Dollar Tree

i look forward to seeing the suprise goodies at dollar tree, but sadly through research i was made aware how the street people are almost stealing them out of business, which i was through my research caused the neighborhood walmart to pack up leave and close down, which i looked forward to doing my weekly shoping, which walmart called it the store was under" performing" being stolen out of business, i suspect is because in california you can steal up to $900+ dolars before it becomes a felony, on top of that the street people aint got nothing to loose, jail to them is 3 hots and a cot, on top of that, by the time the cops arive the 5 finger discounter is long gone, i sugested to put up signs we reward people who turn in shop lifters, also they could put on the sign please help us stay in your comunity turn in a shop lifter, there is no way do i have the smarts, to figure out the thousands of steps it takes to open 1 store now x that by 5000+ stores, i have heard street talk "i hate rich people, who are probably the low lifes that steal stores out of business, then i ask them do you know any poor people who have opened any stores lately, which causes them to go into a major grand maul sezure, trying to come up with a answer, then to further drive the point home, i say dont you think these rich people you say you hate, could easly close down every 1 of their stores and haply go to a tropical lisland and easly retire for the rest of their lives, not having to put up with low life shop lifters, facts even if money grew on trees the smart ones would get it first, fact i aint that smart, and i aint rich, so fact to the extent a person is rich is a measurement of their smarts, and i make it a point to thank them for being open, oh yeah if i witness a low life abusing a casheer, i will apologize for them being walked allover like a dirty rug, i try to conduct my life on the grudge factor, that means i go out of my way to treat people kindly and respectfull, so far it has worked out in my life real good

Employees are really helpful had a lot of good items

I witnessed the most kind and patient customer service excellence by the cashier. Lourdes, here at the Dollar Tree. There was an elderly lady in front of me in line that needed help putting her bagged items onto her walker. Without the lady asking Lourdes assisted her, making sure her bags were secured and that the lady with okay to grab her handles. She took that small bit of extra time to be kind. You don't see that very often anymore and I wanted to thank her for being a caring and wonderful person. She is definitely an asset to your store! Thank you Lourdes!

Can I just say I was taken aback by my experience at this Dollar Tree?

I was having a dinner party for 12 and I realized the night before that I did NOT have enough matching plates. After work the next day (before rushing home to cook) I stopped by this Dollar Tree (which I didn't even know existed!) because I didn't have time to drive anywhere farther away in rush hour traffic.

The outside was a bit sketchy. Lots of homeless around and not a great neighborhood. Once I walked into the store- the shelves looked ransacked. Half the shelves were emptied. Those still stocked were unorganized. HOWEVER, I heard someone cheerfully greeting each new arrival to the store.

I made a beeline for the dishes aisle, only to realize there were a handful of small appetizer plates and nothing else. I asked an employee if they had anything else. "Tomorrow morning," was the reply. "OH!" I exclaimed, "but my dinner party is tonight!" "Just a minute...."

He disappears, and later, as I'm checking out with all of my other items, a woman (supervisor?) comes up and asks what I'm looking for.
"Dinner plates." I said.
"What color?" she asked.
"White would be fine." I said.
"Round or square?"
"Doesn't matter."
"How many?"
"A dozen."
"I know right where they are."

She disappeared into the back for 3-4 minutes - and the next thing I know, she's walking out with a box of exactly 12 square white dinner plates. They looked amazing, and my dinner party was a smashing success.

The Dollar Tree sales only the good day to day use's of snacks, beverages, food, coffee mugs, meal plates, utensils, body "HYGIENE" care, EVERYTHING!..At affordable prices. I highly recommend everyone to explore The Dollar Tree as soon as humanly possible! You will "NOT!' Regret it.

they have a great variety of random items, understaffed but consistent pricing! :) As i read other peoples reviews i can't help but wonder if people posting negative reviews realize its a dollar store not a department store!!

Moderate amount of stock at discount prices. Check lanes are fairly fast and employees are willing to answer questions regarding where to find items. Nice local neighborhood place to shop for everyday items without going broke.

Very pleasant got outta there for less than $5.00 including tax. Some much more to choose from too. I could'a spent all day there, nice & somewhat clean except for isle 4 the party favors section.

Great ride. Very pleasant disposition and friendly enough to drive a couple extra blocks further than the prescribed destination (with very good reason). I look forward to another ride in the future.

Great 👌 Thank God for this store. Because people on SSI truly depend on this store. It's nice to have stores that understand people that are on a low budget and that are not looked down on because of there income

A quick stop for some greeting cards places is full with numerous type of Hallmark and more etc... greeting cards ,gift cards ,ample supply, wonderful arrangement ,clean atmosphere nice friendly service I'll continue to come back.

This store has a little bit of every thing!! From frozen foods to various decorations for Christmas to pet food to anything else imaginable!! Where things are truly 99cents!! It's worth checking out!!

The employees are so nice. They went out of their way to assist me with something personal. I really appreciate their kindness in this area especially.

Love the staff know all by face ,and a few names. Been coming here over two years always pretty much fine what I'm looking for.

I or my family shop here about once a week. The employees are always welcoming and friendly. They are also willing to help locate items and /or check in the back.

I love shopping at the 25th and Imperial Dollar Tree! It's right on the way home from work on the route 3 bus line, and there's always something new I find each time that I shop here❤!!

Found what I needed, ballons where ready to go and the cashier was so nice and sweet. She wished my mom a happy Birthday and i found out this week is her moms birthday too!

It’s a very good store . Dont forget its a dollar STORE PEOPLE! Anyways i just dont like that there is always crazy black people trying to steal . Its very busy with the homeless from downtown San Diego. Clean store :)
