I haven’t had any goat meat sense we left San Antonio. This place has the best damn goat meat that I ever had. I just wished they could open one up in Marshall, Texas

I like all the different choices they have. I like the fresh halal food and meat options the best. They have good selection of fresh dates, figs, olives and other day to day produce. The store has good variety of middle eastern beverages, snacks, candies, and perfumes too! Please visit the shop and check it out yourself, i am sure you'll find at least one item that you would want to try, especially their fresh food. I have tried their lamb tikka, Iraqi kebab, Turkish kebab, rice and french-fries. nothing disappointed me.

This the best shop to buy goat meat, I have tried every shop in San Antonio and this is the best. The quality is superb and no smell at all. My kids loved all dishes I made after a very long time, so happy found this shop.

The lamb kebabs were full of flavor. Friendly service and the prices are extremely reasonable. Definitely a must stop for anyone visiting San Antonio.

The best kabab sandwich in town. I have eaten at many places, but this one is really different, very delicious. It’s a small place, worth the travel.

This is the only location in San Antonio making daily fresh Afghan Bread, they bake the bread in front of you....Crispy hot, so yummy.

Great place to buy fresh meats at great prices! I recommend the lamb and their steaks. Their lunches and to go food are also amazing. Any of the kebabs with rice can feed, at least two people!

One of the best Halal food and meat Market in San Antonio TX. Verity of food such as Afghani,Pakistani,Turkish,Mediterranean and most importantly the fresh Afghani bread. The owner is a friendly nice guy.

Super friendly staff! One of the best burgers I've ever had (I always get lamb) and surprisingly great pizza too! Can find stuff here that I can't find anywhere else. Great market!

Not only are the employees extremely polite and helpful the food is just absolutely delicious. We got the Lamb Tikka....😍 So tender and the seasonings were spot on. The sauces it came with were perfect for the lamb. We also got a meat lovers pizza. We stopped eating pork a few years back and it's hard to find ingredients in our area to make a pizza that really hits all the spots. Not only did their pizza do that, it's probably top 3 of the best pizzas I've ever had. As a chef I've worked many restaurants, they were not only cleanly but you won't regret eating here. 100% recommend eating here. But wait there's more!! Their market has tons of options not available in your big box stores. Honestly, just come give them a visit and try some food at least.

We go here to get lamb and chicken tika at least once a month. The staff is extremely polite. Being a female couple, they have never given us bad service or made us feel unwelcome. Many of our friends and family go there now.

I go every weekend for chicken meat and goat meat. Staffs are friendly and their produces are good. Very clean and well put store.
We tried their chicken swarma pizza along with Chicken/Lamb tikka. It is very good. They bring the best cuisine in sizable small shop.

Wow! This is my new grocery store!

Clean, clean, clean! It is well stocked with a wide variety of items. The staff is courteous and kind. And the meat department....oh my! American style, Texas sized, steaks, so fresh you would think they had been butchered ten minutes prior. But at affordable prices. Beef, lamb, goat and chicken, with a large selection of organ meat, are offered up in a super clean, traditional butcher shop style.

The meat tastes chemical/hormone free. Matter of fact, I started purchasing Halal meat, not for religious reasons, but because when I moved to Texas, I couldn't eat any locally purchased meat, due to the horrible chemical taste.

We had been purchasing all of our meat, and other specialty items, from another Halal Markets, as we couldn't fulfill our needs at just one market. However, going forward, it looks like my family and I can fulfill all of our needs at Al Madina Meat Market. But regardless of whether or not you have international market needs, If you like excellent meat, at a great price, this store should be on your shopping list.

There are several reasons why I give the Al Madina market a top rating, listed in no particular order:
1. The personnel are friendly, courteous and helpful. Nobody leaves the market without getting personal attention and assistance with whatever they need.
2. Their meats are simply top notch. If you have never tried “halal” meats, you are in for a treat. I believe that you will notice a significantly better taste than what you get at chain supermarkets.
3. Their in-house grill makes excellent fare. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, both Middle Eastern and American. We are frequent takeout customers.
4. Last but not least is the fact that they score %100 on their health inspections consistently.
Finally, after experiencing what the Al Medina market has to offer, my wife and I willingly go out of our way to shop there.
