The first was for motorized shades for western facing windows and we were thrilled with the results. The second time was to upgrade a few windows from blinds to plantation shutters. The final product was AMAZING and it truly transformed the rooms. Maripat at East Creek Designs did a great job for us. My wife is a nurse that works nights, and we needed a solid solution for light control during the day. We didn't want blackout drapes or heavy curtains in our bedroom, so Maripat offered a shade product that is designed to have no holes that let light in when they're closed. She advised us on colors and louvre sizes, had everything measured and installed expertly.

Maripat came out, expertly measured the windows and recommend very clean and modern roller shades that would allow us to see outside when we wanted to and blocked out the heat and baking sun in the afternoon. The shades came in quickly and much more affordable than expected. Maripat had a very clean cut and polite young man come to do the installation. He was prompt, cleaned everything up and they fit perfectly. Better service and pricing than any big box store. I hired Maripat to make barrel-pleated drapes for my daughter. She persevered until there was a finally a product we could live with, but it should not have taken having to return the drapes to the workroom twice to have problems corrected. It was not a pleasant experience.
