers seat of how you want your hair done. Definitely coming back.

I always give my barbers a general idea of what I want, and tell them They have creative freedom. Jesse did a wonderful job and will absolutely be scheduling my next appointment with her!

I had been looking all over town for a barber shop that I could make an appointment at relatively quickly without having to deal with annoying walk in wait times. I stumbled upon this great little shop, and I'm so glad I did. The shop was clean and very well lit and had that great little barber shop atmosphere to it. I had made an appointment with Mads (Madisen) the day before and was greatful to be able to make am appointment so quickly. Madisen was super friendly and quickly figured out exactly what sort of cut/style I was looking to get. I really wanted to switch things up and try a style that I've never had before. I chose to get a low fade cut leaving my hair longer on top. Madisen spent a ton of time with my haircut and never seemed to have to rush, which was great because I felt like she was doing everything she could to give me the perfect haircut! I am super happy with how my low fade haircut turned out and I will most definitely only be coming back to The Barber Shop from now on 😁! I would strongly recommend getting your next haircut at The Barber Shop, and definitely recommend giving Madisen a try, I promise you won't be disappointed (I know I wasn't 👍🏻)! All in all this is a great little barber shop with tons of barbers to garuntee you find someone you'll be happy with. Definitely my new favorite barber shop in town!!

Just want to give a shout-out to Madisen, she did a great job. She spent a lot of time and effort into my haircut. I would recommend getting a haircut from her, definitely coming back for more in the future.

I am new in town and was (and am still, even after this appointment) looking for a reliable barber who I can trust to cut my hair without any difficulty. This was the first shop and barber I selected and I was less than satisfied with my experience, especially considering that I paid $35 for the haircut and added a $7 tip... out of courtesy alone. I booked my appointment with Ashlee Shoell. She's a nice enough girl, but I have a few complaints.

First, my appointment was for 10:45 a.m., but did not begin until 11:05 a.m. This in itself wasn't a problem, as things happen, but the barber stopped after having started my haircut so that she could use her phone for several minutes. I understand that at times it might be necessary to use your phone at work for a moment, but she did not communicate that this interruption was out of urgency. Again, not a big deal, but slightly annoying after waiting an extra 20 minutes. Not to mention, my service only lasted 25 minutes when it was scheduled for 45.

Next, I had come into the shop after not having had my haircut for 2 1/2 months. It was fairly shaggy and I expressed interest in shaping and cleaning it up without removing much length. I thought the style I preferred was fairly intuitive considering how my hair had been growing after my most recent cut, which we had also discussed. Nonetheless, she proceeds to cut above my ears, removing most of the length from the sides. She then made a comment about whether I preferred my hair above my ears, but said that she "assumed so because it was summer". Too late. And I'm not sure why any barber would make a decision like that based on an assumption and without considering my preferences.

I will say, though I'm not happy with this haircut, she did a good job for what it is. However, I think I will look elsewhere, as a disappointing haircut is difficult to rectify.

UPDATE: Was refunded by the barber and offerer a haircut by the owner, Sherri, who does not except new clients yet made an exception considering my situation. She did an incredible job and I will surely be back in the future. Great service and what had happened initially.

Mads is rads. She did an excellent cut on the most challenging hair in the valley while letting me know I have the hair of an angel! Previous client, however am back and it feels good. Thank you!

Stopped by so my teenage son could get his beard trimmed. Definitely impressed with this place. My son looks great and I enjoyed the conversation with those cutting hair. Book early online. Its a popular place and I can see why! Update: Been back twice. Bryan and Chris both do an excellent job! Highly recommend!

I’ve been going here for over 5 years now and had a few different people cut my hair and trim/shave my beard never had a bad cut and always got exactly what I asked for! Highly recommend

This place, and the barber Ashlee Beardslee, has been my go to barbershop for the past two years!

Ashlee does a tremendous job of listening and figuring out what exactly her customers want from their time here. She also takes the time to learn more about you, especially if you become a regular. Plus, I have never gotten a bad haircut here. Everything has looked exactly the way I want it, and the quality of life touches (reapplying product and restyling to your preference, straight razor shaving the back of the neck, etc.) just add to the overall value of this brand.

Overall, my all time favorite Barbershop, and my favorite Barber. If you find yourself in Bozeman in need of a quality barber, or simply want to try a barbershop for the first time, I highly recommend Ashlee and this shop!!!

Best haircut of my life. Went there this morning and got my haircut by Bryan. Was cutting off about 16 inches of hair, so I was fairly nervous with how it would turn out. Staff was super friendly and the shop had a very cool atmosphere. Ended up leaving the shop satisfied with my haircut for like the first time in my life. Definitely worth the wait.

Had the privilege of meeting and getting a great haircut from Matt today. Fantastic haircut and great heart! Thanks for everything Matt as well as for your family's service! Will look forward to seeing you again for another haircut and possibly April 9th at Stacy's to hear you play.

|| One of the better haircuts I’ve gotten in my life time. Ashlee Beardslee did a great job , everyone seemed very friendly, and service was great. $35 for haircut and beard trim just as good if not better than places I’ve been to that charge upward to $60-70. Will be back 100%.

I went there in the morning and was not able to get an appointment until later that afternoon. Mo problem for me.

I walk in and kinda explain what I wanted and through my limited answers Bryan was able to nail it exactly. Street going to a couple other barbers and hair cutting facilities I will be going back.

He was willing to talk but didn't force a conversation. I'm not much of a talker while getting my haircut so I really enjoyed this.

Great place and will be going back for sure. Especially since I figured out I can book online.

Was looking up the hours of another place where I had been getting my hair cut when I came across this place. I quickly read some of the reviews and decided to give them a try. There were several others waiting to get their biz taken care if and had requested the owners. I did not make a specific request and had to wait less than 2 min. The guy who cut my hair did a masterful job. One of the best haircuts I've had in the last few years. He also gave my a hot lather straight razor shave of hair on the back if my neck. What a treat. Gave a 20% tip w/o thinking twice about it. This is my new place to get a hair cut.

I have to say, this is the best barbershop that I have ever been to in my life. The barbers are responsive to your wishes and really know how to cut your hair in a way that is stylish and flattering for your features. They are very talented, and reasonably priced. The wait times can be long, but there is no way that they could reduce them because they take the time to make every haircut the best haircut they could give. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

The Barber Shop is the standard for a spot on trim, cut, wash, you name it. I went there years ago and I haven't gotten my hair cut anywhere else since. Staff is welcoming and friendly, and they all have great stories to tell. I will always recommend The Barber Shop!
