This is a traditional full-service shoe store, the type that I remember from my childhood that has all but disappeared. Highly knowledgeable staff can individualize customer service with their unique technology that's able to map your footprint and video-record your running and walking gait. With that information, shoes that are the best fit for your feet can be recommended. For an additional charge, I also had custom inserts made, that I can use again and again with each new pair of shoes that I buy. Great retail selection too -- workout clothing, socks, energy snacks, etc. It's the only place I'm buying my running shoes from now on!

Mark helped me and was very thorough in getting the right fit for me. I learned things about my feet that I didn't know before. I am still figuring out if the shoe I purchased is the right one for me, however, having a 90 day guarantee makes me feel comfortable with my purchase. I will definitely be going back for additional purchases!

I didn’t know this place existed and I live a mile away. Ive taken my health very serious this year and now walk 10,000 to 20,000 steps a day. My feet are jacked due to buying incorrectly sized shoes online for the past ten or more years. I was hoping I could get my shoes sized correctly. I had no clue what I was in for when I walked through the door. A complete and thorough foot exam to determine the correct size of footwear. Would highly recommend this store.

I highly recommend Road Runner Sports! I used to have to wear an ankle brace each time I worked out. Once I was properly fitted with the right shoes and custom insoles, I no longer need my brace. The staff is very knowledgeable and listens to your individual needs.

They always give us an incredible experience when shopping at the stores. The store Mgr Donovan, took all the time in the world fitting our daughter and son in law. He truly gives World Class customer service.

Once again the staff at RR was exceptional! I took my daughter in law there the day before Christmas to have a Runner’s Experience as her gift! They analyzed her step, arches, fitting for inserts, socks, sports bra, and shoes! She received one on one service and learned a lot about her feet and gate, and is hopefully ready for an injury free year ahead.

Staff was readily available for help and knowledgeable in answering questions about running shoes I was trying. The store is organized and clean and has a great amount of all things related to running/walking. It’s my go to place for a large number of options for running shoes and items related to running😀.

Since I was already in the system, they knew my size and preferences, so i was in an out in ten minutes with my new shoes. Salesman was great and friendly and knew just what to do.

Accidentally stumbled upon this place on google as it is a few miles from my house, went in and it was more then I could imagine! Connor assisted me with finding the perfect shoe and insoles by using the tredmill and measurements of my feet. Connor was a great help and my feet feel amazing in my new Hokas and insoles! Today I visited your Worthington location and was greeted and assisted by Eva. I work for a local podiatry group and our Drs recommend Brooks shoes to many patients so I came in looking to try on both Brooks and Hoka shoes. Eva was pleasant and knowledgeable and after the treadmill and scan of my feet she assisted me in picking out the correct shoes for my feet. I have plantar fasciitis and that pain disappeared as soon as I stood up in the Brooks! Signed up for the VIP as well because I know I will be purchasing more shoes for myself and I will bring my husband in as well! Its well worth the drive from Mt Vernon! I will recommend your business for sure!

I have bought shoes at the Worthington location twice. Good experience both timers. Very good experience with their associates. The most recent occasion, Kelsey helped me. Kind, patient, knowledgeable, accommodating. Love being treated with respect.

Went on a Saturday afternoon and their staffing of three people seemed adequate. I only had about a 10 minute wait.

Love their 90 day return policy; love their rewards program; love their free shipping to my home if they do not have what I need; love how they analyze how you walk.

Tried their custom inserts they make, and they were okay.

This is the only place I will buy shoes.

I submitted a review 11 months ago that I did not like having to hold on the phone for 12 minutes without someone answering and suggested they use voicemail. They now have voicemail. Thank you Road Runner for listening to my input. I have removed that 1 star review and replaced it with this 5 star review.

This place is great, they give you just what you need, they scan your feet and choose the best comfortable shoes for you, I enjoy doing my job now because my shoes are just perfect for me, guys you won't regret going there

Road runner was recommended to me due to plantar fasciitis and knee problems….at age 69. I’m not a runner but needed help! Kelsey was effective at fitting me for shoes to address my problems including orthotics I can put in other shoes. She had great suggestions on what to avoid too. So far so good but I appreciate the VIP return policy if they don’t work out
