Sundance Bookstore

I loved my time at Sundance Bookstore! The building is an old house with lots of charm. They have an amazing record collection. They had a great collection of local authors with some of their books signed. I spent a great deal of time browsing. They have a very small selection of romance. I took an Uber over but I heard parking is sparse.

Absolutely loved this bookstore! 😍📚So many good books to see in this two story bookstore! 🥸You can find great gifts and souvenirs here. The retail they offer is very unique and makes for a fun shopping day! 🛍 you can find a great selection of cards for any occasion! ✉📪 The also have special events throughout the year and that makes for something fun to do over the weekend 🤩 If I lived here I would come here all the time to sit under the big trees 🌳 in front of the building and read for hours!
Also, it’s definitely haunted 👻

Legitimately one of my favorite bookstores I’ve been to recently, they have a whole room of used books plus an amazing selection of local authors and local books / books set locally / with local stories. Beautiful old house and amazing selection. They have such a wide variety of books - I discovered books I probably never would have otherwise come across

Love this bookstore!!! So glad I got to check it out during my visit to Reno. Cool setup with converting old house into bookstore. Great selection of books. Also loved the overall emphasis/theme on nature found in both book selection, greeting card offerings, and setup.

Any book lover needs to treat themselves and come to this book store. The book selection is great, but it's the atmosphere that makes this place special.

sundance is the most rad bookstore i have ever come across. anyone visiting the reno/tahoe area, anyone who has never been, and seasoned sundancers alike can find new and exciting reads every time they walk in. the folks working @ sundance are a bunch of folks with serious knowledge, dank recs, and friendly smiles.

What a beautiful bookstore that I only came across now, even though I've been living here for the past 3 years. They have a great selection of new and used books, the vibe is amazing, the people are really sweet! Do visit.

Nice local bookstore. I went in today with a friend to look for a couple of books and while they didn't have them, they were willing to order them. I feel like that's normal of a local bookstore though. Typically they're going to be smaller and their inventory won't be ample as a chain store, but they are capable of getting you what you want. As you can see in the pictures, they've got a lot of inventory here. However, if they don't have what you want and you have a bit of patience, supporting local businesses is usually a good thing. So keep that in mind while going to this place. That aside, they have nice, organized sections and different rooms. The look inside is pretty cool. They have a couple of places to sit inside as well.

WOW! That was my first impression when I walked in to this bookstore. I was not expecting Reno to have such a place; something you can only find in Toronto or New York. Lots of books, most of them new, with some used books. Parking spots are limited. This is a perfect spot for book lovers, to have dates, or just to hangout.

My favorite local bookstore on my favorite street in town! The atmosphere is unmatched and the staff is always friendly and helpful. They have a diverse selection of vinyls from all different genres as well as rooms and rooms of books!

Great bookstore! Beautiful historic building with lots of small rooms. Make sure to explore! Good selection of books, new and used. Also a small room with music. A few comfy chairs to sit in while you browse.

What a great bookstore. I love local bookstores that have eclectic books and a cool vibe. They have a great selection and the building itself is awesome. I highly recommend this bookstore.

I love this beautiful house-like library. Every room has books and they are all properly categorized and alphabetized. The hardwood floors make you feel somewhat nostalgic and completely peaceful as you enter more than six rooms that have two stories that you are permitted to explore. Loved this place!

They offer new and used books, records and cards. I was here for the books and it's a beautiful store to wander through. Definitely a bright spot in Reno.

Soo many books! New and used books. Each room is organized into a different genre and really creative decorations and lovely decor. Can't wait to come back to buy some more books for everyone!

Omg the store is absolutely incredible. It is an old historic building with original wood paneling. The former bedrooms serve as book departments. You feel like you are in the library with comfy chair scattered throughout to sample books.
