Ted's Montana Grill

The bison filet was outstanding! If you haven’t tried bison before and enjoy beef steaks, it’s definitely worth a try. The sides were really good as well and they had a nice selection of wine pairings. All servers were friendly and attentive. It was a great dining experience well worth the price.

I truly appreciated the great service! My waitress was very polite and friendly!!! She provided me with recommendations. I tried Bison for the first time. I’m glad I had it from here first! The asparagus was delicious! Fast seating, very welcoming, cozy atmosphere, and decent prices for big meals :)

OUTSTANDING VEGGIE BURGER, I've had many veggie burgers and this one tops them all, however thetoppings could have been the size to match the burger...hahaha. .SERVICE WAS AWESOME, CAITY CAT WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL....ATMOSPHERE was pleasing.
Will definitely be here again.

If it allowed more stars I'd give them! I went here for "my" Thanksgiving dinner" Sunday and had a Bison filet mashed potatoes and green beans. OH MY GOSH!!!I've traveled around the world and this was the best meal I have ever had hands down. No lie. It was so good, and the service so great, I had Taryn, I went back last night again! I had a Bison Burger Med rare with bacon and blue cheese and fresh cut fries and garlic aoli ..... oh lord the flavor.... so because I thought they would get sick of me drooling... I got my dinner for tonight and tomorrow in takeout! I got the Bison short ribs with mashed potatoes and green beans and pulled Bison and green beans! My choice for potatoes and green beans there was lots of choices for 2 sides with each meat! I figure by Thursday I'm safe to go back for another steak....

So EDITED TO SAY...SPENT TUESDAY AFTERNOON AT THE MUSEUM OF THE ROCKIES AND JUST HAD TO GO BACK FOR ANOTHER BISON CHEESE BURGER WITH BACON CHEDDAR AND BLUE CHEESE! ANOTHER HIT!

We got seated pretty quick upon arrival. Our server, Alyssa was great, very nice and friendly. I had the beef filet mignon with sides and everything was cooked to my liking. Prices were reasonable and I would eat here again when back in Bozeman.

We met hubby's cousins here and boy howdy! What a delight! First, it's located next to the Bacchus pub which we went to last spring so atmosphere is 👍. Beautiful old world dark wood and glass. We ordered drinks and it was soon obvious the bartender was running the entire bar area herself. Jessie did a magnificent job! Her margaritas were from scratch and rivaled my favorite from Jeff's west in Lawrence. Just scrumptious with the soft bite of tequila and no overwhelming sweet and sour or lime juice. We had the salt and pepper onion rings and first time I've ever had horseradish as a dip. INSANELY DELICIOUS!!! I'm so going to remember that! I had a burger with buttered carrots which was hand pressed and very very apparent not frozen. It was excellent and the buttered carrots were lightly sautéed just enough to bring out the taste of both ingredients. Cristina had the sliders: one bison and one beef and nothing was left. Hubby enjoyed bison chili and a side salad. Hal had a bison burger. Nobody uttered one bad word about the food. Too full for dessert but the next time I will absolutely make it go time for anything on their dessert menu. Cool fact: this restaurant is owned by Ted Turner who has a beef/bison ranch here in Bozeman. All the meat comes from his ranch. Great place for food, fun, conversation (you can actually hear one another) and kudos to our server Jessie who delivered an amazing experience despite being "in the weeds".

Have been here multiple times and have never been let down. The service we go from Alex was top notch. I enjoy the wide variety of burgers, the fresh cut fries are delicious, sometimes need some salt. My kids love the half sour pickles you get and the kids steak with onion rings.

I had ordered carry out, and I was quite surprised at how fantastic the food was. They offer online ordering or you can call your order in. The food was excellently seasoned. The carry out orders are prepared by the bartending staff. However, they were very attentive and helpful. I would recommend this restaurant.

Delicious pickles and hazy 🍺 IPA. The patio is a nice way to people watch in Bozeman. I ordered the bison burger rare, but it tasted okay. Game will look more done when still moist. Service was pretty slow at lunch. No water with lunch. All signs they were understaffed at the time.

Bison filet - EXCELLENT! Prepared perfectly as ordered. The mashed potatoes and asparagus were great. Bison chili excellent. I was not a fan of the onion rings - they were all stuck together and chewy - I was so full with everything else I didn't even miss them. The owner raises and butchers his own bison.

Let me break it down easy for you, get a drink of your choice, order the sliders, meatloaf, and brownie dessert. It’s that easy. Service was great, great vibe there with reasonable prices, must have every time in Bozeman. Patio, bar, and regular seating.

Get the bison in some form, unless you're averse to red meat. My friend got the bison filet and I had the pulled bison brisket and they were both delicious. The staff was very friendly and the service was great. Highly recommend.

We tried the Ted's Montana Grill in Bozeman located on Main Street for a steak dinner. We arrived as a part of three on a Tuesday evening without reservations and was seated in about 15 minutes. The restaurant has a classy vibe you would expect from a nice steakhouse and the wait staff were very professional. You have the option to try a few diferent cuts of steak from either beef or bison. I opted for the bison filet and the steak did not disappoint. The steak was cooked at the correct temperature (medium rare) and had a nice seared crust on the outside with a lemon butter sauce on top. I also tried the bison nachos which were very good. There was a good selection of sides with your dinner choice and a few options for cocktails on the drink menu. There is a small chocolatier shop just outside the restaurant that sells gourmet French style chocolates. Outside there are many bars and shops located within a short distance. I would recommend this place for a nice steak dinner or to celebrate an occasion.

We dropped by for an early dinner and were lucky enough to get a table, even though it was "parents weekend" for college students. We had to promise to be out by a certain time due to reservations on their books, but we didn't mind.
Ordered drinks and dinner and enjoyed everything with no issues at all. Our server, Gaige, was super nifty and alert, even rolled with our goofy oldster jokes.
Very pleasant.
Of note: parking is on the street or in a couple lots nearby, and can be tough to find on busy weekends. Service at the restaurant can be slow during peak times, so try to be patient.

Veggies were a little less then cooked. (Little too crunchy still)
Meat was amazing. Reminds me of grandma's home cooking.
Dessert was great. Super sweet espresso brownie.

Loved this place. It’s classics Cowboy upscale charm. Big bar and a nice fancy restaurant for dining. We did a Caesar salad with grilled salmon on one, and grilled chicken on the other. Delicious!
Next time we will do a full dinner. This is one of the best dining experiences in Bozeman.

Very good meal! My husband and I wanted something cheap because our trip to Yellowstone has been a lot! We got the Avalon burger and the sliders. Although the price was cheap, the quality of food was anything but that! So good!

My friend and I picked this place randomly for our first time in Bozeman and it was so great! We both got burgers, I got the Avalon, and it was probably the best burger I’ve had. We ate outside on the patio. The service was great and it’s in a beautiful location. I’d love to go again if I return to Bozeman.
