Wild River Grille

We reserved the River Room for our small wedding reception and everything was so beautiful and a great value! We had about 50 people, so it was the perfect size for us. We worked with Emma on all the details beforehand and she was so lovely throughout the process, answering all our questions and also just being there the day-of to make sure we had a great time. The staff set up our tables exactly as we asked, it was so beautiful.
We chose a buffet and the food was amazing! All of our guests raved about it. The bar staff was also super kind and attentive and kept everyone happy all night. The restaurant even allowed us to have a fro-yo tuktuk parked on the patio for our dessert. I would highly recommend Wild River Grille for any special event!

We chose Wild River for our 25th anniversary celebration. Obviously budgets are involved and we were able to have what wanted and not break the bank. Our guests all said the food and atmosphere we excellent and were pleased with their experience. I would definitely recommend them to family and friends to hold their event. Alex coordinated everything with me and due to my work schedule it was via email. I put my trust in her and she didn't disappoint.

We had the pork belly appetizers...... they were AMAZING, grilled, and topped with a great sweet and spicy sauce. We split the rib eye (picture shows my half of the steak) also super delicious. There is plenty of food.

Food was amazing! I had the Mahi and my husband had the meatloaf. Both were delicious! The two acoustic musicians were wonderful... I had dessert just to stay and listen more!

Had to take Old Tom and All Balls, two of John Henry's bulls up to the Yarndel Yeller ranch, the double Y brand on the Jakehandle for winter cause they kinda break things up if they can see the cows here. We made a dead run of it and only had time to stop at the Wild River Grill here in Reno, on our way back because you can't go through this town without stopping at the Wild River Grill, it's against the law! The food, as always was amazing!

Quality of the food here is excellent. Only complaint that I have is that we ordered the scallops as an appetizer. It's the most expensive appetizer on the menu, yet it comes with only three scallops. There were two of us sharing this so maybe an even number would have been better. For $27. I think I should get more than three. Other than that we had an excellent experience. We had a nice window seat with a view and a fantastic server named Korey. She was able to keep attention on us among all the other customers. She was very polite and had great customer service skills. Again, the food here was delicious. The service was great. Always a nice date night with the wife.

Unbelievable, made the wedding dinner that much more special. The team took care of everything, and every kid had surly timples to toast.... bravo!!!!

Great tasting summer special drinks ( I got a rose sangria ) and it’s probably the best looking octopus I have ever had on my plate, it’s on the top list of best tasting as well!

We ate there with the family (six people) and everything was delightful. Our server Justin was attentive and great with suggestions (while doubling as the bartender)!

We all got different items and all the food came out fast, and was cooked very well.

Here is their Caprese Chicken Sandwich (monthly special) and Tuna Sandwich add pickles. The Caesar was tasty too!

Recommended if you’re downtown and want a nice sit down on the Truckee River that won’t break the bank.

I had the seared pork belly, the sausage trio, and the gambling pig sandwich, and in spite of them all being pork, they all had very different seasoning and flavors ! Friendly staff

Great lunch spot in Reno. We had the pork belly and trio sausage for appetizers and both were fabulous. Moved on to the tuna melt, less the bun and were not let down. Enjoy. Cheers

Beautiful outdoor dining, right next the the gorgeous Truckee River...Another delicious meal and incredible ambience of this restaurant. Definitely Reno's best!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Our server made the night. She was very nice, very open to our dietary requests and seemed to genuinely care about our experience. She was quick to update and bring our food too. Thank you.

The Wild River Grille provides a wonderful dining experience! Right next to the Truckee River, they have a lovely, large outdoor dining patio. The service and wine expertise provided by Justin was excellent. Two of of us had the Pear Brie sandwich. Other than the stale bun, it was delicious! We look forward to a return visit!

The food was delicious and perfectly portioned. My 2 sisters and I got 5 different items and shared all of them. We had leftovers. The wine was good, too. We sat outside and listened to live music, which added to the ambiance of the location. I definitely recommend this place!

Fantastic happy hour! Highly recommend the Togarashi Fries made with cajun mayo, unagi sauce, sesame seeds, and scallions - we had to get two orders! The raspberry lemon drop is a muy try. The service was great and the food came out fast, for being such a busy happy hour.

This is a highly recommendable restaurant in downtown Nevada, right across the river. Delicious food. Great ambience. The lovely Ms. Korey who took care of us was very friendly & helpful with the suggestions. We didn’t have to wait long for the food. The broccoli-cheddar soup was perfect. Exact amount of salt. Nothing less, nothing more. Just perfect! The beer steamed mussels is a must for foodies! I have never tasted this flavor before. Definitely going there again for this entrée! Five stars to this! The salmon was fab & so was the chicken, not to forget the mashed potatoes. Five stars to the food, the staff, the ambience, and the location. A ‘must’ place to eat for all.

Serves amazing food that is not just classy and delicious but also beautifully presented. Absolutely dog friendly by having an outdoor eating area by the river where you can bring your dog with you. We had Tuna tartar, truffle fries, seared pork belly and crab and salmon cake.

We sat at the bar. It was consistently busy, but the bartender was amazing. She kept up with the crowds and the restaurant orders without missing a beat. We had the sausage trio for an appetizer. It was yummy. All three kinds of sausage were yummy, and the mustards and fixings went perfectly with them. I had the double cut pork chop with mash potatoes and green beans. It was cooked perfectly, and the sauce was a cajan spice tasty. My bf had the mushroom Ravioli. The sauce was decadent and perfectly seasoned. I may have stolen a few bites. The drinks were balanced. I made my own drink with their peach vodka, ice tea, and fresh strawberries muddled. It was yummy. The bf had the Philosopher. In fact he had two. If I'm ever back in Reno I would definitely eat there again.

Outstanding place in Reno for fine dining. Our server, Grant was very helpful, including picking my entrée the chicken piccata which was outstanding. Everybody here was great, excellent service. We loved all the food. Can’t wait to come back and explore the rest of the menu. And the cocktails were amazing too!
