I ordered the shrimp n grits, with a side of pancakes and two scrambled eggs. I had the strawberry mimosa to drink 8oz. It was great! You really only need one drink. The food was cooked to perfection. 10/10 I would recommend. You have to try the shrimp n grits! The costumer service was great. I will definitely go back to this restaurant.

Delightful breakfast, brunch and lunch restaurant on the Black River. The atmosphere was very laid back and chill, menu was simple but offered enough choices that I looked over it 3 times prior to ordering my omelette. I will definitely be going back the next time I'm in town. The waitress Asia was fantastic, she stayed on everything and was super polite, friendly and soft spoken with classic Southern draw. I will definitely sit in her section during my future visits. Thank you for the experience.

Great eggs Benedict, French toast, and pancakes! Cold brew is very milky but ask for more concentrate and it’ll be delicious!

We had a fabulous time along the river walk. We had a late brunch at 1p. Food and service is top notch and plentiful. Thank you. We really felt lucky to find this location. The Google map tag with restaurant logo was helpful.

Great experience. I first ate at one of these in New Orleans and found out there was a branch in tuscaloosa and was stoked. I get the Floridian omelette that has crab meat and cheese and is delicious but there's so many options from seafood breakfast to French toast they have sweet and savory and my service there has always been great.

Everything was wonderful. We were vibing on the terrace having a couple day until they sat a family right next to us. I don’t know why hosts do that. Skip a bunch of tables and sit someone right up under you.

We only waited 5 minutes and got a table outside by the beautiful river. My husband and I both had coffee with honey, and they had a variety of lactose free creamers to choose from. We ordered the chicken and waffle with honey chipotle on the side and syrup. The texture of the chicken was perfect and all of the spices blended together well. The waiter kept the coffee coming which kept us warm, and their mugs are so cute. We will be back for sure.

Yes, yes, yes! We moved here from out of state and my husband has celiacs and I have a gluten sensitivity. They have a great variety for gluten allergy and everything was delicious. The staff was kind and helpful. Husband had the omelet with crab and cream cheese and loved it and my kids were thrilled to have pancakes and so was I. The atmosphere is nice, clean and wonderful view. The only feedback I would give it to out pricing on the gf menu. I hate when I have to decide pricing from the regular menu and hope it isn’t too much more.

Well I went to get some breakfast and I can say I was not disappointed. The waitress from the bar took my order, she was very nice and always made sure my coffee was topped off. I ordered the cinnamon roll French toast with scrambled eggs with veggies. The eggs were very good, the bacon was thick and crispy and the French toast was amazing with just amount of sweetness and fruits. The coffee was good as well.

Employees are awesome!! Food is great and the manager Deshia is the greatest ❤❤ Stop by if you are in Tuscaloosa you will not be disappointed ❤

I am in love with their cinnamon roll French toast!!
My boyfriend and I came here and I ordered cinnamon roll French toast. It came topping with a rum butter sauce and cream cheese icing, whipped cream, and fresh berries. AMAZING!! the best breakfast I've ever had. The sauces are so sweet and delicious and the fresh fruit/ whipped cream are the perfect complement to lighten up the dish. These are a must try if you like cinnamon rolls. They even come with eggs and a meat of choice (bacon, sausage, maple apple chicken sausage, ham) and eggs, but I substituted them for breakfast potatoes.

My boyfriend got biscuits and gravy which comes with breakfast potatoes, sausage patties, and eggs, but he subbed the eggs for an extra side of potatoes. The biscuit was nice and fluffy and the sausage tasted good; however, the gravy had a very weird texture/taste. It was thick and almost pasty, and tasted like meat. I wouldn't recommend this dish.

Although we weren't too happy with the one dish, and the potatoes are a bit dry, there are so many other dishes that sound wonderful, the service was good. We didn't wait too long to be seated but I've heard they're pretty packed on the weekends, the waitresses were nice, and we left full !! They have great portion sizes.
They also have a variety of spiked coffees and drinks which sound good but I wish they made more specialty non-alcoholic drinks.

Overall great experience. Would definitely come back to try some other menu items or get me another one of those cinnamon roll French toasts! They have good seasonal specialties that change too for some variety.

Light, relaxing atmosphere. Great place to enjoy brunch. We went for mother's day and even though it was very busy, our server, Tammy, did an amazing job making sure we were completely satisfied with our meal. We chose outside dining, and the scenery was very beautiful. Charming decor, decent variety of delicious brunch food, friendly and attentive staff. I would definitely recommend going here.

The food is delicious came in the morning for breakfast sitting along the patio on the river very nice food is very delicious excellent flavors nice variety. Staff is very helpful. 8-3-17 Blueberry pancakes sunny side up eggs and bacone, this morning during Southwestern omelet 8-8-17,11-11-21 They were closed at 2 o'clock I was 5 minutes late.12-3-21 buttermilk pancakes this time Omelette. Good food 😋 For two.

Wish we had sat outside! Great location on the river. The chicken fried steak was good! Coffee was bitter but maybe I'm just used to less strong coffee.

This place does not disappoint! It’s always crowded when I go but I take that as a good sign. The service is always great and the food is not only visually appealing but delicious! Today I was also rewarded with a great view of the Black Warrior River.

Omg! It was awesome! I grew up in Tuscaloosa and have recently visited several times this year and I am amazed at the changes and wonderful restaurants and growth of the city I grew up in! This restaurant was amazing the food the atmosphere we really enjoyed it! Every time we visit we try a different restaurant!

This is a great place for breakfast or brunch! The server handled our large party (19) very well, we never waited long for food or drinks. The food was delicious and the portions were large.

Our waiter Justin was awesome. So nice. The food was timely and fresh. We got the Cucumber Bloody Mary and it was fantastic. I'd definitely go back and recommend this place to anyone.
