Embassy Suites by Hilton Tuscaloosa Alabama Downtown

We had a great one night stay at the Embassy Suites. The staff were a highlight, from the reception desk, to the evening reception, and breakfast. Extremely kind and helpful. Great care and service!
The bed was comfortable, room was clean, the hotel was quiet. The touches of the evening reception- free drinks and snacks from 5:30-7:30, and free breakfast were a wonderful perk, as well as free parking. We have no complaints and highly recommend the Embassy Suites Tuscaloosa.

Gorgeous hotel! The lobby was stunning. Every employee was super friendly and helpful. My dinner at their hotel restaurant was so good and cooked perfectly. Try the beef tenderloin! It's phenomenal

I had a great experience. The worker Mr. Andre was amazing as far as my.check in, my room and also the birthday dinner. He was so nice and professional. He took his time and helped me and made sure I was okay. It was so nice and so peaceful. I will be going back.

Have stayed here twice recently and will be my go to place in Tuscaloosa. Easy access, clean rooms, excellent staff. Lashonda was awesome in having snacks sent to our room when I didn't get to select a room on the premier floor. Only recommendation is to expand the restaurant menu.

The location of this hotel is excellent. You are within walking distance to many restaurants. The restaurant within the hotel is nice and accommodating! The gentleman cooking the omelets was patient and very kind. Only complaint was not enough hot water on the 8th floor, it was warm but not hot...

The entire staff and experience were top-notch. Kiara and Ondre provided exceptional customer service and attention to detail. The location is convenient for food and entertainment. I will choose Embassy Suites if I am in Tuscaloosa again.

My check in experience at the Embassy Suites Tuscaloosa was fantastic. I had two packages shipped to the hotel the day prior & when I got to my room, both boxes were already inside waiting for me. Ondre was fantastic! Great job!!!

My family and I enjoyed ourselves while staying at Embassy Suites in Tuscaloosa. From the start, staff was welcoming and very friendly. The FREE breakfast was great. But I would have to say the best part of our visit was when my husband and I went to the bar and sat with the bartender, Jeremy. He is absolutely hilarious and has a great personality. And he knows how to bartend lol drinks were delicious. Will definitely return.

Loved the suite. The location is only a mile to the stadium so it was very convenient to both the. venue I attended and 59. My only issue is that there was a problem at check-in that resulted in me not getting credit for my stay on the Hilton app.

Room was nice enough, fridge was iced so heavily it barely functioned. Staff was excellent, helpful, and friendly. Social hour was nice but not exceptional, breakfast was top notch. I will return if in the area.

Hotel has an excellent location for bars and food with good free parking and facilities.

Excellent hospitality with water given up on arrival and happy hour where you could have free drinks and snacks from the bar with breakfast included as well. There was a business centre with Mac's which is a nice touch if needed.

Room was nice enough for a midrange hotel with good kitchen facilities in the room.

Negatives were that the breakfast area was very dull and felt very much like a budget hotel also the pool was out of working order for maintenance but non of the staff asked appeared to know why and when or if we could use it.

Overall a good stay and I would recommend.

Embassy Suites is by far my favorite place to stay in Tuscalossa. Although I haven't lodged in every hotel in town, I can safely say this place is top notch. I've stayed here with my crew on two separate work assignments this year (hailing from across the country) and both times all of us felt pampered.

The staff are fantastic - exceptionally welcoming, attentive, friendly, and courteous - you'll soon feel like family staying here. These women and men definitely go above and beyond in embodying hospitality.

At first I didn't believe it - EVERY SINGLE NIGHT Embassy Suites Tuscaloosa features a two hour long free cocktail hour with simple hors d'oeuvres and choices of wine, beer, and liquor with cocktails de jour.

The hotel itself is swanky and very comfortable. I love the vertical fountain in the sitting room outside the bar and restaurant, with ample seating and generous floor to ceiling windows. The elevators are fast - which makes a difference over time. You don't spend much time waiting for, or in, the elevator.

The rooms are impressively quiet and comfortable, with a variety of lighting options throughout, allowing you to custom tailor the lighting from bright to soft. Some rooms even come with dimmable lighting, while others do not. Each room I stayed in has big windows, with sheer and light blocking curtains.

I like the fancy glass showers in the bathrooms, and the option to light the shower area without fully illuminating the entire bathroom. It's also really nice having two drawers in the bathrooms, to minimize countertop clutter.

I appreciate all the cupboard / storage space the kitchenette affords, and the deep sink allows you to fill tall water bottles and comfortably wash dishes.

The wardrobe / armoire / built in closet and drawers provides spacious storage for and quick access to clothing and other personal items.

The location is absolutely ideal: just up the hill from the Tuscaloosa Riverwalk, and right on the entrance corner to the University BLVD strip of restaurants and bars and shops. It's a quick walk to the edge of the University of Alabama campus. I even found my way on foot to the public library, not prohibitively far afield. Thanks to this ideal location, I have become familiar with Tuscaloosa's vibrant downtown in a way that wouldn't be possible staying even a little ways away.

We all appreciate the bonafide hot breakfast in the mornings. Whereas a lot of other hotels have cut back on the quality of their breakfasts, Embassy Suites Tuscaloosa Downtown has an omelette bar, piping hot oatmeal and grits with an assortment of toppings, and a wide variety of other hot and cold food offerings.

And the gym has been a fabulous amenity to have on hand - not skimping on free weights, medicine balls, and the crucial muscle roller for ironing out your IT band and stiff leg / back muscles.

It's been a genuine pleasure staying at Embassy Suites this fall and I feel truly blessed to have called this place my home away from home. A big thank you to all the staff at Embassy Suites!

Stayed here for a wedding weekend and it was a great stay! Andre at the front desk was very nice and professional, we enjoyed a little upgrade and welcome bag. Any encounter with the cleaning staff or bar/kitchen staff was very pleasant. Clean, reasonably priced, and perfect location walking distance to all that is now downtown!

Probably the best hotel to stay at if you're visiting Bama. Free breakfast and happy hour + close proximity to downtown Tuscaloosa and UA makes this place awesome. Also rooms are clean and service is great

We went to a Valentines Ball that was held here and everything was wonderful. The food and the service was great!

Very nice hotel in a great location. The rooms were updated abs very clean. The service was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing, Makes a big difference when you can get a made to order omelet. I definitely recommend when you are in Tuscaloosa.
