The Loft Violin Shop

We truly enjoyed visiting. The knowledge he had of all stringed instruments was absolutely amazing. We had a very old violin appraised. Though it had been reworked in the 50s, which the appraiser recognized immediately, he was kind enough to check it thoroughly. Had it been the original, it would have had an amazing value. I would highly recommend the loft to anyone in need of new or used string instruments.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Very knowledgeable. I had issues with the size of my instrument and they did an exchange for one that fit me more comfortably without any issues. I had a string break and they helped fix it for me. The rent to own program they have is so helpful on making taking lessons easy and not making a huge dent in the pocket book and being stuck with an instrument you may not like or able to use in the long run.

This place has amazing service. Probably like most parents we started with them blindly as part of rental programs through schools but we have had the chance to stop in and see this great little shop first hand. When we got there it was clear it’s time for back to school and they were slammed - but they took care of everyone in a timely fashion and with a genuine smile for each person. The staff were all extremely knowledgeable about not only what we needed for that visit but the status of our account as a whole.

This place deserves a heck of a lot of recognition for being able to treat every family with a smile during back to school season! Happy to know my youngest is going to continue getting great service from them as they start their musical journey.

We had a great experience here as well. Their service is excellent! We were in Columbus for the day, and since we had been looking for a cello for our son, we decided to stop by. My feeling is that we were treated the same way as every other customer that goes there, which is with outstanding attention and care. 100% recommended!

We love the Loft. My son has been renting to own a violin for 2+ years, I’d had a violin for a year and my daughter has had a viola for 1.5 years. All quality instruments. They take care of annual tune ups and bow replacements with no issues. Staff are knowledgeable and kind. Highly recommend.

We got a violin and cello. The violin sounds loads better than the cheap one I had been using. It resonates well and holds a tune. The total cost for the violin, case, book, bow and new shoulder rest was not bad at all. Same for the cello. Their rental prices are great and the instruments are even better.

I brought my gf who is an amazing Fiddle player to get a new (trade-in) bow. I am so happy to have had a great first experience. Sidney (I think was her name) was one of the nicest, smiliest (made up word lol) people I've ever met. You guys were great! Thanks for making our day great.

This is a cute store gor any bow instrument. Their rental program is awesome and the people that work there are a huge help.

I'm renting my son's viola from here. The people were nice and the shop was just so cute. They have a great selection and will measure you there. You can also fill out a rental form online.

A great violin shop, where it serves all your needs for violin, viola, cello and bass. From violin rental (they has a great rental program) to violin repairs, or even possible a violin teacher referrals. My daughter started violin and rented a violin there about 20 years ago. We still go to Loft whenever there is a need.
