Home For Now

I stayed in a vacation rental with Home For Now and the stay was amazing. Not only was the house amazing that we stayed at but it had everything you could think of there for use. We were there over Thanksgiving and hosted and it felt like we were hosting people in our own home. It was super easy to check in and out and the follow up after our stay was the cherry on top finish. If I ever go back to Reno for a week or year I will definitely use Home For Now.

Great experience, love when you can talk to an owner who genuinely cares about their business. Great service and some of the best furniture it town. Recommend 10/10. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I went to visit my Husband this week and he’s renting furniture through Home for now and the couch barstools all the details are everything he needs. It’s so modern and I love to come home to him because it’s all so nice when I visit him. The customer service that Scot and his team provide are second to none thank you for all of your hard work and hospitality!

We purchased sleigh beds for 2 bedrooms.

Was trying to rent some furniture from them but they never answer the phone I’ve called over 7 times the past 2 weeks and left 2 messages what a shame.

Unfortunately I have mixed feelings about the property I rented. I am a travel nurse and rented a condo from Home For Now for the duration of my 4 month assignment in Reno. Initially I loved the condo. Great location and great amenities. Upon arrival there was damage to a bedside table (covered up by an alarm clock that didn't work) and another spot on the dresser that looked as if a repair was attempted. As there was no walk-through provided with anyone from the company, I emailed letting them know of the damages to ensure I would get my $1000 deposit back. I got no response. The duration of my stay was actually really nice. I had to replace a can opener, scissors, and a wine opener (the ones provided did not work), which I felt were minor inconveniences since the rest of the condo/amenities were great. I kept the condo tidy and did a thorough cleaning upon departure. About a month later I contacted Home For Now to ask about the deposit refund and was told it would be sent. When I received the paperwork, there was a check for less than half of the initial deposit and an itemized invoice of cleaning services and fees for the dresser and bedside table, their delivery, and installation. These were the pieces of furniture I initially emailed the company about. When I contacted Home For Now, they sent pictures of the dresser, table, and a hole in the wall - there wasn't a hole in the wall when I arrived or departed, so they must have been sending a picture of damage to another condo. There was also nothing on the invoice about the hole, so that was confusing. I asked for documentation regarding the previous tenants' move-out notes/damages, etc. since a rep at the company said there were no damages prior to my move-in and didn't acknowledge my email informing them. I was told that there is a house supervisor that checks each condo upon departure - no documents were provided.
In this crazy time in the world, it is sad to have small businesses show such unprofessional, dishonest service. I have warned my fellow travel healthcare workers to watch out for Home For Now and look for more honest and ethical housing. Rent with caution, fellow renters!

BEWARE!
We rented a unit from Home For Now for 3 months beginning 6/1/19 ending 8/31/19. We found a home to purchase during this time and vacated the property a month early. We paid for the last month pursuant to the contract and we left the unit in impeccable condition. We should have been refunded our $2,000 security deposit less cleaning fee, upon termination of our lease. It is now October 2nd and we are getting the runaround from our contact with the organization. She refuses to give us the name of the accountant or the general manager. We believe this company either doesn't have the funds to reimburse us or scams its clientele.
