Freshly cleaned floors , new selections of beer, fishing gear , toys , groceries and liquor . Staff like Ron Mexico keep the store tidy , el russo holds the fort down. With Jamal always stocking the 2 dollar beer with the best stuff 2 $ dollars can buy . Pappys is the place to be .

If I were to describe Pappy's Market in one word, it would be 'treasure-trove.' Nestled within Oceanside, this magical place offers a cornucopia of beer, wine, and liquor so extensive, you'd think they had a portal to the beverage dimension in their back room!

Junior, Merrick, Miller, and the gang don't just remember your name and preferences; they remember what you thought of that limited-edition beer three weeks ago. Just a stone's throw from the beach and boasting a decently-sized parking lot, Pappy's convenience is only rivalled by its charm. Whenever someone visits, a trip to Pappy's is as mandatory as a tour of the Hollywood sign.

Pappy's hasn't changed that much since 1984, I used to walk the railroad trax from my house past Tony hawk and Mike Magills 30 foot half pipe going to pappy's my father used to sell our family produce there!!! I MISS PAPPY

Not only does Pappys have a great beer selection, everyone is always so nice. The dude working tonight went above and beyond and let me borrow tools right before they closed at midnight so I could fix a dishwasher in our condo. It was super clutch. I'm a life long pappys fan.

Lost my wallet here and they took time to help me find it. It was really nice of them to do. They even showed me the video of me leaving with it, even though I was sure I left it there. Thank you so much PAPPYS MARKET for the help towards finding my wallet! I will be back when in the area again

Great little market to grab the necessities. We were very pleased to see they have dog food!

We always stop in here for this or that. They usually always have what we need at any hour of the day. Staff are usually very friendly and in good moods. Plenty of parking and is acceptably clean. Plus it’s 2 blocks from the beach so you can get your supplies here and walk down or drive and park.

This is the best store in Oceanside and they stay open late. The workers are awesome, especially Forrest. (He is the nicest person, I have ever met.) The prices are more than fair being only a few blocks from the beach. They also have a nice variety of fishing tackle and bait from anchovies to blood worms. Super helpfull and willing to take request, they ordered a special beer just for me. Please support your local mom and pop stores and come on down to Pappys Market. :)

My favorite place for couple of scenarios: 1. Too lazy to drive - let's walk, 2. I just need a can of sweet peas. Place has pretty decent selection of groceries, so you would not be disappointed. Pay a visit on the way to the beach, back from the beach or simply if don't want to waist your time in enormous super markets. Shop crew is always friendly and cheerful.

Great place to buy wine and other items you need for a short stay in Oceanside. Walkable from North Coast Village.

Best in the West. A real community landmark. Legend says you have to go on Tuesdays at 12:36 to see Pappy himself. Otherwise it's got all the snacks, booze, and supplies you'll need for your beach adventure. Just wear a mask and be kind to the locals.

Our go to place everytime we come onto town. Super convenient and just a few blocks from where we stay.
