Great place. I called and asked whether ot not they had the expansion for a specific game I was looking for and they did.

When I walked into the place I was blown away at sheer number of board games that they have here all organized by producer. They have pretty much every expansion you could want for any board game. They have magic the gathering cards and other card accoutrements. This place is sweet. Definitely will make my way back here at some point to browse the games. Friendly helpful staff too.

My partner and I have been playing MTG for nearly a decade. We are pretty casual, kitchen table players, but that being said, we buy every set and keep up with everything. We make it a point to visit local card/game shops when we travel. We have been to dozens of stores and this one became a favorite immediately. The staff was very friendly and while they don’t have the space for every single brand, they carry quality products in fun colors and designs!
Their board game selection is fun and they pack a lot of options into their space! I was very excited to see the variety of LGBTQIA+ dice (and other very cool dice) options. The store has very good Covid protocol. Additionally, they carried some products that were made by local/small creators. Love to see it! We absolutely loved this store!!!

A little hard to find as it's in the "back", but Google knows. Lovely selection of games and cards and pins and dice and books and miniatures and related things. Stop by, they can probably help you find what you're looking for in a well-organized and cheerful manner.

This local stalwart has stepped up their game substantially in the past several years. In that time I've experienced nothing but exceptional service and selection. Truly your one stop spot to shop for tabletop games in north central Columbus.

Local game store that carries a wide variety of board games and role playing games. The staff is very knowledgeable about the games and can help you find something whether it is in stock or not. That makes it worthwhile for me to shop there even if I can get the game elsewhere for less.

Great location. Small, but dense and well stocked. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Plenty of parking.

I can't even explain how much I adore this shop! From the Pokémon adoption center case display to the countless board games and ways to customize your table top playing experience. The dice here are *chef's kiss* and the staff is so kind and helpful ❤

Possibly the best board game shop in Columbus. Competition is stiff in this city compared to almost anywhere else in the country. Hands down the best place to go for role-playing games within a couple hundred miles

I have been going to this wonderful place for over two decades and I will continue going forever. Before the times of cons and the acceptance of nerd culture becoming mainstream, this tiny hole in the wall shop was one of the few places where anyone was accepted. Generations of card and table top gamers welcome everyone; old and young, experienced and novice, abled and disabled alike will find compassionate knowledgeable staff and customers to answer any question. Additionally they hold in person gaming tournaments constantly with very low entry fees. I doubt that they're making profit from these tournaments and simply host them for the love of the games and the communities that play them.

Love this place. Amazing selection of boardgames, and they will order in for you if they don't have it. They carry MTG, Pokemon and Yugi-Oh, and prices are good. They also carry many RPGs, like D&D and Call of Cthulhu

I recently visited The Soldiery for the first time about a week ago and it was a really good experience. They have a good variety of stuff to look at. I will definitely be back for any tabletop gaming/miniature hobby needs! One of the things I liked most about this place was the inclusive atmosphere. It immediately felt welcoming, especially for LGBTQ+ people which is very important to me when going someplace new. I was also pleasantly surprised at their persisting mask policy which has been a rarity these days, to say the least. I definitely appreciate the concern for public safety/people with health risks. They also sell some things that seem to be hand-crafted and possibly from small-scale and/or local creatives, which I think is pretty cool. I fully recommend anyone interested in the tabletop gaming/hobby scene check this place out!

Excellent game shop. I like to check out the local game stores whenever I'm traveling, and this place was a cut above the rest. Spent a fair amount of time going over the great selection they offer. Both of the workers were great and even offered to special order things I couldn't find. Definitely recommend The Soldiery for all of you tabletop needs in the Columbus area.

Great selection, great prices, and helpful employees. Came from out of town and stopped by and was blown away by the amount of board games they had available. So many games that I had been looking for and couldn't find in other stores.

Until proven otherwise, this is the best tabletop gaming store in Columbus, in my opinion. I wish they carried older edition stuff, but I can't count that against them as no one really does anymore.

I go here for our Games Workshop supplies and models. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. They're always willing to answer questions and order things in if they don't have it in stock. It's great too because some of their items are actually Online Only for Games Workshop and none of the other stores have those items. Make it nice so you don't have to order directly from them.
