After reading the reviews for this post office, I have to admit I was not looking forward to this visit. Upon arrival, there was a LONG line of customers and 3 employees doing all that they could to move quickly through the line. A 4th employee arrived shortly, and after around 15 minutes in line, I finally was at the counter. Willie is the employee who was assisting me. I was there to try to locate a package that was mistakenly put in my son's mailbox, on February 5th, to be returned to a company rather than being taken to FedEx. We were only made aware that the company didn't receive the pkg. this past week-end. Willie collected the necessary information from me, very patiently and thoroughly, and said she would go look in the back. After maybe 8 minutes or so, here she came with our lost pkg.! Despite being ridiculously busy and it being the middle of the afternoon (so some of the employees had been there all day), all 4 employees were polite, efficient but not rushed, and professional. I give this post office AND Willie a thumbs up and a BIG thank you! Today was a GREAT experience!

I went a couple of weeks ago during lunchtime to get a passport made. Although there were 4-5 people in front of me and there was only one employee processing passports, I was able to get my passport done quickly. The lady was knowledgable and pleasant. I got my passport much sooner (2 weeks) than the 6-8 weeks it usually takes.

I knew my package had been received at the post office but wouldn't be delivered until the next day. But I really needed it since I was going out of town for the Fourth. I called and Patrick was SO kind, tracked it down, and had it waiting for me to come pick it up. FABULOUS customer service Tuscaloosa Post Office, I appreciate you!

I recently shipped a package with an incorrect address. When I called the usps store before the posted operating hours an employee answered the phone and was able to find my package, correct the address, and have it out for deliver that morning! Very pleased with the customer service.

I called them and the worker was very helpful in looking up my tracking # and explaining things to me. It took a few times to call, but when they answered they helped a lot.

I will go back

I had a great experience with the post office. The lines are always so long with being close to a college, but the employees are good with getting everyone in and out.

Wish they had more staff. Can get way too crowded. Nice and friendly employees though.
