A great place to get your racket restrung or pick up a new one. They provide excellent service, great advice and high quality materials. I used to go to another tennis store in Austin, but this is hands down the best- Micheal will take the time to explain things and you feel at home.

We LOVE New Tech Tennis! Best stringing, customer service, prices and selection in town! If they don’t have it in the store, Michael can get it super fast! He’s always gone above and beyond in helping our son pick racquets, tension and prep for tournaments. Same-day stringing has been a lifesaver for us!

Went in a deep search of the austin area for a new racquet after my last Babolat shattered, came across New Tech Tennis. They have such a wide range of high quality shoes, racquets, and all tennis gear/apparel present in the store. It was amazing! Despite it being sold out almost everywhere, I found the exact racquet I wanted! Not only was I able to purchase my new racquet (Wilson Shift Pro) they also provided a speedy & custom racquet stringing, and gripping service. Which allowed me to customize my Wilson to my on-court fashion desires. I’m confident I’ll now be the most skilled, and fashionable player on the court moving forward! Lol. Loved my time here, owner was very kind, helpful, and dedicated to my needs. I’ll definitely be coming back!

First-time flyer and impressed. Exceptional service and knowledge of tennis racquets. The store has an excellent selection of demo and pre-owned racquets as well. They can easily customize your racquet (add lead tape to balance, modify grip size or restring) and make you feel like a pro. From the looks of it, this is the go-to pro shop for restring tennis rackets (a new customer must’ve come in every five minutes to drop off a tennis racket). I’ve been a regular at this place for over 2 years and I still don’t regret each visit. Michael has always been reliable and friendly when it comes to picking and choosing a good racket, and being able to string on the same day too. That’s an amazing deal that most places don’t offer. Although a bit more expensive with the same day stringing, he does a great job with stringing and it feels like the tension is perfect. Totally would recommended this place to anyone who’s trying to get into tennis or needs a quick stringing job for amazing quality! :)

Very good place! Gave my racquetball racket for re stringing. Charged 15 for labor, and 7 for string. And return in about 3 hours!

I've lived in many different parts of Austin, but regardless where it has always been worth it to come to New Tech for my tennis needs. They are extremely knowledgeable, professional, friendly and courteous. I leave with my racquets strung timely and reliably and a smile on my face. They care and their work shows.

Got racquets strung there and bought grip and over grip. Friendly and professional. Gotta remember to go on Saturday. They are closed on Sunday!

Great shop. Michael is always willing to assist with recommendations and go the extra mile for his customers. I would like to say it is a hidden gem, but I think they are bit more known than I realize. I moved to the area 6 months ago and always go here for my tennis needs.

Our go to place for all our tennis related stuff! Owners are so nice too! They sell tennis rackets, sound dampeners, clothing wear, re-stringing of rackets, etc.. you can also find some other cool stuff there too! Kites etc.. turnaround time and service are always exceptional!

Best stringing /racket service have ever been affiliated w...... has helped me pick out my last 4 rackets and did a masterful job of stringing each of them.... all at a more than reasonable price . If you are in the market for equipment, you can't go wrong going to them - their recommendations come from decades of experience. The location is great, too.

This shop is run by incredible people who are friendly, professional, and customer focused. I have bought racquets, strings, and accessories many times over the years. They are super nice and make sure you are completely satisfied with their service. I refer them to my friends who are in need of any tennis racquet or stringing job to be done since I know for sure they do a customer focused job every single time. And they are reasonable priced and the stringing job turnaround time is very fast and sometimes even sooner than promised.
