While other shops don't have play spaces or just bare tables better suited to Friday night magic Hobby Trench has artfully crafted and themed tables that help realize the magic of war games. The owner cares about people's experiences and can order products for all the major table top games played. The fact they also offer commissions and 3D printing services truly allows for customers to fully realize their hobby dreams no matter the skill level. Cincinnati magazine just last year named Hobby Trench best in the city and it's easy to see why.

Cincinnati's best hobby shop / wargaming hangout! The new location is spacious with plenty of tables, and each table is themed to different environments or customized to a particular game system. Gorz the owner is friendly and very helpful for new and experienced customers alike.

Great store with a friendly atmosphere. Gorz, the owner, is super accommodating about commission work and can order a wide range of wargaming mini supplies. It is a bit tight on space but that's the nature of the building and not the store's fault.

I went to Hobby Trench for miniature painting and they did not disappoint! It was incredibly cheap, and would be even cheaper if the figure had been 3D-printed through the store. They can 3D print any file you have and will give you a painting commission discount if you print through them. Hobby Trench can also build tables for you to rent for a battle or scene and can help make custom figures from bits. They can paint a single figure for any TTRPG such as D&D and Pathfinder, or multiple figures for games like Warhammer, the LOTR TTRPG, and much more. Highly recommend if you need a quality mini painting!

Just stopped in for the first time. Very friendly owner who was very involved in the hobby and providing a good experience. I received a tour of the store and workshop. Beautiful gaming tables and campaign table. I’ll definitely stop in again.

Incredible! The people are nice and helpful and I love that the shop is downstairs and the tables are above it. Too many game shops are crowded third spaces that make shopping miserable. I’d give this 6 stars if I could.

It's got everything for your Miniature/Wargaming Niche. The 3D print commissions are super clean and affordable and it's community is very welcoming. The best and most unique hobby store I have every encountered.

Stopped by and checked it out for the first time today. It’s a unique store with an owner, Gorz, whose passion for the hobby, massive level of creativity, and endless energy is awe inspiring. So nice to see that spirit in the hobby! Great conversations, cool products, and a real “man of the enthusiasts” feel. After leaving I felt inspired in several of my hobbies, 40K, D&D, etc. I’d love to see the business grow and become a cornerstone of the Cincinnati gaming community because the owner is a bright light for the hobby. I recommend this store and will keep them on my shortlist for future hobby needs!

A great shop, the owner is incredibly friendly and always organizing new community events, So there's always a game to join or learn about. The 3D printing services on offer also very high quality, highly recommend it if you're looking for 3D printed miniatures or terrain.

Never actually been, but I've heard good things from others. I know the owner and he's severely passionate about the games and activities he is involved in. Really cool guy, almost always in a friendly mood. I would love to give this place a try one day!

Hobby Trench has a dedicated owner who solely builds a unique table to play on that changes so frequently I haven't played a repeat. Every time I come to him and place an order I feel good that I'm spending my money locally building a community. The discord helps me match players very well. Met so many new people through this place.

Great spot with a passionate owner who really knows his stuff while also being welcome and accommodating to all experience levels. Really enjoyed stopping in and looking forward to making it one of my main hobby shop go-tos.

Just recently found this store with a quick Google search and it's one of the best I've been to! Super nice owner, friendly atmosphere and some great gaming tables. Would recommend anyone who likes wargaming or is interested in learning stop by!

This is a unique shop! It's a store dedicated to miniature/tabletop war games, like Warhammer and Bolt Action. There are handmade textured terrain play tables. Oftentimes good deals on new/current miniature products!

Amazing hobby shop for historical wargaming, Warhammer 40k, Kill team, Age of Sigmar, Bolt Action, paints and hobby supplies!

The owner is incredibly helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable about table top wargaming. They even do painting comissions and magnetizing models!

The shop is a little hard to find with no large sign, just park in the back then walk up the stairs to find the Hobby Trench.

A small store with great potential to look forward to ahead. Miniature wargaming Bolt Action in all historical forms available. Warhammer 40k and the Bolt Action spin off Konflict '47 World War II in an alternative universe setting. A polite and enthusiastic owner that made the experience enjoyable and great deals on purchases. Being a military modeler it was nice to find what I was looking for there and close to home for easy convenient shopping.☺👍
