Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

I am so glad to be able to say that my experience at our local Cracker barrel tonight was excellent. The service was great and the food was wonderful. This is the best it has been since Covid . I was worried that they were going to close because it was so bad in the past year or so. Great to to it make a come back.
I had grilled chicken salad and that chicken was moist and had a great flavor.

The grilled chicken tenderloins, okra & turnip greens were great. But, of all things for them to change after all these years of me eating at Cracker Barrel,...... the hashbrown casserole. I have always loved it. This, that I only took one bite of, tasted like an instant kind of stuff at the store that I won't buy. The waitress took it off of my ticket for me when I asked. So, I just wanted to warn those who love it like me.

My friend and I went for lunch. It was 12:23 when we arrived and was told that there would be a 20 minute wait. We were okay with that. We walked around the gift shop until our name was called. Once we were seated, it was only a couple of minutes before the waitress came. I couldn't decide, so she came back at least three times until I was ready. Napkins, silverware, and our drinks were brought right away. However, the appetizer didn't come until one minute before our food arrived. All of the food was great. Big portions of our entrees.
We didn't leave hungry. There were so many pretty things in the gift shop, that we spent an hour looking before we made our purchases and left. The gift shop was really warm and I was grateful to get outside in the cool air.

Had a great breakfast! The service was top notch and everything was clean. We enjoyed Uncle Hershel breakfast with chicken fingers, very good.

Greeted as I walked through the door. Store was full of amazing gifts. Food service was excellent. Food was absolutely delicious!

Everything went swimmingly. The only thing I would change would be a little more seasoning on the steak, but everything else was excellent. The waiter was quite nice, and I was actually fairly shocked by the entire visit, as we had previously had less than satisfactory trips.

Breakfast all day. Great quality, tasty food for the price of fast food. Wide variety of meals in the menu. I know what to expect everytime I enter one. I love the gift shop. Convenient on and off the highway. Friendly service.

It was Sunday so we had a 30 minutes wait but we walked around the country store. Time passed quickly. Food and service was great.

We arrived at about 1:45 pm. We were told that it would be a 15 minute wait for a table which was accurate. However, when we were seated we noticed that there were empty tables all around us, which made the wait to be seated unusual. After we were seated we waited 15 more minutes for someone to take our order. My daughter had to get up and find a waiter to take our drink order. The waiter took our drink order and our food order as well and told us that he would find our assigned waitress who would bring us our drinks. After another 15 minute wait, we got served our drinks, but no biscuits. We waited patiently for 30 more minutes, during which we were told that our food was "just about ready and would be out soon". After a grand total of about an hour and a half of this nonsense, we left. We received one drink apiece and no food whatsoever. This is the worst dining experience that I have ever endured and I will not be going back. I am sure that they will be able to rope in people traveling the interstate, but locals like myself will be giving them a wide berth. Very sad for a nationally known brand. Management is simply atrocious.

The other night me and my wife decided to give this location another try. Prior every time we have came to this location we have had extremely poor service if we even stayed for food or drinks. When we went we didn’t say anything about our past experiences here or anything. We were seated promptly by the host. Our waitress I think was Rachael? Got our drink orders quickly, food orders came quickly and correct with no issues, she came and checked on us several times asking if everything was good and if we needed anything else. She was very polite and nice. She did a fantastic job and gave us hope for this location. Will definitely give this place some more chances. Just wanted to tell Rachael keep up the awesome work and great service!!

The food was good and the service was even better.

Since traveling, I come here frequently. Everyone calls me "Ms April". I eat breakfast there quite frequently. My 2 main menu items are the Grandma Sampler and the Strawberry cheesecake pancake. Chelsea is a wonderful server!! She is always smiling. The other servers are also good. The environment is welcoming and professional.

Went for a late Easter lunch and almost missed out. They were out of all the chicken dishes and a few veggies. Finally settled for fish. Service was excellent and other than not preparing enough food, everything was great. Everyone was helpful and restaurant was clean.

Was wheelchair or ASL friendly

It was a great visit and they where very nice.

Overall, everything was great. The only thing I could say on improvement would be maybe a little seasoning on the steak, but other than that, everything was perfect. The waitress was very friendly, I was actually quite surprised by the entire visit as we have had not so good visits in the past.

This Cracker Barrell in Tuscaloosa, AL was probably the most enjoyable of all that we have visited in over 12 states! It was very clean, unlike many we've visited. Service was impeccable...Madison was on top of everything! Always delicious food and our go-to when we're on the road.

Cracker Barrel is always a hit. But there’s a fella here, Hunter, he was amazing. He was funny and attentive. We will be back in a couple weeks and will definitely be back to see Hunter!

Our waitress Aleesa was her first day on the floor. She was nervous, but she did GREAT. Very attentive and as Sweet as Biscuits and Honey. Great addition to your team with a Lovely Personality.

Great place.
The floors are very sticky, and the bathroom/tiled areas are a Lil slick. But food is excellent and servers nice.

Cracker Barrel makes a great breakfast that you can eat anytime of day.

Visited on a Sunday evening while traveling through to Summer Camp. It was quiet.

Food was really good.
