Great place! Absolutely fell in love with the decor. It's a great location with big windows that are perfect people watching and taking in the scenery of the beautiful area 🩷 the iced latte was good but the almond croissant was the star of the show. Can't wait to come back and try more 😄

This cafe was so cute and a really nice space. It was a decent size, and they had quite a few places to sit. There were several pastries and baked good to choose from. I really enjoyed the spinach quiche and the almond croissant. They also have Chai tea, thai tea and drip coffee. No espresso yet but an employee shared they would be getting an espresso machine soon. I would definitely recommend checking this cafe out.

One of the best bakeries I’ve been to! We were lucky to try their freshly made still warm coconut croissant and it was soooo good! The atmosphere is really beautiful and cozy! Feels like I’m in a European cafe! If you want to socialize with friends, work remotely or read a book/write in a journal — this is a perfect place! Highly recommend:))

The carrot 🥕 cake 🍰, almond croissant 🥐, banana bread 🍞, strawberry 🍓 shortcake 🍰 are all delicious! The store is open and inviting, great to open your laptop and study or for gatherings. There are ample parking 🅿 behind the bakery so you can park, have some pastries and coffee, and walk around Carroll Creek

What an excellent transformation Le Luna has brought to this location! Warm, welcoming, relaxing. The staff is kind, quick and professional. The pastries are some of the best I’ve ever had, not just locally but internationally. Thank you Le Luna!

I recently had the pleasure of trying the salmon quiche at LeLuna Cafe, and it was an absolute delight. From the moment the dish arrived, I was impressed by its presentation. The golden-brown crust was perfectly baked, with a tantalizing aroma that immediately whetted my appetite.

Way bigger on the inside than I thought. Crookie (croissant+cookie) was unbelievable. They have milk alternatives (iced oatmilk chai latte was great) and looks like some decent food options (didn't try anything beyond the pastry). Be advised that they don't carry espresso, so no traditional handcrafted espresso drinks offered as of this review.

This is one of the best bakeries I've been to in Maryland. Their food is reasonably priced ($5-10 per item), and is a fun fusion of American and French baking, as one can find both well made almond-croissants and key lime pies. I had a delicious spinach and cheese quiche, and my wife had a delicious earl grey scone.

We also thought that the decor was nice. The place isn't overpacked with a million chairs, there are different kinds of tables for different kinds of groups with room to breathe.

I'm definitely going back.

I am so excited to have Le Luna here. I just ordered the smoked salmon quiche, and it was delightful. I think it’s very flavorful, and beautiful to look at. I love that everything here is made fresh. I really hate going to restaurants in Frederick and buying a $4 croissant that came from Costco. I want to go out and eat something that’s been freshly made and that is not mass produced and frozen. No offense to Costco… but I like a good real bakery. And that’s what this is.

Today I also got an iced latte with almond milk. I saw a review saying that there were no non dairy options but there are now!!!

This bakery is gorgeous inside- relaxing and perfect for breakfast, brunch, whatever. I’m obsessed with the real flowers, heavy silverware and super nice china. Eating in when you can is the way to go.

Best of all it’s open six days a week and I got there at 10:15am and they weren’t sold out. There were plenty of people here but no long line to wait in.

I also appreciate the portion sizes. My quiche was the perfect portion and I’m looking forward to my croissant as well.

Very cute bakery in downtown with parking! We split quiche, a ham and cheese croissant, and a slice of red velvet cake. Everything was delicious.

Great new place in Frederick! One of the best (most filling!) almond croissants I've ever had!

Beautifully decorated cafe with a relaxing European-style atmosphere. Pleasant music for working and drinking coffee. My wife says it’s the most pleasant cafe experience she’s had since she’s come to America, as she misses European-style cafes.

My wife and I had a banana bread and an almond croissant, and they were delicious. The banana bread had a bit of chocolate and the almond croissant was filled with cream. The utensils are cute. Parking is plentiful and available behind the building so you don’t need to worry about finding street parking or a nearby garage.

It seems to be family-owned and operated, the whole family was working when we came in.

In all honesty, and I’ve tried a lot of different restaurants, bars, etc in this town… this is hands down the best place. Of any of them. But also, definitely the best patisserie.

The vibe is chill and never overwhelming or obnoxious. They constantly have relaxing jazz playing and with the fresh flowers and slightly French country/modernist decor it’s a clean, light space that works perfectly for gatherings, conversations, dates, working remotely, breakfast or lunch meetings, you name it.

The food is superb. I’ve been to Paris and throughout France multiple times. I’ve also visited pastry shops in various cities such a Montreal, NYC, Dallas/Austin, San Francisco and LA, and of course around where I live in the mid-Atlantic and this is easily in my top 3. The pastries are masterfully constructed and the ingredients and recipes are kept simple at the highest quality. No one is reinventing the wheel, and that’s what’s most perfect about Le Luna. They are making elevated, excellent versions of staples (with a little creative variation now and then) that adhere well to patisserie tradition but also are consistently delicious to a modern American palate.

They’ve essentially created the Swiss Army knife of perfectly comforting, perfectly delicious and consistent breakfast, brunch, or lunch spots that facilitates communication and bonding between patrons by its open, Parisian style café design and layout. The massive sound-reducing windows allow in plenty of sun and really give the feeling being part of the bustling area where it’s located without constant car noise or the threat of unwelcome weather.

The staff is incredibly sweet, remembering patrons names and and regular orders, and always being willing to educate and introduce new items and flavor combinations to people with less familiarity with French pastries and their American permutations. They can accommodate carry out orders for offices or gatherings. And they serve the best coffee in the region, Ceremony, which is roasted in Baltimore and is widely known as some of the most excellent in the mid-Atlantic.

Do yourself a favor and visit this place. You will definitely not leave disappointed.

This was our first time and we were not disappointed. So a beautiful atmosphere and delicious food. The ham &cheese croissant and basque cheesecake were are favorites but everything was very good. Plenty of seating! Definitely coming again.

Delicious pastries, lovely atmosphere - I'll be back again! Absolutely loved their almond croissant (went back a second time, so I'm now updating with a pic!)

Very cute bakery! I went with a friend during lunch time and it was very busy. I got the smoked salmon quiche and an iced matcha latte. The quiche wasn’t too bad but needed a little more flavor. The inside of the cafe is so cozy with a beautiful view. I’m hoping they expand their food and drink menu over time. Will definitely be back!

A lovely new bakery cafe in downtown Frederick. It has a number of free parking spaces in the back for customers, which is convenient and pretty rare for downtown. The croissants and panna cotta were delicious. The strawberry smoothie was refreshing and not too sweet. My picky eater of a 3 year old loved all the food and drinks as much as I did. Will definitely come again!

By far the best croissant I've ever eaten!!! Great seating on the inside and food was over the top. Don't expect a huge menu.
It's limited but something for everyone. 1st time there and we will be back!!!

Frederick needed another bakery and this place delivers. The vibe is very relaxing and comfortable. We had a ham and cheese croissant and banana bread. The croissant had a sweet glaze and a little bit of stone ground mustard 😋 the banana bread was also great and had chocolate chips. Can't wait to come back for some chai or matcha.

I would give it a 10 if I could. Love their ceremony coffee. Love love love their pastries and dessert. The owners are very kind and the place is big and cute. Has tons of parking in the back parking lot which I love so I don't have to waste time looking to street park.
